Si el extremo de la película se extiende más allá de la marca del borde de película, gentilmente empuje el sobrante hacia dentro del cartucho.

4. Cierre la puerta del compartimiento de película y verifique la VENTANA DE LA PELICULA (16), (debe poder leer la información de la película a través de la ventana). No abra la puerta del compartimiento de película después que empiece a tomar fotografías porque arruinará la película.

1 LOADING THE BATTERIES

This camera uses 2 AA-size alkaline batteries.

A-A

1.Load the batteries as shown.

2.Replace both batteries with fresh alkaline batteries when the FLASH-READY LIGHT takes more than 30 seconds to come on.

Battery Tips

•Remember to keep spare batteries with you at all times.

•Read and follow all warnings and instructions supplied by the battery manufacturer.

•Keep batteries away from children.

•Do not try to take apart, recharge or short circuit the batteries, or subject them to high temperature or fire.

•Store batteries in their original packaging prior to use.

2 LOADING THE FILM

For excellent all-around results for indoor and outdoor picture-taking, use ISO 400-speed film. For use in bright daylight, you can use ISO 100or ISO 200-speed film. If in sunlight, turn your back to the sun and load the film in the shade of your body.

1.Push up on the FILM-DOOR LATCH (10)

to open the FILM DOOR (15).

2.Insert the flat end of the film cartridge over the

FILM SPINDLE (9). Push the
other end of the film	OPEN
cartridge down into the
FILM CHAMBER (12) until it fits		FILM TIP HERE
securely into place. Do not
force it into the film chamber.
3. Pull out the film leader until
the tip reaches the film-load
mark. Lay the film flat

If the end of the film extends past the film-load mark, gently push the excess back into the cartridge.

5. Slide the LENS-COVER SWITCH (5)	10	5	1	S

completely open to uncover the LENS (4) and to turn

the FLASH (6) on.

6. Press the SHUTTER BUTTON (2) and turn

the FILM-ADVANCE WHEEL (17) until it locks		10
(the PICTURE COUNTER [1] will start at “S”).	S	1

counter shows “1.” (If the picture
counter does not move, reload the film
into the camera by following these

NOTE: Because of limited space on the picture counter, each dot represents one picture.

3 TAKING PICTURES

This camera features a flash that fires every time you take a picture.

The all-the-time flash feature acts as a fill flash in hazy outdoor pictures or in bright-light conditions where shadows may exist.

2. For a sharp picture, stand	4 ft
at least 4 ft (1.2 m) from your	(1.2 m)
subject.

3.Look through the VIEWFINDER EYEPIECE (20) to see your subject.

4.Hold the camera steady and gently press the SHUTTER BUTTON (2) to take the picture. Be careful not to cover the flash and picture-taking lens with your fingers.

5.Wind the FILM-ADVANCE WHEEL (17)

until it stops. Your camera is ready to take the next picture.

6. Close the lens-cover switch when you finish taking pictures.

4 TAKING FLASH PICTURES

In dim light, such as indoors or outdoors in heavy shade or on dark overcast days, you need flash. This camera features a flash that fires every time you take a picture.

1. Slide the LENS-COVER SWITCH (5) completely open to uncover the LENS (4) and to turn the FLASH (6) on.

2. Take the picture when the FLASH-READY LIGHT (21) glows.

3. Keep the subject within the distance range for the speed of film in your camera. Don’t take pictures beyond the maximum distance or your pictures will be dark.

4.Hold the camera steady and gently press the SHUTTER BUTTON (2) to take the picture. Be careful not to cover the flash and picture-taking lens with your fingers.

IMPORTANT: To prevent battery drain, turn off the flash by closing the lens cover when you are not using it.

5 UNLOADING THE FILM

The film will not advance when you reach the end of the roll. You must rewind the film before you open the film door or you will ruin the film.

1. To rewind the film, slide the

FILM-REWIND LEVER (18) in until

it latches and remains in the locked position.

2.	Unfold the FILM-REWIND HANDLE (7)
	and slowly turn it in the direction
	of the arrow. There should be
	tension when turning the film-
	rewind handle and less tension
	when the film is fully rewound.
3.	Open the FILM DOOR (15) and	OPEN
	remove the film.

NOTE: The film-rewind lever will

unlock when you load another film into the camera.

CARING FOR YOUR CAMERA

1.Protect the camera from dust, moisture, sudden impact, and excessive heat.

CAUTION: Do not use solvents or harsh or abrasive cleaners on the camera body.

2.If the lens appears dirty, breathe on it to form a mist and wipe the surface gently with a soft, lintless cloth or lens-cleaning tissue. Do not apply pressure or you will scratch the lens. Never wipe a dry lens.

CAUTION: Do not use solvents or solutions not designed for cleaning camera lenses. Do not use chemically treated tissues intended for cleaning eyeglasses.

3.Remove the batteries when you store the camera for a long time.

CAUTION: To prevent possible damage and electrical shock, do not try to take apart or repair the camera or flash unit by yourself.

1 COMO CARGAR LAS BATERIAS

2.Cambie las dos baterías por baterías nuevas alcalinas cuando el INDICADOR DE FLASH LISTO demora más de 30 segundos en encenderse.

2 COMO CARGAR LA PELICULA

Para resultados excelentes al tomar fotografías en interiores y exteriores, use película con una sensibilidad de ISO 400. Para uso en días de sol brillante, puede usar película con ISO 100 o 200. Bajo luz solar, colóquese de espaldas al sol y cargue la película a la sombra de su cuerpo.

del cartucho de la película hacia

3. Saque solamente suficiente
película para que el borde de
la película llegue a la marca
del borde de película. Ponga	OPEN

5. Deslice completamente el SEGURO DE

CUBIERTA DEL LENTE (5) para destapar

el LENTE (4) y encender el FLASH (6).

6. Oprima el DISPARADOR (2) y dele vuelta al

AVANZADOR DE PELICULA (17) hasta que trabe (el CONTADOR DE FOTOGRAFIAS [1] empezará

con “S”). Continue haciendo ésto hasta que el contador de fotografías muestre “1”. (Si el contador de fotografías no se mueve, vuelva a cargar la película en la cámara siguiendo estas instrucciones).

NOTA: Como el espacio es limitado en el contador de fotografías, cada representa una fotografía.
