The following operations can be performed simply by carrying the electronic key (including the
card key) on your person, for example in your pocket. The driver should always carry the electronic key.

Unlocking and locking the doors from the outside
1Grip the driver’s door handle to unlock the
door. Grip any passenger door handle to
unlock all the doors.
Make sure to touch the sensor on the back of the
handle.
The doors cannot be unlocked for 3 seconds after
the doors are locked.

Performing the following operations when carrying the electronic key on your person starts the
engine or changes engine switch modes.

To drive using temporary shift range selection, operate the “-” paddle shift switch while the shift
lever in D. Changing the shift range enables the level of engine braking force to be selected. The
shift range can then be selected by operating the “-” and “+” paddle shift switches.

The Blind Spot Monitor is a system that has two functions;

Assists the driver in making the decision when changing lanes

When the switch is set to on, the switch’s indicator illuminates and the buzzer sounds. This

Blind Spot Monitor function:
When a vehicle is detected in a blind spot of
the outside rear view mirrors or approaching
rapidly from behind into a blind spot, the outside rear view mirror indicator on the
detected side will illuminate. If the turn signal
lever is operated toward the detected side,
the outside rear view mirror indicator will
flash.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert function:
When a vehicle approaching from the right
or left at the rear of the vehicle is detected,
both outside rear view mirror indicators will
flash.
When a vehicle approaching from the right or left rear of the vehicle is detected, a buzzer
sounds from behind the right-hand rear seat.
