Supplementary Instruction Manual
1. Summary
This option model adds DC operation to the standard LV5700/ LV5710 model.
For other specifications, please refer to the product specification sheet of the standard
model.

Pin 1 is a GND terminal, and Pin 4 is a power terminal.
The fuse is inside the connector.
Pins 2 and 3 are not in use.

CAUTION !
With DC input, please be careful about connecting to the instrument with (+)
ground since the steel case is (-) ground. The internal circuitry may get damaged,
when positive input makes contact with the steel case, or in case of reverse
connection of DC input.
3. Usage
CAUTION !
3.1 Operating Precaution
Use the DC power supply within the rated voltage range. Do not supply an input
over the specified rating. This could cause the instrument to malfunction. Also, the
unit may not operate properly with input out of rating.
Do not use DC input and AC input at the same time.
3.2 Operating Instruction
Press the DC POWER switch to turn the power on. Press it again to turn off power.
