- Das Quickpark-System basiert auf dem Prinzip des Echolots
- Mit Hilfe von Ultraschallsignalen, die an einem Hindernis reflektiert werden, kann der Abstand zwischen Fahrzeug und Hindernis
errechnet werden
- Sender und Empfänger der Signale sind Ultraschallsensoren, die
sich in den Stossfängern befinden
- Ein Hindernis wird durch optische und akustische Warnelemente
angezeigt
- Die optischen Elemente sind im Dachhimmel integriert
- Bei einem Abstand unter 30 cm leuchten die roten LEDs, wobei
gleichzeitig die akustische Warnung, zuerst intermittierend dann
dauernd, einsetzt
- Jedoch kann die Intensität des Echos durch stark schallabsorbierende oder stark schallreflektierende Flächen beeinträchtigt
werden; in solchen Fällen kann der Hindernisabstand nicht
ermittelt werden

- Überwachungsbereich an der Heckpartie: 30 bis 150 cm
- Hinderniserkennung ab 150cm, bei Verringerung des Abstandes
erhöht sich die Wiederholfrequenz des Warntons bis zu einem
Dauerton (Abstand < 30 cm)
- Die Betriebsbereitschaft des Systems wird nach Einschalten der
Zündung und bei eingelegtem Rückwärtsgang (oder bei AutomatikSchaltung der Wählhebelstellung „N“) aktiviert

- The Quickpark system is based on the sonar/echo sounder
principle
- The distance between vehicle and obstacle can be calculated with
the aid of ultrasound signals that are reflected on an obstacle
- Sender and recipient of the signals are ultrasound sensors located in the bumpers
- An obstacle is shown through optical and acoustic warning elements
- The optical elements are integrated into the inside roof lining
- The red LEDs light up at a distance under 30 cm; the acoustic
warning sets in at the same time, intermittent at first and then
non-stop.
- However, the intensity of the echo can be impaired by strong sound
absorbent or strong sound-reflecting surfaces; the obstacle
distance cannot be calculated under such circumstances.

- Surveillance area at the back: 30 to 150 cm
- Obstacle recognition from 150 cm; the repetitive frequency of the
warning tone increases as the distance is reduced until it becomes
a permanent tone (distance < 30 cm)
- The ready status of the system is activated after the ignition is
switched on and the reverse gear is engaged (or selected lever
control "N" with automatic gears)
- Tone signal for functional readiness
