FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS
INTENDED USE — The 3" Wafer-Thin LED gimbal with remote driver box combines high quality light
output and eciency while eliminating the housing for competitive aordability. This innovate waferslim Type IC design allows easy installation for new construction or remodel from below the ceiling
without t he requirem ent of a housing f or insulation . The LED module ma intains at leas t 70% light outp ut
for 50,000 hours. These LED Wafer gimbals are intended for cabinets, bathrooms, kitchens, multi-family,
and light commerical.
CONSTRUCTION — IC rate d driver and xt ure - approved for di rect contac t with insulatio n. Aluminum
die cast o uter fram e. Durable, po wder coat pai nt to prevent r ust. Plenu m rated cabl e connec tor to connec t
from module to remote driver box. Isolated driver integrated inside steel remote box with four 7/8"
knockouts with slots for pryout. Suitable for pulling wires with the 12 cubic-inch wiring compartment
to accommod ate up to (6) 14 gauge insulated con ductors, or (4) 12 gauge insula ted conductor s; making
the Wafer LED Downlights much easier to wire in 2in/2out (plus ground) daisy-chain applications and
contractor friendly.
INSTALLATION — Ideal for shallow ceiling plenum; no housing required. Steel spring clip for easy
installation. 3" cut out template is provided to ensure a correct sized hole is cut into ceiling for proper
install ation of the t rim. Size of h ole shoul d not exceed 3 1/8 in ches for t his produc t. Suit able for in stallat ion
in t-grid an d drop ceiling applic ations. 6" plenum sp ace required for in stallation of rem ote driver box.
OPTICS — Polyca rbonate lens pr ovides even illum ination throug hout the space. Ut ilizes 2700K, 30 00K,
and 400 0K. option c olor tempera ture LEDs. Len s can be tilt up to 20 d egrees and r otate up to 180 degr ees.
ELECTRICAL — Connect directly to 120V power supply via provided UL recognized driver. Driver and
Fixture Wet location approved and IC rated. High ecient driver with power factor > 0.9. Ambient
operati ng temperature: - 40°F (-40°C) t o +104°F (+40°C). Sta ndard input wat tage is 8W, 70 lumens per
watt. Ac tual wat tage may di er by +/- 5% when operat ing at 120V +/- 10%. Replaces 50W i ncandes cent.
