COLOR STANDARDS FOR ISM

Instructions for use:

1.Turn the meter on by pressing ON/OFF. When the LCD displays “---”, it is ready.

2.Fill a cuvet up to 1.5 cm (3/4”) below the rim with 10 ml of water, and replace the cap.

3.Wipe the cuvet with a clean tissue to remove condensation and finger marks.

4.Place the cuvet into the holder and ensure that the notch on the cap is positioned securely into the groove.

5.Press ZERO and “SIP” will appear on the display. Wait for a few seconds and the display will show “-0.0-”. Now the meter is zeroed and ready for measurement.

6.Remove the cuvet.

7.Insert the standard into the holder. Press the “READ” key and “SIP” will appear in the display during measurement.

8.The reading should correspond within the stated tolerance limits.

Notes:

1.Checks should be made indoors under normal daylight or artificial lighting conditions. Avoid working in direct sunlight or directly under powerful artificial light. Checks should be carried out at a temperature of 20-25°C.

2.Replace standards in the case after use. Store under cool conditions and out of sunlight. Do not use the standards after the stated expiry date.

3.Hanna color standards are for use with Hanna:

HI 93701, HI 93710, HI 93711 ISM instruments only. Test values may not correspond with other photometers.
