Qualityisfundamentaltothecompany’soperation,working withinthedisciplinesofISO13485.
Thevehiclewassuccessfullytestedaccordingtointernational standardsastoitssafety .Itsatisestherequirements accordingtoRoHS2011/65/EU,REACH1907/2006/EC,EN 12184includingatestforammability(EN1021-2orISO 8191–2)andISO7176–14.Itwasalsotestedsuccessfully accordingtoEN60529IPX4astoitsresistancetospray water ,andisthereforewellsuitedforweatherconditions suchastypicalEuropeanweatherconditions.
1.4Typeclassication
ThisvehiclehasbeenclassiedaccordingtoEN12184asa classBmobilityproduct(forindoorandoutdoorareas).It isthereforecompactandagileenoughforindoorareas,but alsoabletonegotiatesomeoutdoorobstacles.

1.5Intendeduse

Themobilitydeviceispropelledelectricallyandshouldonly beusedforindependentorassistedtransportofadisabled personwithmobilitydifculties.Thispowerwheelchairis intendedtoprovidemobilitytopersonsages10andup (children,adolescentsandadults)withaweightcapacity of80&125kgdependingontheseatwidth.Thispower wheelchairisdesignedforpersonswhoseabilitytowalkis impaired,butwhoarestillintermsoftheireyesightand physicallyandmentallyabletooperateanelectricmobility device.Thepowerwheelchairshouldonlybeusedonlevel
groundandaccessibleterrain,aswellasindoorsoroutdoors withlimitedcrossingcapacities.
Thismobilitydeviceneedstobesubscribedandt toyourspecichealthcondition.

Anyotherorincorrectusecouldleadto hazardoussituations.

1.6Indications

Theuseofthispowerwheelchairisrecommendedforthe followingindications:
Theinabilityoragreatlyrestrictedabilitytowalkwithin thescopeofthebasicrequirementtobeabletomove withinone’ sownfourwalls.

Theneedtoleavethedwellingplaceinordertoget somefreshairduringashortwalkortoreachthose placesgenerallytobefoundatclosedistancetothe dwellingandwhereeverydaybusinessiscarriedout.
Provisionofpowerwheelchairsforinteriorandexterior areasisadvisableiftheuseofhand-operatedwheelchairsis nolongerpossibleonaccountofthedisability,yetproper operationofanelectromotivedriveunitisstillpracticable.
Contraindications
Therearenocontraindicationsknown.

1.7Usability

Onlyuseamobilitydevicewhenitisinperfectworking order .Otherwise,youmightputyourselfandothersatrisk.
Thefollowinglistdoesnotclaimtobeexhaustive.Itisonly intendedtoshowsomeofthesituationsthatcouldaffect theusabilityofyourmobilitydevice.

Orifyouhavethefeelingthatsomethingiswrongwith yourmobilitydevice.

1.8Warranty

Invacareguaranteesthattheirwheelchairsarefreefrom defectsandarefullyfunctional.Thewarrantycoversall faultsanddefectswhichareveriablyattributabletofaulty construction,substandardmaterialsorpoorworkmanship. Warrantyclaimsagainstthemanufacturermayonlybemade bythedistributorandnotbytheuseroftheproduct.
Thewarrantydoesnotcovernormalwearandtear ,the consequencesofimproperhandlingordamage,poor maintenanceandincorrectassemblyorcommissioning bythepurchaserorathirdpersonorfaultswhichare attributabletocircumstancesbeyondourcontrol.Wearing partsarenotcoveredbytheguarantee.Thewarrantyis voidedifmodicationsaremadetotheproductwhichwere notauthorizedandnotperformedbythespecialistdealer orifinappropriateaccessoriesorsparepartsareused. Thewarrantydoesnotcoverconsequentialcostsarising

Thetermofthewarrantyis24months.

2.3Safetyinformationonelectromagnetic interference

Thiselectricvehiclewassuccessfullytestedinaccordance withInternationalstandardsastoitscompliancewith ElectromagneticInterference(EMI)regulations.However, electromagneticelds,suchasthosegeneratedbyradioand televisiontransmitters,andcellularphonescaninuencethe functionsofelectricvehicles.Also,theelectronicsusedin ourvehiclescangeneratealowlevelofelectromagnetic interference,whichhoweverwillremainwithinthetolerance permittedbylaw.Forthesereasonsweaskyoutoplease observethefollowingprecautions:

–Donotswitchonoroperateportable
transceiversorcommunicationdevices(suchas radiotransceiversorcellularphones)whenthe vehicleisswitchedon.

unintentionallyorthebrakesarereleased, switchitoffimmediately.
–Addingelectricalaccessoriesandother

uprightpositionbeforeascendingslopes.We recommendthatyoupositiontheseatbackrest slightlytotherearbeforedescendingslopes.
–Onlyeverdrivedownhillatamaximumof2/3
ofthetopspeed.Avoidabruptbrakingor acceleratingongradients.
–Ifatallpossible,avoiddrivingonwet,slippery ,
