Electrical safeguards
•The unit must be connected to a supply voltage corresponding to the electrical rating shown on the unit.
•Unplug the unit before moving it, or when it is not in use for an extended period of time.
•Do not operate with a damaged supply cord or plug. Do not alter the attachment plug. The plug is configured for the appropriate electrical supply.
•Do not overload electrical outlets beyond their capacity; fire or electrical shock could result.
•The unit is intended for indoor use only.
•Never push objects through the cabinet slots. Do not spill liquid of any kind on this product.
•Close supervision is required when this product is used near children.
General safeguards
•Use the unit only for its intended purposes of laminating documents.
•Do not place anything in the throat opening of the laminator other than pouches/documents.
•Place unit on a secure, stable work area to prevent the unit from falling and possibly causing personal injury and damage to the unit.
•Follow all warnings and instructions.
•The socket outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
•Do not attempt single side lamination, this will destroy the laminator.
•Do not block the vent slots, this will cause the laminator to overheat.

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this GBC® Pouch Laminator. The laminator heats up to operating temperature quickly and retains its heat so you can laminate your documents without waiting. The laminator also provides cold lamination for pressure sensitive adhesive lamination pouches. The laminator provides audible and visual indication that it is ready to laminate. The laminator goes into a standby mode after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Please take a little time to study these instructions to ensure you get the best out of your machine. Your new laminator may emit a slight odour during the initial operation. It is normal and will diminish after a few hours of operation.
Operation
1 Connect power cord to appropriate power source.
2Push the power button to turn on the machine. The indicator will glow (fig. 1). (For cold lamination, push the power button to turn on the machine. Skip Step 3)
3Select the button for the appropriate pouch gauge thickness and material you are laminating. The indicator glows (fig. 2).
4Position the document to be laminated into a GBC laminating pouch, so that the document is aligned to the folded sealed edge and the right and left borders are equal (fig. 3).
5When the ready light glows (fig. 2), insert the pouch and its contents straight into the machine, leading with the folded edge.
6The laminated item will automatically exit the rear of the machine. After the pouch has stopped moving, immediately place it on a flat surface to cool for one minute before handling (fig. 4).
7If you have finished laminating, push the power button to turn off the machine (fig. 1).

Guarantee
Operation of this machine is guaranteed for two years from thedate of purchase, subject to normal use. Within the guarantee period, ACCO Brands Europe will at its own discretion either repair or replace the defective machine free of charge. Release Button Feature
This machine is equipped with a release button that you can use to remove a misfed pouch during lamination, if necessary.
•To retrieve a pouch once fed into the machine, firmly press the release button, grasp the pouch, and pull the pouch towards you out of the laminator. (fig 5.)
•Clean the rollers as described in the Cleaning Section below.
•The laminator will be ready to use again within seconds.
•DO NOT REUSE THE SAME POUCH
•Load a new pouch and review the Operation section of this manual.
Cleaning
mCaution: Unplug this product before cleaning the exterior. Wipe exterior only with a damp cloth and do not use detergents or solvents. Your laminator came with a cleaning card that is to be used after every laminating session, prior to shutting off the machine. Adhesive may exit the pouch and stick to the rollers while laminating or if a jam occurs. The cleaning card removes this residue, keeping your machine in proper working order and extending its life.
1 Run the cleaning sheet through the machine two or three times. 2 Turn off the machine when finished laminating and cleaning.
Laminating Tips
•DO NOT LAMINATE AN EMPTY POUCH.
•Never insert the loose end of the pouch first into the machine. This could cause the machine to jam.
•Before laminating important or unique documents, always run a test pouch through the laminator using a similar type document
•Do not attempt to do single sided lamination. This will destroy the laminator
•As soon as hot lamination is completed, remove the lamination from the rear of the machine and place on a cool flat surface for cooling to prevent the pouch from curling
•Do not block the vent slots, this will cause the laminator to overheat
•Do not cut pouches prior to lamination.

