I-Transiaisahoistwhichcoverstheneedforliftingormovinga
personwithdisabilitiesinthehomecaresector,nursinghomes,
rehabilitationcentres,andinstitutions.

Thefreestandingrailsystemisaportablerailsystemwhichcanbeset
upinmanylocations*andrequiresnomountingonwalls,ceilingor
floors.Thefreestandingrailsystemislengthandheightadjustable.

useinmoistorwetareas.

1.3ConditionsforUse

TheuseoftheI-Transiahoistissubjecttothefollowing:

•TheI-Transiashouldonlybeusedbytrainedpersonnel.

•Thesafeworkingload(SWL),205kg(450lbs)or250kg(550

lbs),mustnotbeexceeded.Referto2.3LoadLimits,page2.

•TheinstructionofferedbyInvacaretoallcustomergroupsin

connectionwiththepurchaseofahoisthasbeenreceived.

•Thecaregiverpaysattentiontothewell-beingoftheuserwhen

usingthehoist.

lowestloadlimitdeterminesthemaximumloadlimitfortheentire
system.

Thismaximumloadlimitmustnotbeexceeded.

Pleasenotethatthemaxloadmaychangewhendifferentcomponents
areused,suchashangerbars,liftingslings,etc.

Thetopbracketmustbeflushwiththemark\Gonthe
verticalpole.

Itwillbenecessarytotiltthetopbracketandrailmodule
andverticalpoletoassemblethem.
