This manual has been prepared f or the owner and o perators of a Dov etail Jig. It s purpose, aside fr om machine operat ion, is to prom ote saf ety through the u se of ac cepted correc t operati ng and mai ntenance procedures. Com pletely read t he safety and m aintenance instruc tions before oper ating or serv icing the machine. To obt ain maximum life and efficiency from your Jig, and to aid in using the m achine safely, read this manual thoroughly and follow instructi ons carefully.

The WMH Tool Group (including JET, Performax, Wilton and Powerm atic brands) makes every eff or t t o assure that it s produc ts meet high quality and durabili ty standards and warrants to the or iginal retail consumer/purc haser of our products that each pr oduc t be free from defects in materials and workm anshi p as follow: 1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY ON ALL PRODUCTS UNLESS SPECIFIED OTHERWISE. This Warranty does not apply to defects due directly or indirectly to misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, normal wear-and-tear, repair or alterations outside our facilities, or to a lack of mai ntenance.
THE WMH TOOL GROUP LIMITS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES TO THE PERIOD SPECIFIED ABOVE, FROM THE DATE THE PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED AT RETAIL. EXCEPT AS STATED HEREIN, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTIBILITY AND FITNESS ARE EXCLUDED. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG THE IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THE WMH TOOL GROUP SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR DEATH, INJURIES TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY, OR FOR INCIDENTAL, CONTINGENT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF OUR PRODUCTS. To take advantage of t hi s warranty, the product or part must be returned for examination, postage prepaid, to an Authorized Repair Station desi gnated by our office. Proof of purchase date and an explanati on of the complaint must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection discloses a defect, we will either repair or replace the product, or ref und the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide a repair or r eplac em ent, if you ar e willing to accept a refund. We will return r epair ed pr oduc t or replacement at WMH Tool G r oup’s expense, but if it is determi ned there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from c auses not within the scope of WMH Tool Group’s warranty, t hen the user must bear the cost of storing and r eturning the product. This warranty gives you specific legal right s; y ou m ay al so have other rights which vary from state to state.
The WMH Tool Group sell s thr ough distr ibutors only. Members of the WMH Tool Group r eserve the right to effect at any time, without prior notice, those alterations to parts, fit tings, and accessory equipm ent which they may deem necessary f or any r eason what s oever.

WARNING
1. Read and understand th e entire owner’s manual before attempting assembly or operation.
2. This Dovetail Jig is design ed and in t end ed for use by properly trained and experienced
personnel only. If you are not familiar with the proper and safe operation of a Dovetail Jig, do not use until proper t rain ing and knowledge have been obtained.
3. KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE and in working order.
4. REMOVE ADJUSTING KEYS AND WRENCHES. Form habit of checking to see that keys and adjusting wrenche s are removed from tool before t urning it on.
5. KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN. Cluttered areas and benches invite accident s.
6. DON’T USE IN DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENT. Don’t use power tools in dam p or wet locations, or expose them to rai n. Keep work area well lighted.
7. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY. All visitors should be kept safe distance fr om work area.
8. MAKE WORKSHOP KID PROOF with padlocks, master switches, or by removing starter keys.
9. DON’T FORCE TOOL. It will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
10. US E RIG HT TOOL. Don’t force tool or attac hm ent t o do a job for whic h it was not desi gned.
11. WEAR PROPER APPAREL. Do not wear loose cl othing, gloves, neckti es, ri ngs, br ac elets, or other jewelry which may get caught in moving parts. Nonslip footwear is recommended. Wear prot ective hair covering to contain long hair.
12. ALWAYS USE SAFETY GLASSES. Also use face or dust mask if cutting operation is dusty. Everyday eyeglasses only have impact resistant lenses, they are NOT safety gl asses.
13. S E CURE WORK. Use clamps or a vise to hold work when practical. It’s safer than using your hand and it frees both hands to operat e tool.
14. DON’T OVERREACH. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
15. M A INTAIN TOOLS WITH CARE. Keep tools sharp and clean for best and safest performance. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
16. DISCONNECT TOOLS before servi c ing; when changing accessories, such as blades, bits, cutt er s, and the like.
17. RE DUCE THE RISK OF UNINTENTIONAL STARTING. Make sure switch i s in off posi tion before plugging in.
18. US E RE COMM E NDE D ACCESSORIES. Consult the owner’s manual for recommended accessories. The use of improper accessories may cause risk of injury to per sons.
19. NEVER STAND ON TOOL. Serious injury could occur if the tool is tipped or if the cutting t ool is unintentionally contacted.
20. CHE CK DA M AGE D PARTS. Before further use of the tool, a guard or ot her par t t hat is damaged should be careful ly c hec k ed to det ermine that it will operate properly and perform its intended f unc tion – check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, m ounting, and any other conditions that may affect its operati on. A guard or other part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced.
21. DIRECTION OF FEED. Feed work into a blade or c utt er agai nst the direction of rotation of the blade or cutter only.
22. NEVER LEAVE TOOL RUNNING UNATTENDED. TURN POWER OFF. Don’t leave tool until it comes to a complete stop.
23. S ome dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and other construc tion activities contains chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:
Lead from lead based paint
crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products, and
arsenic and chromium from chemically-tr eated lumber.
24. Y our r isk from those exposures vari es, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as those du st m asks that ar e specifically designed t o filter out microscopi c parti cl es
25. Do not operate tool while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any medication.
