CHILD SAFETY SEAT FIT GUIDE
This guide is designed to help you select and properly install a child safety seat compatible with your 2006-2008
Infiniti QX56. To compile this list, our safety engineers fitted numerous Child Restraint Systems (CRS), including
infant restraints, forward-facing child seats, booster seats and their combinations.
If properly installed, the CRS noted below have proven to fit securely in the rear seating locations using either the
LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) System, where available, or the vehicle's seatbelt. In the 3rd row,
only the center seating position is equipped with a tether anchorage. Child restraints that utilize top tethers can only
be installed in this seating position. Do not install rear-facing child seats in the 3rd row. Always refer to the
instructions provided with the CRS and your vehicle’s Owner’s Manual when installing. You may also find the
accompanying General Installation Tips helpful.

• In accordance with Infiniti’s commitment to safety, customers should be aware that child safety seats may be subject to recall by the manufacturer.
Infiniti encourages all customers to check the manufacturer website and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website for
current recall information prior to purchasing a child safety seat.
• Please keep in mind that air bags are a supplemental restraint system and always must be used in conjunction with a seat belt.
• A rear-facing child restraint must never be placed in the front-passenger seat. An inflating supplemental air bag could seriously injure or kill your child.
• All children 12 and under should ride in the rear seat properly secured in child restraints, booster seats, or seat belts, according to their size.
