•

• Electrical requirements: 1/2 HP motor. Should be only

operated on 120 volt, 60Hz, AC. A 15 amp fuse or

circuit breaker should be used in conjunction with this

disposer.

• Unit can be permanently connected with a

non-metallic sheathed cable or comparable flexible

conduit. Or, if local codes allow, it can be connected

with a plug-in type power cord (16 gage SJT or SPT-3).

• GC460 : The on-off switch (not included) should be in

a convenient location between the disposer and the

power source.

•GB460 : Has the auto-start feature (does NOT require a external switch).

•Fits any single or double, stainless steel, porcelain

enamel or cast sink up to 3/4" thick and with a 3 1/2" to		8 1/2"
4" opening.

•The disposer should be connected to a drain line lower than the disposer outlet.

•Center line of waste line should be lower than

• A 1 1/2" to 2" drain line is recommended.

Kits:

•A600 : Used to attach a 1/2" drain hose to the disposer.

•A607 : Used if the dishwasher drain hose is larger than 1/2" I.D. Also, where a drain air gap is used.

•A601 : Jenn-Air power cord.

•A602 : "Do-It-Yourself" kit containing all parts generally required to install a Jenn-Air waste disposer using a plug in power cord (cord included).
