IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING! When using electric products, basic precautions should always be

1. Read all the instruction before using the product.

2. DO NOT use this product near water (e.g. near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink,

5. The product should be located so that its location or position does not interfere

in the operating instructions or as marked on the product.

8. The power supply cord should:

• Be undamaged

• Never share an outlet or extension cord with other devices so that the outlet’s

extension on cord’s power rating is exceeded.

• Be left plugged into the outlet when left unused for a long period of time.

9. Care should be taken so that objects do not fall into, and liquids are not spilled
through, the enclosure’s openings.

10. The products should be serviced by qualied service personnel when:
A. The power supply cord or the plug has been damaged.
B. Objects have fallen into, or liquid has been spilled onto the product.
C. The product has been exposed to rain.
D. The product does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked
change in performance.
E. The product has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged.

11. Do not attempt to service the product beyond what is described in the user-
maintenance instructions. All other servicing should be referred to qualied
service personnel.

12. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the grounding-type plug, which features a
third grounding prong. If this provided plug does not t into your outlet, consult
an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

INSTALLATION AND OPERATION

1. The Power Conditioners are the perfect accessories for any rack mount system.
Install in the top slot of a standard 19-inch rack, and the 4 Front and 14 switched
AC outlets on the rear panel will provide full safety protection to al your rack
equipment. These conditioners protect your delicate electronic equipment by
combining a high voltage varistor surge and transient suppressor with an RFI/EMI
interference lter. The lter helps prevent noise from uorescent lights, motors,
and similar sources of “electronic pollution” from contaminating the AC feed to
your senitive video, audio, vtr or computer circuits.

2. Plug Power Cord (7) into a standard grounded 120V outlet.

3. Plug sensitive electronic equipment into the 14 Rear Panel Outlets (5)

4. Turn Outlet Power Switch (1) to “ON” position. Lit LED indicates conditioned
power to the connected equipment.

5. MAXIMUM LOAD:
The Power Conditioners 4 Front and14 Rear Panel
Outlets are rated at 25 amps total load (or 3000W at
120VAC). If this maximum load is exceeded, the Circuit
Breaker will trip, cutting off power to all connected
equipment in your rack. If this happens, reduce the
load by unplugging one or more units from the power conditioner, and then
press “R” button and turn on the Red switch again.

R Button: It will be always DOWN, when the circuit is ne. It will only be UP
when the circuit is OFF. Press the “R” button before turning ON the RED switch.

T Button: Press it monthly to make sure the Safety switch is working good.
