3.1ServiceInterval

Unlessotherwisestatedinlocalrequirements,servicemust beperformedatleastevery12monthsandaccordingto theServiceInspectionChecklist.Whenperformingannual orregularservice,allpartsdesignedtocarryloadmust be,asaminimum,testedwithmaximumload.Allsafety featuresmustbecheckedaccordingtoISO10535:2006 AnnexB.

3.1.1LOLERStatement

TheUKHealthandSafetyExecutive’sLiftingOperations andLiftingEquipmentRegulations1998,requireany equipmentthatisusedintheworkplacetoliftaloadbe subjecttosafetyinspectiononasixmonthlybasis.Please refertotheHSEwebsiteforguidancewww.hse.gov .uk.
Thepersonresponsiblefortheequipmentmustensure adherencetoLOLERregulations.

3.2Tighteningtorques

Toresettheservicelightafteraservicehasbeen performed:
1.Locatethehandcontrol.
2.PressandholdtheUPbuttonandtheDOWNbutton atthesametimeforveseconds.
3.Youwillhearasoundwhentheservicelighthasbeen reset.
Theservicelightisnowresettoindicateaservice requirementaftera12monthperiodor8000cycles.
Iftheservicelightisrequiredtobesetforaperiodshorter than12months,aspecialhandsetandfurtherinstructions arerequired.ContactInvacaretoorderthishandsetand instructions.
