Background
Lexus has determined that a requirement exists for the initiation of a Safety Related Recall Campaign to be conducted affecting a range
of UX200 (MZAA10), RX200t/300 (AGL20), RX350 (GGL25), RX450h (GYL25) vehicles sold in Australia to supply and fit an
additional towbar label to vehicles fitted with an affected genuine accessory towbar.
Problem Description
The involved vehicles could potentially be equipped with a genuine accessory towbar that was supplied without fitment of an ECE55
Type Approval label. The requirement for fitment of an ECE55 Type Approval label was not identified at the time of towbar part sales.
Vehicles equipped with affected towbars are now required to have the label fitted.
