The Xbox Standard AV Cable connects your Xbox console to your TV. It is for use exclusively with the Xbox™ video game system from Microsoft.
IMPORTANT! Before using this product, read the Xbox Instruction Manual for important safety information and health warnings. Please retain both the Xbox Instruction Manual and these instructions for future reference. The limited warranty covering this Xbox Standard AV Cable is contained in the Xbox Instruction Manual.
To connect to a TV
1.Turn off power to both your TV and the Xbox console.
2.Connect the Xbox AV connector to the AV port on the Xbox console.
3.Connect the color-coded connectors on the Xbox Standard AV Cable to the corresponding jacks on the TV: yellow to yellow (video), red to red (right audio), and white to white (left audio). Jacks may be located on the front or back of the TV.
Note For monaural TVs, which have only one audio jack, connect either the right or left audio
connector (red or white) to the audio jack.
4.Select the appropriate video input on your TV to display Xbox games. Common names for video input are Input Select, AUX, Line In, Line, In, Input, Source, Video 1, and EXT, depending upon your TV type. For more information, see your TV manual.
If you need more help
Should you have any problems, do not attempt to take apart, service, or modify the Xbox Standard AV Cable or Xbox console in any way. Doing so could present the risk of serious injury or death from electric shock or fire, and it will void your warranty. Do not take your Xbox video game system or this peripheral to your retailer for repair or service, unless instructed to do so by an Xbox Customer Support representative.

Le câble audio-vidéo standard Xbox permet de relier la console Xbox au téléviseur. Il doit être utilisé exclusivement avec la console de jeu vidéo Xbox™ de Microsoft.

Pour raccorder la console à un téléviseur
1.Mettez le téléviseur et la console Xbox hors tension.
2.Branchez le connecteur audio-vidéo Xbox sur le port audio-vidéo de la console Xbox.
3.Insérez les connecteurs de couleur du câble audio-vidéo standard Xbox dans les prises correspondantes du téléviseur : connecteur jaune pour la prise vidéo, connecteur rouge pour la
prise audio droite et connecteur blanc pour la prise audio gauche. Ces prises peuvent être situées à l’avant ou à l’arrière du téléviseur.
Remarque Si votre téléviseur est monaural, c’est-à-dire équipé d’une seule prise audio, branchez le connecteur audio droit ou gauche (rouge ou blanc) sur la prise audio.
4.Sélectionnez l’entrée vidéo qui permet l’affichage des jeux Xbox sur votre téléviseur. L’entrée vidéo est souvent désignée par les termes Input Select, AUX, Line In, Line, In, Input, Source, Video 1 ou EXT. La dénomination varie selon le type de téléviseur. Pour de plus amples informations, consultez le manuel de votre poste de télévision.

Si une difficulté se présente, n’essayez pas de démonter, de réparer ni de modifier le câble audio-vidéo standard Xbox ou la console Xbox de quelque manière que ce soit. Toute tentative de ce genre risquerait de provoquer des blessures graves ou d’entraîner la mort par électrocution. Votre garantie serait par ailleurs annulée.
