
Assembly Instructions
Infeed and Outfeed Tables (Stock No. 98-1601)
For use with Sander models 16-32 and 16-32Plus
NOTE: Sander should be bolted to a stand or work table when using the infeed and outfeed tables.
Maximum working load of a table is 35 pounds .
Remove the items from the packaging and
inspect all par ts.
Tools required: 7/16” and 9/16” wrenches
Refer to Figure 1.
1. Install a bracket (1) to the two holes in the
Sander base using two hex c ap screws (2),
two flat washers (3) and two flanged lock
nuts (4). The brac k et should be flush against
the base of the machine. Make sure the
slotted holes for mounting the table are
facing up, as shown in Fi gure 1. Tighten t he
flanged lock nuts (4) against the inside of
the base.

2. Place a table (5) over the bracket (1) and
insert four carriage bolts (6), four flat
washers (7) and four hex nuts (8). Finger
tighten only.
3. Position the t able level with or slight ly below
the conveyor surface for proper support of
stock. To check position, place a straightedge on one side of the conveyor bed under
the sanding drum and extending out over
the table. See Figure 2. Lower the sanding
drum to securely hold the straightedge in
place. Raise the table until the tabl e is even
with or slight ly below the conveyor surf ace.
Tighten hex nuts (8). Repeat this procedure
for other side of t able.
4. Install the other bracket and table to the
opposite side of the machine in the same
manner.

Troubleshooting
If after adjusting the infeed and outf eed tables, they are still too high for proper operation, the bracket may
not be “set.” Loosen sli ghtl y the flanged loc k nut s (4) and firmly push down on the br acket . Re-tight en the
flanged lock nuts.
If the stock bei ng sanded is bowed, warped or otherwise inconsistent, be sure tables are lower than t he
conveyor surf ac e.
If stock slips on conveyor belt, the tables may be positioned too high. Lower tables to allow stock to
remain in cont act with the conveyor belt.
