RECOMENDACIONES IMPORTANTES PARA EL MENEJO DE ESTE PRODUCTO:

MOULINEX , atenta a la calidad de sus productos, se preocupa tambiŽm con la seguridad personal de sus consumidores. Por esta raz—n, antes de utilizar por primera vez el producto, lea atentamente las recomendacciones e instrucciones de uso. De ellas dependen un perfecto funcionamiento del producto y su seguridad, as’ como la de terceros.

a. Antes de enchufar asegœrese que el voltaje es compatible con el indicado en el producto (120, 127, 220 V o otro). En caso que el voltaje no sea compatible podr‡ provocar da–os el producto y a su seguridad.

b. Este producto fue proyectado, fabricado y es recomendado solo para uso domŽstico. Por lo tanto, no se destina al uso comercial y/o profesional, que exigen una sobrecarga por trabajo continuo, puede provocar da–os e accidentes personales. Su uso en esas condiciones tendr‡ como consecuencia la pŽrdida de la garant’a contractual.

c. Para evitar descargas elŽctricas, nunca use el producto con las manos mojadas o sobre superf’cies hœmedas, no moje las partes elŽctricas del producto ni lo sumerja en agua.

d. Para evitar accidentes este producto no debe ser usado por ni–os o personas que desconozcan sus instrucciones de uso.

e. Desenchufe cuando estŽ usando el producto o cuando vaya a limpiarlo, un pequeno descuido podr‡ conectar el producto involuntariamente provocando accidentes.

f. No utilice el producto despuŽs de una ca’da o si presenta cualquier tipo de mal funcionamiento. LlŽvelo al Servicio Autorizado Moulinex.

g. Nunca utilice el producto con el cord—n elŽctrico o el enchufe da–ados, a los efectos de evitar accidentes, como descargas elŽctricas, cortocircuitos y quemaduras o incendios. La adquisici—n y sustituci—n del cord—n elŽctrico deben ser hechas en el Servicio Autorizado Moulinex.

h. Nunca intente desmontar o reparar el producto, por si mismo o terceros no habilitados, para no perder la garant’a y evitar problemas tŽcnicos. LlŽvelo al Servicio Autorizado Moulinex.

i. No deje el cord—n elŽctrico colgar afuera de la mesa o mostrador, ni tocar superficies calientes, para no da–ar la aislaci—n del cable y causar problemas tŽcnicos y accidentes.

j. Nunca transporte el producto por el cord—n elŽctrico ni lo desenchufe tirando del cord—n, para no efectar el buen funcionamiento del producto y evitar prosibles accidentes.

k. El uso de piezas o accesorios que no sean ariginales de f‡brica puede provocar accidentes personales, causar da–os al producto y perju-dicar su funcionamiento, adem‡s de provocar la pŽrdida de la garant’a contractual.

l. Al enchufar o desenchufar, cerci—rese de que sus dedos no est‡n en contacto con las espigas del enchufe, para evitar descargas elŽctricas.

No deje el producto funcionando o enchufado cuan-

do estŽ ausente, aunque que sea por instantes, prin- m. cipalmente cuando el producto est‡ cerca de ni–os.

Para evitar sobrecargas elŽctricas, no enchufe otros aparatos en el mismo tomacorriente utilizando adaptadores o extensiones, evitando as’ da–ar los com- n. ponentes del producto y provocar serios accidentes.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO

Antes de enchufar asegœrese de que el vaso estŽ correctamente colocado en el cuerpo, es decir, que estŽ trabado en la parte inferior de manera uniforme. Ubique el vaso sobre la base motor y gire el vaso en el sentido de las agujas el reloj hasta sentir que est‡ trabado (fig. 1).

La tapa de esta licuadora posee un sistema de traba: col—quela en la boca del vaso y girela en sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta que se trabe.

Las posiciones del bot—n son (fig. 2):

ATENCIîN

¥ No llene el vaso de la licuadora o no licœe l’quidos calientes o alimentos con temperaturas superiores a 80°C. A esta temperatura el l’quido no est‡ hirviendo, pero produce una gran cantidad de vapor. Cuando licœe ingredientes calientes, no supere la marca de 1250 ml de la jarra. Siempre empiece girando el bot—n de velocidad para Pulsar por lo menos dos veces. Entonces, selecione la velocidad deseada. Este procedimiento es el m‡s seguro en el momento que el vapor sale de la jarra. Mantenga las manos y otras partes expuesta del cuerpo lejos de la tapa y del orificio de la sobretapa para prevenir posibles quemaduras.

¥ No llene el vaso superando la marca de 1.500 ml.

¥La tapa del vaso de la licuadora debe permanecer trabada en la parte superior del vaso durante el funcionamiento del producto.

¥Nunca conecte el producto con el vaso vac’o y no retire la tapa del vaso antes de la parada total de la cuchilla.

¥Las cuchillas son afilladas y deben ser manipuladas con cuidado, evit‡ndose accidentes.

