“SOME DOS AND DON’TS ON THE SAFE USE

OF EQUIPMENT”

This equipment has been designed and manufactured to meet international safety standards but, like any electrical equipment, care must be taken if you are to obtain the best results and safety is to be assured.

•Do read the operating instructions before you attempt to use the equipment.

•Do ensure that all electrical connections (including the mains plug, extension leads and interconnections between pieces of equipment) are properly made and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Switch off and withdraw the mains plug when making or changing connections.

•Do consult your dealer if you are ever in doubt about the installation, operation or safety of your equipment.

•Do be careful with glass panels or doors on equipment.

•DON’T continue to operate the equipment if you are in any doubt about it working normally, or if it is damaged in any way—switch off, withdraw the mains plug and consult your dealer.

•DON’T remove any fixed cover as this may expose dangerous voltages.

•DON’T leave equipment switched on when it is unattended unless it is specifically stated that it is designed for unattended operation or has a standby mode.

Switch off using the switch on the equipment and make sure that your family know how to do this.

Special arrangements may need to be made for infirm of handicapped people.

•DON’T use equipment such as personal stereos or radios so that you are distracted from the requirements of traffic safety. It is illegal to watch television whilst driving.

•DON’T listen to headphones at high volume as such use can permanently damage your hearing.

•DON’T obstruct the ventilation of the equipment, for example with curtains or soft furnishing.

Overheating will cause damage and shorten the life of the equipment.

•DON’T use makeshift stands and NEVER fix legs with wood screws—to ensure complete safety always fit the manufacturer’s approved stand or legs with the fixings provided according to the instructions.

•DON’T allow electrical equipment to be exposed to rain or moisture.

ABOVE ALL

–NEVER let anyone, especially children, push anything into holes, slots or any other opening in the case

—this could result in a fatal electrical shock.;

–NEVER guess or take chances with electrical equipment of any kind—it is better to be safe than sorry!

Thank you for purchasing JVC speaker.

Before you begin using the speaker, please read the instructions carefully.

SP-SB101 is not magnetically shielded.

If it is located nearby the TV or monitor, it will probably cause color distortion on the screen.

To avoid this, do not place the speaker nearby the TV or monitor.

7 Caution

Be sure to insert the core of the speaker cord fully into the terminal.

When installing the speaker on the wall;

•Be sure to have it installed on the wall by a qualified personnel.

DO NOT install the speaker on the wall by yourself to avoid unexpected damage from its falling off the wall due to incorrect installation or weakness in wall structure.

•Care must be taken in selecting a location for speaker installation on a wall. Injury to personnel or damage to equipment may result if the speaker installed interfere with daily activities.

L’enceinte SP-SB101 n’est pas blindée magnétiquement. Si elle est placée près d’un téléviseur ou un moniteur, il

7 Attention

Assurez-vous d’insérez complètement l’âme du cordon d’enceinte dans la prise.

Lors de l’installation de l’enceinte sur un mur:

•Assurez-vous de la faire installer par un technicien qualifié. N’INSTALLEZ PAS l’enceinte sur le mur par vous-même pour éviter tout dommage imprévu dû à une chute du mur à cause d’une installation incorrecte ou une faiblesse dans la structure du mur.

•Vous devez aussi faire attention lors de la sélection de l’emplacement d’installation de l’enceinte sur le mur. Des blessures ou des dommages matériels peuvent en résulter si l’enceinte est installée dans un endroit qui interfère avec les activités quotidiennes.

7 Precaución

7 Achtung

Die Adern des Lautsprecherkabels müssen ganz in die Klemme eingesteckt werden.

Bei Anbringen der Lautsprecherbox an der Wand:

•Beauftragen Sie unbedingt einen qualifizierten Monteur mit der Wandmontage.

Versuchen Sie AUF KEINEN FALL, die Lautsprecherbox selbst an der Wand zu montieren, da eine unsachgemäße Installation oder ein unzureichendes Tragevermögen der

Wand dazu führen können, dass die Lautsprecherbox herunterfällt, beschädigt wird und Verletzungen verursacht.

•Bei der Auswahl der Montageposition der Lautsprecherbox an einer Wand ist besondere Sorgfalt geboten. Falls die Lautsprecherbox so montiert wird, dass vorbeigehende Personen dagegen stoßen können, besteht die Gefahr von

Verletzungen und einer Beschädigung der Box.

7 Let op

Steek de kern van het luidsprekersnoer beslist geheel en goed in de aansluiting.

Indien u de luidspreker aan een muur wilt ophangen:

•Laat de luidspreker beslist door een erkend vakman installeren.

Installeer de luidspreker NIET zelf aan een muur zodat beschadiging of ongelukken door het vallen van de muur vanwege een onjuiste bevestiging of zwakke muur wordt voorkomen.

•Kies een goed plaats voor het ophangen aan een muur. Letsel of beschadiging kan worden veroorzaakt indien de luidspreker ergens hangt waar het de dagelijkse bezigheden stoort.
