Welcome
This camera is not resistant to water and should not be used outdoors in snow or rain. If accidentally dropped in water, please quickly dry it in sunlight or an air-blower.
Protect this camera from excessive humidity, as it might wet the lens and produce blurry pictures.
Do not attempt to disassemble the camera yourself. Always take it to an authorized service facility for repair.
To store the camera, wrap it in a clean, soft cloth and place it in a cool, dry, dust-free place.

PC/Notebook computer with Pentium 166 Mhz minimun processor and USB port.
Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP, CD- ROM drive, color monitor, mouse and keyboard.
NOTE:
For transferring still images or for video conferening,your computer
must have a modem, and communication software and an internet
connection.

Battery Installation
Power Up
1. Open the battery cover.
2. Insert batteries in correct polarity(+ and -) as shown on the inside of the battery door.
3. Close the battery cover.
Turning the Power ON/OFF
1. Push the Power button to turn the camera on.
2. To turn the camera OFF, press the Power button until the camera beeps and the LCD screen goes blank.
Sleep Mode
1. When the camera is ON and is not used for 60 seconds, it will
automatically enter sleep mode to save battery power.
2. To re-activate the camera from sleep mode :
Press the Power button once. The camera is ready to take pictures.

1. Power on the Camera. By default, the camera will be in DSC (picture) mode every time it is powered on.
2. Frame your target through the LCD display or through the viewfinder.
3. Press the UP or DOWN button to zoom in or out on your subject.
4. Press the Shutter Button to take a picture.
5. To change exposure settings, hit
the "Menu" button and change the "Exposure" option to the desired setting.
6. You can also enter "Setup", as
shown in Page 5 (Camera Settings)
to change picture options.
NOTE:
The camera stores all pictures in the built-in
memory or memory card.

1. Press the "Enter" button. You can view your files by using the "Previous" and "Next" buttons.
2. Press "Enter" button again to return to Camera or Video mode.

1. Power on the camera.
1. Press the "Enter" button. You can view your files by using the "Previous" and "Next" buttons.
2. Hit the "Menu" button and select "MODE".
2. Use the "Enter" button to playback an AVI movie file.
3. Choose AVI and hit the "ENTER" button.
4. Press the Shutter button to start recording.
5. Press the Shutter button again to stop recording.
3. Press "Enter" button for 3 secs again to return to Camera or Video mode.

Transferring Images
Transferring pictures and video to your computer
When connected to a computer in Mass Storage mode, the camera will appear as a Removable Disk in the computer. Files can then be copied from the camera to the computer.
(Turn on the camera and connect with USB cable .
The camera will set to Mode.)"Mass Storage"
1. Turn the camera on, then connect your camera to a computer via USB cable.
2. In Windows (ME/2000/XP), your PC will detect the camera after connection.
3. Double click My Computer on the Desktop.
5. Double click on the Removable Disk.
6. Double click on the DCIM folder.
7. You can now drag-and-drop files to your PC.
4. A removable disk drive appears.

2. PhotoBase 3.0 introduction screen will appear.
3. Open Album menu bar.
4. Select "Create New" and enter file name.
5. Open Album menu bar and select "Add Image".
6. Save the pictures to your computer.
7. Share and manage your pictures.

3. Click "New" button.
4. Click "Capture".

Playing Movie Clips Using
QuickTime Player 6
1. Double-click the "QuickTime Player" icon on the desktop.
2. "QuickTime Player" introduction screen will appear.
3. Open "File" menu bar and Select "Open Movie in New Player".
4. Select "My Computer".
5. Click "Removable Disk".
6. Click on the video that you wish to play. (ex. SVI-0001)
7. Movie will begin playing .
