B. Spree GT wheelchairs equipped with vent trays may be longer than 1220 mm, exceeding the ADA definition of a common wheelchair and the

minimum length requirements of lifts on public vehicles, and may therefore present particular difficulties accessing some vehicles.

C. Total wheelchair mass = 42.0 lb (19.0 kg) – including front riggings, anti-tips, tie-down brackets. Does not include wheel locks, wheelchair-

anchored pelvic belt, and seating.

D. Average lateral dummy displacement = approximately 0.51" (13 mm). E. Overall Score = 17.

F. i . The Spree GT was sized to accommodate a 170 lb. test dummy. (Medium Frame, 18" W x 18D", 60 degree front rigging, 20" composite

wheels, 24" urethane tires, aluminum seat pan cushion, Invacare

Personal Back™10 seat system, 6x2" semi-pneumatic casters.)

ii. The Spree GT tested was tied down using four tie-down brackets - 2 brackets located near the front of the seat frame and 2 brackets located on the rear of base frame.

iii. The Spree GT was tested with a 170 lb. test dummy. iv. The Spree GT tested used a wheelchair-anchored pelvic belt and vehicle-anchored shoulder belt.

v. The Spree GT tested complies with the performance requirements of ANSI/RESNA W/C19 sec 5.3. G. For all types of vehicles, the Spree GT requires four SAE J2249-compliant tie-down strap assemblies for effective securement. H. When the TRO or TRBKTS option is selected, the Spree GT provides a location for anchoring of an Invacare-provided pelvic belt.

This belt has been tested in accordance with ANSI/RESNA W/C19. I. The wheelchair-anchored pelvic belt is supplied by Invacare.

Redesigned tilt lock-out stop may be used to limit the tilt range on the low end, high end or both.

• The Spree GT is ready and easy to grow with the child and is ready for safe

transportation*.

• The seat frame has 4" of depth adjustability available in two ranges:12"-16" and 15"-19".

Adjusting depth is literally a snap with Invacare’s innovative Quick Set

washers.

• The seat frame also has 4" of width adjustability in two ranges: 12"-16" and 14"-18", which

is made simple with the Spree GT’s unique crossbrace design.

• Adjustable rigidizing handlebar option can be adjusted for caregiver’s ease of use.

• The Transport Ready Option (TRO)** is a no charge option on the Spree GT and meets

today’s ANSI/RESNA WC19 Frontal Impact Standards.

*Invacare recommends that wheelchair users NOT be transported in vehicles of any kind while in

wheelchairs. As of this date, the Department of Transportation has not approved any tie-down systems for transportation of a user while in a wheelchair in a moving vehicle of any type.

**The TRO Transport Ready Option pick on the Spree GT order form includes transport brackets, a

wheelchair-anchored pelvic belt and transport locking pins. The Personal Back

™

10 back cushion, Infinity®seat cushion and seat pan must also be purchased with this option at an additional charge. No seating system is included in the base price of the wheelchair .
