GETTING STARTED WITH YOUR NEW DISHWASHER

CLEANING

SmartWashHE- Recommended cycle that takes the guesswork out of cycle selection due to automatically adjusting sensor decisions!

Pots & Pans - Cleans items having baked-on or hard dried food soils. These items may require soaking or hand scouring.

Normal Wash - Thoroughly cleans normal loads having loosely attached normal soiling.

China Gentle - Cleans your fragile china and glassware. Get it perfectly clean without the hassle of hand washing.

Fast Wash - Cleans lightly soiled glasses and dessert dishes that may need to be re-used at the same event.

Quick Rinse - Allows you to rinse the food soil from a partial load and hold them in the dishwasher until there is a full load.

TurboClean™ - Tackles hard-to-clean dishes in the lower rack, eliminating the need for pre-rinsing or pre-soaking.

Proper loading - Load pots, pans and bowls with the dirty surfaces facing the spray arms. Refer to Use and Care manual for loading patterns.

Detergent - Use fresh powdered detergent for best results. 1Tbsp. will clean most loads. (3 Tbsp. maximum). When using detergent tabs, lay them flat to avoid contact with the cover.

NOTE: If you do not know the hardness of your water supply, use 1Tbsp. (15ml) of detergent. Increase the amount, if necessary, to the least amount required to get your kitchenware clean. Refer to the Use and Care manual for details.

DRYING

To achieve proper drying, always use a liquid rinse agent, even if your detergent contains a rinse agent or drying additive.

The Rinse Aid LED will illuminate to indicate low rinse aid. The symbol will not illuminate if there is enough rinse agent in the dishwasher.

Dry Assist feature - With this option you can raise the temperature of the rinse water and increase the drying time for improved drying.

For improved performance, run hot water at sink for a while before starting a cycle.

You can tell when your unit has completed the cycle in one of the following ways:

Cycle completion signal sounds (if the feature is enabled).

SmartLight goes out.

NOTE: Refer to the Use and Care manual for more information.

SANITIZE LIGHT

When the “Sanitized” LED illuminates on the control panel , it means that the items that were just washed have been sanitized. For more information, refer to the Dishwasher Cycles and Options section of the Use and Care manual. The symbol usually illuminates when you run the Pots and Pans cycle (or the SmartWash™ HE, Normal Wash, and Pots & Pans with the Dry Assist feature activated).

Cycle time may increase or decrease depending on the options you select with the cycle. Refer to the Use and Care manual for details.

Time Assist feature - Reduces the amount of time it takes to complete a cycle while maintaining a high performance level.
