1.3Intendeduse

Thismobilitydevicewasdesignedforpersonswhoseability towalkisimpaired,butwhoarestillintermsoftheir eyesightandphysicallyandmentallyabletooperatean electricmobilitydevice.

1.4Indications

Theuseofthispowerwheelchairisrecommendedforthe followingindications:
Theinabilityoragreatlyrestrictedabilitytowalkwithin thescopeofthebasicrequirementtobeabletomove withinone’ sownfourwalls.
Theneedtoleavethedwellingplaceinordertoget somefreshairduringashortwalkortoreachthose placesgenerallytobefoundatclosedistancetothe dwellingandwhereeverydaybusinessiscarriedout.
Provisionofpowerwheelchairsforinteriorandexterior areasisadvisableiftheuseofhand-operatedwheelchairsis nolongerpossibleonaccountofthedisability ,yetproper operationofanelectromotivedriveunitisstillpracticable.
Contraindications
Therearenocontraindicationsknown.
1.5Typeclassication
ThisvehiclehasbeenclassiedaccordingtoEN12184asa classBmobilityproduct(forindoorandoutdoorareas).It isthereforecompactandagileenoughforindoorareas,but alsoabletoovercomemanyobstaclesinoutdoorareas.

1.6Regulations

ThevehiclewassuccessfullytestedaccordingtoGerman andinternationalstandardsastoitssafety.Itsatises therequirementsaccordingtoRoHS2011/65/EU,REACH 1907/2006/ECandDINEN12184includingEN1021-2and ISO7176–14.Itwasalsotestedsuccessfullyaccordingto EN60529IPX4astoitsresistancetospraywater,andis thereforewellsuitedforweatherconditionssuchastypical Europeanweatherconditions.Whenequippedwithan appropriatelightingsystem,thevehicleissuitableforuse onpublicroads.

1.7Usability

Onlyuseamobilitydevicewhenitisinperfectworking order .Otherwise,youmightputyourselfandothersatrisk.

1.8Warranty

Thetermsandconditionsofthewarrantyarepartofthe generaltermsandconditionsparticulartotheindividual countriesinwhichthisproductissold.

1.9Servicelife

Weestimateaservicelifeofveyearsforthisproduct, provideditisusedinstrictaccordancewiththeintended useassetoutinthisdocumentandallmaintenanceand servicerequirementsaremet.Theestimatedservicelifecan beexceedediftheproductiscarefullyusedandproperly maintained,andprovidedtechnicalandscienticadvances donotresultintechnicallimitations.Theservicelifecan alsobeconsiderablyreducedbyextremeorincorrectusage. Thefactthatweestimateaservicelifeforthisproductdoes notconstituteanadditionalwarranty.

Aposturebeltisanoptionwhichcaneitherbexedto themobilitydeviceex-worksorcanberetrottedbyyour specialistprovider .Ifyourmobilitydeviceisttedwitha posturebelt,yourspecialistproviderwillhaveinformedyou aboutttingandusage.
Theposturebeltisusedtohelpthemobilitydeviceuser keepanoptimumseatingposition.Correctuseofthe beltassiststheuserinsittingsecurely,comfortablyand well-positionedinthemobilitydevice,especiallyforsuch userswhodonothavesuchagoodsenseofbalancewhile sitting.