Consignes de sécurité électrique

Introduction
Merci d’avoir acheté cette plastifieuse à pochettes GBC®. Elle atteint rapidement la température de fonctionnement et conserve efficacement la chaleur, vous permettant ainsi de plastifier vos documents sans attendre. Elle se prête également à la plastification à froid à l’aide de pochettes à adhésif sensible à la pression. La plastifieuse est équipée de signaux lumineux et sonore pour indiquer quand elle est prête à l'emploi. Après 30 minutes d’inutilisation, elle se met en veille.
Veuillez consacrer quelques instants à la lecture de ces instructions pour tirer le maximum de votre appareil. Il est possible que votre plastifieuse neuve émette une légère odeur lors de sa première utilisation.
Cette odeur est normale et s’atténuera après quelques heures de fonctionnement.
Fonctionnement
1 Branchez le cordon d’alimentation à une prise secteur appropriée.
2Appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation pour mettre l’appareil sous tension. Le voyant lumineux s’allume (fig. 1). (Pour la plastification à froid, appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation afin de mettre l’appareil sous tension, puis passez directement à l’étape 4.)
3Sélectionnez le bouton correspondant à l’épaisseur de pochette appropriée. Le voyant lumineux est allumé (fig. 2).
4Placez votre document dans une pochette à plastifier GBC en veillant à bien l’aligner contre le bord collé de la pochette et à le centrer parfaitement sur la largeur (fig. 3).
5Lorsque le voyant « prêt à l’emploi » s’allume (fig. 4) et que l’appareil émet un bip sonore, insérez la pochette et son contenu directement dans la plastifieuse, le bord collé en premier.
6Le document plastifié sort automatiquement à l’arrière de l’appareil. Une fois que le document plastifié s’est immobilisé, placez-le sur une surface plate pour le laisser refroidir pendant une minute avant de le manipuler (fig. 5).
7Vous pouvez sélectionner une épaisseur de pochette différente. En cas de diminution de l’épaisseur, la plastifieuse doit refroidir jusqu’à la température correspondante avant de lancer la plastification. Le voyant lumineux « prêt à l’emploi » s’allume dès que vous pouvez utiliser la plastifieuse.
8Lorsque vous avez fini la plastification, éteignez l’appareil à l’aide du bouton d’alimentation (fig. 1).
mREMARQUE : NE PAS INSÉRER DE POCHETTE VIDE DANS LA MACHINE.

Bouton de dégagement
Cet appareil est doté d’un bouton de dégagement permettant de retirer une pochette mal insérée en cours de plastification s’il y a lieu.
•Pour ressortir une pochette après l’avoir alimentée dans l'appareil, appuyez fermement sur le bouton de dégagement, saisissez la pochette et retirez-la de l’appareil en la tirant vers vous (fig. 5).
•Nettoyez les rouleaux selon la description donnée dans la section Nettoyage ci-dessous.
•La plastifieuse sera de nouveau prête à l’emploi en quelques secondes.
•N'UTILISEZ PAS DEUX FOIS LA MÊME POCHETTE.
•Placez le document dans une nouvelle pochette et consultez la section Fonctionnement de ce manuel.
Nettoyage
mAvertissement : Débranchez cet appareil avant d’en nettoyer l’extérieur. Nettoyez l’extérieur uniquement avec un linge humide et n’utilisez ni détergents ni solvants. La plastifieuse est vendue avec une feuille de nettoyage à utiliser après chaque séance de plastification, avant d’éteindre l'appareil. Lors de la plastification ou en cas de bourrage, de la colle peut sortir de la pochette et laisser des traces sur les rouleaux. La feuille de nettoyage élimine ces résidus, ce qui permet d’assurer le bon fonctionnement de l’appareil et d’en prolonger le cycle de vie.
1Faites passer la feuille de nettoyage dans l’appareil à deux ou trois reprises.
2Éteignez l’appareil lorsque vous avez terminé de plastifier et d’utiliser la feuille de nettoyage.
Conseils de plastification
•NE PAS INSÉRER DE POCHETTE VIDE DANS LA MACHINE.
•N'insérez jamais, en premier dans l'appareil, le bord non collé de la pochette, au risque de causer un blocage.
•Avant la plastification de documents importants ou uniques, effectuez toujours un essai à l’aide d’un type de document similaire.
•N’essayez pas de plastifier une seule face. Cela entraînerait la destruction de la plastifieuse.
•Dès la fin de la plastification, retirez le document plastifié à l’arrière de l’appareil et laissez-le refroidir sur une surface plate et froide afin d’empêcher la pochette de se recourber.
•N’obstruez pas les fentes d’aération, au risque de faire surchauffer la plastifieuse.
•Ne coupez pas les pochettes avant la plastification.
Garantie
Le fonctionnement de cet appareil est garanti pendant deux ans à partir de la date d’achat, sous réserve d’un usage normal. Pendant la période de garantie, ACCO Brands Europe décidera, à son gré, de réparer ou de remplacer gratuitement l'appareil défectueux. Les défauts dus à

Elektrische Sicherheit
•Das Gerät muss an eine geeignete Stromquelle (s. Hinweis auf dem Gerät) angeschlossen werden.

