GENERAL DESCRIPTION

C9800 Reactor is a Hanna Instruments thermo-reactor with a metal dry-block and a metal case construction.

It allows to warm up to 25 samples, contained into 16 mm-diameter tubes, at 105 or 150 ºC.

The reactor is equipped with led indicators, to inform when power is on and heating is operating, and a 120 minutes timer, very useful in timed digestion procedures.

It is possible to select time intervals between 0 and 120 minutes and, during these intervals, temperature in the heater is maintained constant. At the end of the selected interval an acoustic alarm will sound and the heater will automatically shut off.

The reactor is also provided with a thermal fuse that prevents from overheating, by shutting down the heater.

Two models are available:

C9800-01 runs with 115 VAC mains line

C9800-02 runs with 230 VAC mains line.