¥No mantenga ningœn contacto con la cuchilla, ni introduzca utensilios (filtro, cuchillos, cucharas, tenedores, etc.) en el vaso, mientras el producto estŽ en funcionamiento, para evitar accidentes personales, con terceros, o causar da–os al producto. Una esp‡tula podr‡ ser utilizada solamente cuando el producto no estŽ en funcionamiento, evit‡ndose as’, en caso contrario, la posibilidad de graves accidentes. No trate de retirar el filtro con el aparato en funcionamiento.

¥Verifique que el selctor estŽ en la posici’on Ò0Ó (desconectado) antes de enchufar el artifacto.

¥A los efectos de no dan‹r el artefacto o provocar defectos nunca lave las piezas de este producto en el lavavajilas.

CONSERVACIîN Y LIMPIEZA

Limpieza antes del primer uso

Se recomienda lavar el vaso, la tapa y las cuchillas antes de utilizar el producto por primera vez.

Limpieza del cuerpo del producto

Utilice apenas un pa–o humedecido con agua, o agua y jab—n neutro. No utilice productos abrasivos para no perjudicar su aparencia.

EN CASO DE DIFICULTADES

IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS

MOULINEX takes pride in the quality of its products and concerns itself about the personal safety of its consumers. That is why, before using the product for the first

time, please read the recommendations carefully and

follow the instructions about using the product. The perfect functioning of your product, your safety and the safety of others depend on them.

a.Before plugging this product into the wall socket outlet check that the voltage is the same as that indicated on the product (120V, 127V, 220V, or other). If the voltage is not the same, it may cause damage to the product and put you in danger.

b.This product was designed and manufactured only for domestic use. Its continual use for com-mercial and professional purposes may cause overload and damage to the product or personal accidents. Its use under these conditions will render the product warranty null and void.

c.To avoid electrical shocks, never operate the product with hands or on humid or wet surfaces. Do not allow the electrical parts of the product to get wet and never submerge it in water.

d.To avoid accidents, this product should not be operated by children or people who are not familiar with these instructions.

e.Unplug the product from the wall outlet socket when not in use or when cleaning it. Slight carelessness may involuntarily switch the product on and cause accidents.

f.Do not use the product after it has been dropped or if there is any type of malfunctioning. Take it to an Authorised Service Centre Moulinex.

g.Never use this product if the power supply cord or plug is damaged, so as to avoid accidents, like electric shocks, short-circuits, burns or even fire. The purchase and replacement of the power supply cord must be carried out at an Authorised Service Centre Moulinex.

h.Never attempt to dismount or repair the product yourself or let unskilled persons attempt to do so, in order maintain the product warranty and to avoid technical problems. Take it to an Autorised Service Centre Moulinex.

i.Do not allow the power supply cord to hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces, so as not to damage its insulation and cause technical problems and accidents.

j.Never move the product or unplug it by pulling on the power supply cable, so as not to affect the good operation of the product and to aavoid possible accidents.

k.The use of parts and accessories that are not factory originals may cause personal accidents, damage the product and cause it to malfunction, as well as invalidate the product warranty.

l.When plugging in or unplugging the product, make sure that your fingers are not in contact with the plug pins to avoid electric shock.

m.Do not leave the product working or connected to the wall outlet socket whiler you are away from it, even for a few moments, especially when there are children around.

n.Do not connect other equipment to the same wall outlet socket by using adaptors or extensions, to avoid electrical overloads which lead do damage the product components and to possible accidents.

GETTING STARTED

¥The blender jar lid should remain on top of the jar while the appliance is working.

¥Never switch the product on when the jar is empty, and do not remove the lid from the jar until the blade has completely stopped turning.

¥The blade is sharp and should be handled with care to avoid serious accidents.

¥Do not come into contact with the blades or place any utensils (knives, spoons, forks, etc.) in the jar while the appliance is working, to avoid accidents to yourself ou third parties, or cause damage to the product. A spatula may be used only when the product has been switched off at the power outlet and the blades are no longer turning.

¥Check that the speed selector is in position Ò0Ó (switched off) before plugging the appliance in.

¥In order not to damage the appliance or cause defects, never wash the parts of this appliance in the dishwasher.

CONSERVATION AND CLEANING

Cleaning before the first use

The jar, lid, and blade should be washed before using the product for the first time.

Cleaning

The motor base can be washed only with a humid tissue. Do not use abrasive products to avoid damages.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Before plugging the blender, verify that the jar is correctly set onto the motor base. For this, put the jar on top of the motor base and turn it clockwise until it is locked (fig. 1).

The lid also has locking system: put it on top of the jar and turn it clockwise until it is locked (fig. 1)

The speed selector positions are (fig. 2):

ATTENTION

¥Do not fill the blender jar completely and do not

process hot liquids or food at a temperature higher than 80°C. At this temperature the liquid is not voiling but it produces a considerable amount of steam. When blending hot ingredients, do not exceed the 1,250 ml mark on the jar. Always start by using Pulse, at least twice. Then select the desired speed. This procedure is the safest at the moment when steam escapes from the jar. Keep your hands and other exposed parts of the body away from the lid to prevent possible accidents, such as burns.

¥Do not fill the jar over the 1,500 ml mark.

Before taking your product to an Authorised Service Centre Moulinex, check if the problem can be solved following the indicated solution.