Allgemeine Vorsichtsmaßnahmen
•Das Gerät ausschließlich zum Laminieren von Dokumenten und nie für einen nicht vorgesehenen Zweck verwenden.
•Nie etwas anderes als Laminiertaschen/Dokumente in die Einführöffnung des Geräts einführen.
•Das Gerät zur Vermeidung von Beschädigungen und Verletzungen auf einer sicheren, stabilen Fläche aufstellen.
•Sämtliche Warnhinweise und Anweisungen beachten.
•Das Gerät sollte in der Nähe der Steckdose aufgestellt werden, und die Steckdose stets gut zugänglich sein.
•Niemals versuchen, nur eine Seite eines Dokuments zu laminieren. Dabei wird das Laminiergerät beschädigt.
•Zur Vermeidung einer Überhitzung dürfen die Lüftungsschlitze nicht blockiert werden.
Einführung
Vielen Dank für den Erwerb des GBC®-Taschenlaminiergeräts. Die Betriebstemperatur wird bei diesem Gerät schnell erreicht und außerdem aufrechterhalten, sodass es ohne Wartezeiten eingesetzt werden kann. Das Gerät ist auch für die Kaltlaminierung entsprechender Laminiertaschen geeignet. Das Erreichen der Betriebsbereitschaft
wird per Tonsignal und Leuchtanzeige gemeldet. Nach 30 Minuten der Inaktivität schaltet das Gerät in den Standbymodus.
Zur optimalen Nutzung des Geräts empfiehlt sich die Lektüre der vorliegenden Anleitung. Bei der Inbetriebnahme macht sich eventuell ein leichter Geruch bemerkbar. Dieser ist unbedenklich und verliert sich nach einigen Betriebsstunden.
Betrieb
1 Den Netzstecker an eine geeignete Stromquelle anschließen.
2Das Gerät über die Betriebstaste einschalten. Die Anzeige leuchtet auf (s. Abb. 1). (Zur Kaltlaminierung das Gerät über die Betriebstaste einschalten und Schritt 3 überspringen.)
3Die Stärke der Laminiertasche durch Drücken der entsprechenden Taste einstellen. Die Tastenanzeige leuchtet (s. Abb. 2).
4Das zu laminierende Dokument so in eine GBC-Laminiertasche einlegen, dass das Dokument an der versiegelten Kante anliegt und mit dieser ausgerichtet ist und der rechte und linke Rand gleich groß sind (s. Abb. 3).
5Sobald die Betriebsanzeige aufleuchtet (s. Abb. 4) und ein Tonsignal zu hören ist, Laminiertasche und Inhalt mit der versiegelten Kante nach vorn gerade in das Gerät einführen.
6Der fertig laminierte Artikel wird automatisch an der Rückseite des Geräts ausgegeben. Ist die Vorschubbewegung abgeschlossen, den Artikel sofort zum Abkühlen für eine Minute auf eine flache Oberfläche legen (s. Abb. 5) und erst dann weiterverwenden.
7Es kann eine andere Laminiertaschenstärke ausgewählt werden. Bei Auswahl einer geringeren Stärke muss das Gerät zunächst auf die entsprechende Einstellung abkühlen, bevor laminiert werden kann. Sobald das Gerät bereit ist, leuchtet die Betriebsanzeige auf.
8Wurden alle gewünschten Dokumente laminiert, das Gerät über die Betriebstaste (s. Abb. 1) ausschalten.

