Be sure to use the dedicated LI-60C(LI-60B)/LI-50C (LI-50B)/LI-40C(LI-42B) battery charger to recharge the battery.

Do not short-circuit the battery terminals with a metal-

lic object. When carring or storing the battery, make sure that the , and terminals and not shortcircuited.

Never throw the battery into a fire or put it near a fire.

Do not use, charge or store the battery where it may be exposed to high temperatures. For example, do not leave it on the dashboard of a car under direct sunlight or place it near heating equipment.

Never solder the battery or attempt to repair, deform,

modify or disassemble it.

If battery fluid gets in your eyes, blindness may result. Rinse your eyes with clean water without rubbing them and see a doctor immediately.

WARNING

To avoid fire, overheating, explosion or leakage, do not subject the battery to excessive shock, throw it, or otherwise damage it.

If you notice any abnormalities such as leakage, discoloration, deformation, overheating, or odor, remove the battery from the camera or battery charger immediately and stop using the equipment.

Never expose the battery to water or moisture including rain, seawater and animal urine. Do not charge or use a wet battery.

WARNING

If fluid from inside the battery sticks to your skin or clothes, it may cause injury. Wash it off immediately with clean water and see a doctor.

If charging does not complete in the specified charge time, stop charging to prevent fire, overheating or ex-

plosion.

Keep the battery out of reach of children. Should a child swallow a battery, see a doctor immediately.

CAUTION

The LI-60B/LI-50B/LI-42B Li-ion battery is designed only for use with those cameras for which it is specified. Do not use it with any other equipment.

The battery gets hot after extended use in a camera. To prevent burns, do not remove the battery from the camera immediately after use.

RECYCLING THE BATTERY

Please recycle LI-60B/LI-50B/LI-42B batteries to

help save our planet's resources. When you throw

away dead batteries, be sure to cover their , and terminals and always observe local laws and regulations.

DANGER

Bien s'assurer à utiliser le chargeur de batterie LI-60C (LI-60B)/LI-50C(LI-50B)/LI-40C(LI-42B) spécifique pour recharger la batterie.

Ne pas court-circuiter les bornes de la batterie avec un

objet métallique. Lors du transport ou du stockage de la batterie, bien s'assurer que les bornes , et ne sont pas en court-circuit.

Ne jamais jeter la batterie dans un feu ou à proximité.

Ne pas utiliser, recharger ni ranger la batterie dans un endroit où elle risque d'être exposée à des températures élevées. Par exemple, ne pas la laisser sur le tableau de bord d'une voiture ou près d'un appareil de chauffage.

Ne jamais souder la batterie ni tenter de la réparer, de la déformer, de la modifier ou de la démonter.

Si du liquide de batterie entre dans vos yeux, vous risquez de perdre la vue. Se rincer les yeux avec de l’eau claire sans les frotter et consulter immédiatement un médecin.

AVERTISSEMENT

Pour éviter un incendie, une surchauffe, une explosion ou un écoulement, ne pas soumettre la batterie à des chocs excessifs, la jeter ni lui faire subir d'autres traitements qui pourraient l'endommager.

Si vous constatez une anomalie telle que écoulement, décoloration, surchauffe ou odeur, retirer immédiatement la batterie de l'appareil photo ou du chargeur de batterie et arrêter d'utiliser le matériel.

Ne jamais exposer la batterie à l'eau ou à l'humidité comme la pluie, l'eau de mer ou l'urine. Ne pas recharger ni utiliser une batterie mouillée.

AVERTISSEMENT

Si du liquide de la batterie vient sur votre peau ou sur vos vêtements, il risque de causer des blessures. Rincer immédiatement avec de l'eau claire et voir un médecin.

Si la recharge n’est pas complète au bout de la durée de recharge spécifiée, arrêter la recharge pour éviter un incen-

die, une surchauffe ou une explosion.

Garder la batterie hors de la portée des enfants. Consulter immédiatement un médecin si un enfant avale une batterie.

ATTENTION

La batterie Li-ion LI-60B/LI-50B/LI-42B est conçue uniquement pour l'utilisation avec les appareils photo pour lesquels elle est spécifiée. Ne pas l'utiliser avec d'autre équipement.

La batterie devient chaude après un usage prolongé dans l'appareil photo. Pour éviter des brûlures, ne pas retirer la batterie de l'appareil photo immédiatement après utilisation.
