1. Overview

Operating instructions
When using the detector, avoid excessive exposure to external factors: direct sunlight or bright light sources in close proximity, vibration, shocks and jolts, open flame, high humidity, dust or water.
Use only the AC adapter that comes with the detector.
After a long period of storage at a low temperature, the detector has to be kept at a room temperature without packaging for at least 6 hours before use.
Switching on
Insert the rechargeable battery
included in the kit into the special compartment observing the correct polarity. The battery compartment is located under the cover at the bottom of the device.
For operation without a battery, connect the detector to 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz power supply using the power adapter.
Turn on the detector by briefly
pressing the POWER button. After a self-test the detector is ready for operation.

Bring the hopper tray into the
operating condition.
Feed a banknote in the hopper
tray. The detector will start verification automatically.
Take the checked banknote.
4. Useful features
Energy saving
In order to save energy, the detector will automatically shut off if not used for a certain period of time:
• 2 hours at AC
• after 3 minutes on battery
Turning off the audio signal
When the detector is on, press and hold the POWER button until three beeps follow to enable or disable the audio indication.
Forced switching off
By pressing the R button, you can always turn off the detector, if it fails to turn off after pressing the POWER button.
Removing a misfed banknote
To eliminate a jam one needs to press and hold the POWER button until a single beep follows. The motor will switch on for one second to push a jammed banknote to the stacker.
Any jammed banknote can be gently pulled out manually after turning off the detector by briefly pressing the POWER button.
PC connection
To connect Moniron Mobile to a PC for the firmwave update one can use a USB–microUSB cable.
! New banknotes appear in circulation
occasionally. If errors occur during verification of such banknotes, a new version of the software has to be installed by your service provider or on your own.
5. Mobile operation and battery
"Clip" mounting
A special "clip" mounting on the rear panel of the detector is provided, one can use it for easy fixation of the detector on a belt, a variety of straps and so on.
Checking the battery charge level
When the detector is on, press and
hold the POWER button until a single beep. The motor will turn on for one second.
Red LEDs will blink from 1 to 5
times, depending on the battery charge level (1 time – minimum).
! If the battery is almost discharged, red
lights begin to blink rapidly for 30 seconds, then the detector will turn off. One is free to turn off the device by pressing the POWER button with no need to wait for 30 seconds.
! Try to avoid a complete battery discharge

Battery: maintenance and storage
Avoid exposing the detector either to too high or too low temperatures. Peak temperatures may temporarily reduce the operation life of the battery, or interfere with the operation of the detector. Avoid sudden changes in temperature or humidity when using the detector, as condensation inside the device may occur.
! Please make sure to use the battery
included in the kit. For more information about battery replacement or choosing a compatible analogue please contact an authorized Moniron Service Center.

Verification result
Green indication — a genuine
banknote.
Red indication — a banknote is suspicious or unidentified. In addition, a beep sounds in case it is not disabled by the user.
Orange indication — a banknote passed inaccurately or too slowly. It is necessary to repeat the verification procedure.

Turn off the detector by briefly pressing the POWER button.

Warranty
The Manufacturer guarantees proper performance of the device during the warranty period from the date of purchase, provided the user complies with storage and operation requirements specified in this user guide.
Please keep the original packaging, user guide and filled warranty certificate. The warranty is revoked in case the device has been shipped without its original packaging or its operation and maintenance requirements have not been complied with. The Manufacturer is not liable for any defects or failures that occur due to improper transportation, storage or operation as well as due to mechanical damages. In case the device fails to function properly during the warranty period, the owner is entitled to have it repaired at the Service Center. The device is accepted for warranty repair clean, free of dust and dirt. Cleaning services are not included in warranty maintenance and are provided at extra charge.
Warranty maintenance does not include training on the device operation or any functions aimed to ensure its performance (plugging, testing, adjustment, routine maintenance, etc.) which can be performed by the user according to the instructions in this user guide.
The Manufacturer reserves the right to make modifications in the software and engineering design which are not described in this user guide.
Warranty services are not provided if:
• the warranty certificate is missing or incorrectly filled;
• the information in the warranty certificate has been edited;
• the operating instructions specified in this user guide have not been followed;
• the device has mechanical damages;
• there are foreign items or liquid inside the device;
• there is evidence that the device has been unsealed
and opened.
This warranty does not cover accumulators, power adapters, power supply units, connectors, lamps, batteries, belts, fuses, brushes, parts of the device housing or any other parts that have their own limited lifetime. The warranty does not cover defects or failures caused by unstable environmental conditions or power failures. Replaced defective parts
are property of PRO Intellect Technology. Defective
equipment is shipped to the Service Center at the owner’s expense.
