INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: REMOVAL OF GRIP TAPE:
1) Dry and clean application surface
and wipe with isopropyl alcohol.
2) If cutting from roll stock, cut to
fit using a scissors or sharp blade.
3) Make sure the surface temperature
is above 65° F (18° C)for adhesive to bond.
4) Peel off 3”- 4” of liner and press on to surface.
Once that is secured, peel off the remainder of
the liner and press firmly to the surface using a
roller to smooth out bubbles. Marine Grip may
be lifted and repositioned if necessary.
For best adhesion, allow MARINE GRIP to bond to
the surface for 24 hours prior to use (maximum
adhesion achieved after 72 hours).
HARKEN MARINE GRIP cleans easily with
household or boat cleaners. Avoid contact
with petroleum products. Always replace
worn or damaged Marine Grip.

1) Peel one corner while pulling toward
the opposite corner.
2) Use a metal scraper or putty knife to
slide under the tape as it is pulled back.
REMOVAL OF ADHESIVE:
1) Apply an adhesive remover such as “Goof Off”
or “Goo Gone” on the surface for one hour.
2) Use a metal scraper or putty knife to scrap
off adhesive.
3) Wipe off any residue with a rag or paper towel.
4) Clean the surface with household cleaner or
dishwashing detergent.
5) Rinse with fresh water.