Freigabetaste
Dieses Gerät ist mit einer Freigabetaste ausgestattet, mit der eine fehleingezogene Laminiertasche bei Bedarf während des Laminiervorgangs freigegeben werden kann.
•Zur Freigabe einer bereits in das Gerät eingeführten Laminiertasche die Freigabetaste fest drücken, die Laminiertasche fassen und nach vorn aus dem Gerät herausziehen (s. Abb. 5).
•Die Walzen wie im Abschnitt „Reinigung“ unten beschrieben reinigen.
•Das Laminiergerät ist innerhalb weniger Sekunden wieder betriebsbereit.
•DIE ENTFERNTE TASCHE DARF NICHT WIEDERVERWENDET WERDEN.
•Das Dokument in eine neue Tasche einlegen und den Laminiervorgang gemäß den Anweisungen in der vorliegenden Bedienungsanleitung durchführen.
Reinigung
mVorsicht: Vor der Reinigung der Geräteaußenseite muss der Netzstecker gezogen werden. Das Gerät nur an der Außenseite mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen. Keine Reinigungsoder Lösungsmittel verwenden. Nach jedem Einsatz des Geräts muss vor dem Abschalten der im Lieferumfang enthaltene Reinigungskarton durch das Gerät laufen. Beim Laminieren oder auch bei Auftreten eines Laminiertaschenstaus kann Klebstoff aus der Laminiertasche austreten und sich auf den Walzen absetzen. Der Reinigungskarton entfernt den Klebstoff und gewährleistet so einen einwandfreien Betrieb und ein möglichst langes Geräteleben.
1 Den Reinigungskarton zwei oder drei Mal durch das Gerät laufen lassen.
2 Nach dem Laminieren und nach der Reinigung das Gerät abschalten.
Tipps zum Laminieren
•KEINE LEERE LAMINIERTASCHE IN DAS GERÄT EINFÜHREN.
•Laminiertaschen nie mit der nicht versiegelten Kante zuerst einführen. Dies kann zu einem Stau führen.
•Vor dem Laminieren von wichtigen Dokumenten oder Unikaten stets zuerst eine Testlaminiertasche mit einem ähnlichen Dokumenttyp durch das Gerät laufen lassen.
•Niemals versuchen, nur eine Seite eines Dokuments zu laminieren. Dabei wird das Laminiergerät beschädigt.
•Sobald der Laminiervorgang beendet ist, das laminierte Dokument zum Abkühlen auf einer kühlen, ebenen Fläche ablegen. Dadurch wird verhindert, dass sich die Laminiertasche wellt.
•Zur Vermeidung einer Überhitzung dürfen die Lüftungsschlitze nicht blockiert werden.
•Die Laminiertaschen vor dem Laminiervorgang nicht schneiden.
Instandsetzungen oder Änderungen, die durch nicht von ACCO Brands Europe autorisierten Personen vorgenommen werden, setzen die Gewährleistung außer Kraft. Es ist unser Ziel, sicherzustellen, dass die Leistung unserer Produkte den angegebenen technischen Daten entspricht. Precauzioni generali

•Non cercare di eseguire plastificazioni su di un solo lato poiché la plastificatrice verrà immediatamente danneggiata.
•Non ostruire le fessure di aerazione della plastificatrice in quanto questo può causare il surriscaldamento della macchina.

Introduzione
Grazie per aver acquistato una plastificatrice a pouch GBC®. La plastificatrice raggiunge rapidamente la temperatura di esercizio e mantiene il calore necessario per consentirvi di plastificare i vostri documenti senza attendere. Con questa macchina è possibile anche eseguire la plastificazione a freddo utilizzando pouches con adesivo sensibile alla pressione. Quando la plastificatrice è pronta per l’uso, emette un segnale acustico e luminoso, e passa in modalità standby dopo 30 minuti di inattività.
Vi invitiamo a dedicare un po’ del vostro tempo per leggere attentamente le presenti istruzioni affinché possiate utilizzare in maniera ottimale la vostra macchina. La vostra nuova plastificatrice potrebbe emanare un leggero odore durante la fase iniziale del lavoro. Ciò è assolutamente normale e diminuisce dopo alcune ore di funzionamento.
Funzionamento
1 Collegare la spina del cavo di alimentazione a una fonte adatta.
2Premere il pulsante di accensione per accendere la macchina. La spia si illumina (Fig. 1). (Per la plastificazione a freddo, premere il tasto di accensione per accendere la macchina e passare direttamente al punto 4).
3Premere il pulsante corrispondente allo spessore appropriato della pouch. La spia si illumina (Fig. 2).
4Inserire il documento da plastificare in una pouch GBC in modo che sia in linea con il lato presigillato della pouch ed equidistante da entrambi i margini della stessa (Fig. 3).
5Quando la spia ‘Ready’ (pronto) si accende (Fig. 4) e la macchina emette il segnale acustico, inserire la pouch con il documento da plastificare nell’imboccatura della macchina, dal lato presigillato.
6Il documento plastificato fuoriesce automaticamente dal retro della plastificatrice. Quando il documento non è più in movimento, collocarlo immediatamente su una superficie piana per farlo raffreddare per un minuto prima di maneggiarlo (Fig. 5).
7È possibile selezionare uno spessore diverso della pouch. Qualora si scelga uno spessore minore, la plastificatrice deve raffreddarsi alla temperatura impostata prima di essere utilizzata. La spia ‘Ready’ (pronto) si accende quando la plastificatrice è pronta per l’uso.
8Al termine dell’operazione di plastificazione, premere il pulsante di accensione per spegnere la macchina (Fig. 1).

