Basic Operation

Power Directions

The MXR® Wylde Audio Overdrive is powered by a single

9-volt battery (remove bottom plate to install), a 9-volt AC
adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003, or an MXR® Brick™

Series power supply.

1. Run a cable from your guitar to the WA44’s INPUT jack

and run another cable from the WA44’s OUTPUT jack to your

amplier.

2. Start with all knobs at 12 o’clock. Turn the eect on by

depressing the footswitch.

3. Rotate OUTPUT knob clockwise to increase eect volume

or counterclockwise to decrease it.

4. Rotate TONE knob clockwise for a brighter tone or

counterclockwise for a warmer tone.

5. Rotate GAIN knob clockwise to increase overdrive

intensity or counterclockwise to decrease it.
