340 WATT STEREO RECEIVER
A powerful solid state unit that features AM/FM auto-tuning, exclusive center tuning and convenient remote control operatable from distances up to 23 feet. Single touch of the auto tuning button activates the tuning needle along the dial until strong station signal is reached. New servo-mechanism positions needle directly on station signal and "locks" it in for true accuracy.
Receiver provides 340 watts music power output rated at 4 ohms (208 watts total at 8 ohms, IHF rating). Drives any type speaker system with ease, even low-efficiency models.
Tuner uses 5 IC's and 2 crystal filters to provicle unusually low sensitivity of 1.6pV. Pulls in weak and very distant stations with distinctive clarity.

SX-9000provides 240 watts of power (at 4 ohms, IHF rating), enough to handle any speaker system made today. Features tone color selector to give "vivid", "bass", "flat", and "soft" colors to the musical program.

Speakers include a big 15-inch woofer, a unique 5-inch mid-range speaker with special "roll" edge for very low distortion, and four tweeters for "trans-, parent" response up to 22,000Hz. One is a cone-type tweeter, one a horn type, and two are supersonic dome-type.