Pulsante di rilascio
La macchina è dotata di pulsante di rilascio per rimuovere una pouch inserita incorrettamente durante l’operazione di plastificazione se necessario.
•Per rimuovere una pouch inserita nella macchina, premere con decisione il pulsante di rilascio, afferrare la pouch verso di sé ed estrarla (Fig. 5).
•Pulire i rulli secondo le istruzioni riportate di seguito nella sezione relativa alla pulizia.
•La plastificatrice sarà di nuovo pronta per l’uso nel giro di qualche secondo.
•NON RIUTILIZZARE LA STESSA POUCH.
•Inserire il documento in un’altra pouch e consultare di nuovo la sezione ‘Funzionamento’ del presente manuale.
Pulizia
mAttenzione: staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente prima di pulire l’esterno della macchina. pulire la superficie esterna solo con un panno umido e non utilizzare detergenti o solventi. La plastificatrice ha in dotazione un foglio di pulizia da usare dopo ogni operazione di plastificazione prima di spegnere la macchina. È possibile che l’adesivo esca dalla pouch e aderisca ai rulli durante il processo di plastificazione oppure nel caso di inceppamento
di una pouch. Il foglio di pulizia serve a rimuovere tale residuo, mantenendo la macchina in condizioni ottimali di funzionamento e prolungandone la vita utile.
1 Far scorrere questo foglio nella macchina due o tre volte.
2Dopo aver terminato l’operazione di plastificazione e aver utilizzato il foglio di pulizia, spegnere la plastificatrice.
Consigli utili per la plastificazione
•NON INSERIRE POUCHES VUOTE NELLA MACCHINA.
•Non inserire mai la pouch nella macchina dal lato non presigillato in quanto potrebbe causare inceppamenti.
•Prima di plastificare documenti importanti o in copia unica, fare sempre una prova inserendo una pouch con un documento simile.
•Non cercare di eseguire plastificazioni su di un solo lato poiché la plastificatrice verrà immediatamente danneggiata.
•Al termine dell’operazione di plastificazione, rimuovere il documento plastificato dalla parte posteriore della plastificatrice e collocarlo su una superficie fredda e piatta per farlo raffreddare onde evitare eventuali arricciature.
•Non ostruire le fessure di aerazione della plastificatrice in quanto questo può causare il surriscaldamento della macchina.
•Non tagliare le pouches prima della plastificazione del documento.

Elektrische voorzorgsmaatregelen
•De machine moet worden aangesloten op een netspanning die overeenkomt met de nominale spanningswaarde die op de machine staat aangegeven.
•Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u de lamineermachine verplaatst of wanneer hij langere tijd niet wordt gebruikt.
•Gebruik de machine niet met een beschadigd snoer of een defecte stekker. Probeer de stekker nooit te wijzigen. De stekker is samengesteld voor de juiste netvoeding.
•Belast de stopcontacten niet boven de toegestane capaciteit; dit kan namelijk brand of een elektrische schok veroorzaken.
•De machine is alleen bedoeld voor gebruik binnen.

Algemene veiligheidsmaatregelen
•Gebruik de machine alleen voor het beoogde doel: het lamineren van documenten.
•Plaats geen andere voorwerpen dan lamineertassen en documenten in de invoeropening van de machine.
•Plaats de machine op een veilig en stabiel oppervlak om te voorkomen dat door een val persoonlijk letsel wordt veroorzaakt of de machine beschadigd raakt.
•Volg alle waarschuwingen en aanwijzingen op.
•Plaats de machine in de buurt van een stopcontact dat goed bereikbaar is.
•Probeer de documenten nooit enkelzijdig te lamineren. Daardoor raakt de lamineermachine defect.
•Zorg dat de ventilatieopeningen vrij blijven, anders wordt de lamineermachine te warm.
