Electrical safeguards
• The unit must be connected to a supply voltage corresponding to the
electrical rating.
• Unplug the unit before moving it, or when it is not in use for an extended
period of time.
• Do not operate with a damaged supply cord or plug, if it is damaged,
or malfunctions.
• Do not overload electrical outlets beyond their capacity; fire or electrical
shock could result.
• The unit is intended for indoor use only.
• Do not spill liquid of any kind on this product.
• Close supervision is required when this product is used near children.
Service
• Do not attempt to service or repair the pouch laminator yourself. Unplug the
unit and contact an authorized GBC service representative for any required
repairs.
Cleaning

• Use the unit only for its intended purposes.
• Do not place anything in the throat opening of the unit other than
pouches/documents.
• Place unit on a secure, stable work area to prevent the unit from falling and

• Wipe exterior only with a damp cloth. Do not use detergents or solvents.
Special notice
Thank you, for your recent purchase of a GBC Pouch Laminator. Your new
laminator may emit a slight odour during the initial stage of operation. It is
normal and will diminish after several hours of operation.
Anti-jam feature
DocuSeal 95P/125P:
How to use the Release Lever (fig. 4)
Turn off the laminator immediately
Press the release lever down to release the motor from the rollers
Pull your document back out of the laminator
Clean the rollers by running the cleaning sheet supplied with the laminator
through the machine 2 or 3 times in hot operation mode. If you do not
have this sheet just use or a similar cardboard sheet that fits the width of
the laminator

Operation, hot lamination
Connect power cord to appropriate power source.
DocuSeal 40P: Push the switch to “2x125 mic. (TOTAL 250)” (fig. 1).
DocuSeal 95P/125P: Select either 2x75 mic. (TOTAL 150) or 2x125 mic.
(TOTAL 250) setting to match the thickness of the pouch being used. Slide
the power switch to “On” (fig. 2). The inside of the machine will glow red
when the laminator reaches lamination temperature.
Position the item to be laminated into a GBC laminating pouch,
so that the document is aligned to the folded edge and right and left
borders are equal.
Insert the pouch and its content straight into the machine, leading with the
folded edge (fig. 3).
The laminated item will automatically exit the rear of the pouch laminator.
Immediately after the pouch has stopped moving, place it on a flat surface
to cool for one minute before handling.
If you are finished laminating, then move the switch to the "off" position.
Do not laminate an empty pouch.

Operation, cold lamination
Connect power cord to appropriate power source.
DocuSeal 40P: Push the switch to “Cold” (fig. 1).
DocuSeal 95P/125P: Slide the mode switch to “Cold” and the power
switch to “On” (fig. 2). The machine will glow red. Follow the instructions
included with your GBC Self Adhesive Laminate or other pressure-sensitive,
non-thermal laminating pouch.

Guarantee
Operation of this machine is guaranteed for one year from date of purchase,
subject to normal use. Within the guarantee period, GBC will at its own
discretion either repair or replace the defective machine free of charge.
Defects due to misuse or use for inappropriate purposes are not covered under
the guarantee. Proof of date of purchase will be required. Repairs or alterations
made by persons not authorised by GBC will invalidate the guarantee.
It is our aim to ensure that our products perform to the specifications stated.
This guarantee does not affect the legal rights which consumers have under

• Essuyez l’extérieur uniquement avec un chiffon humide. N’utilisez pas de

Note spéciale
Nous vous remercions pour votre achat d’une plastifieuse à pochettes GBC.
Votre plastifieuse peut au début diffuser une légère odeur qui s’atténuera
pendant les premières heures d’utilisation.
DocuSeal 95P/125P:
Si la pochette ne sort pas de la plastifieuse (fig. 4)
Éteignez la plastifieuse immédiatement.
Pressez sur le levier d’éjection afin que le moteur sépare les rouleaux.
Retirez le document de la plastifieuse
Nettoyez les rouleaux en faisant passer 2 à 3 fois la feuille de nettoyage
fournie avec la plastifieuse. Si vous ne possédez pas cette feuille, vous
pouvez utiliser une feuille cartonnée similaire adaptée à la largeur de
travail de votre plastifieuse.

Plastification à chaud
Branchez l’appareil à la source d’alimentation adéquate.
DocuSeal 40P: Positionnez l’interrupteur sur “2x125 mic. (TOTAL 250)”
(fig. 1).
DocuSeal 95P/125P: Positionnez sur 2x75 mic. (TOTAL 150) ou 2x125
mic. (TOTAL 250) selon l’épaisseur de la pochette utilisée.Positionnez
l’interrupteur sur “Marche” (fig. 2). L’intérieur de la machine devient rouge
lorsque la plastifeuse atteint la température de plastification.
Centrez le support à plastifier dans la pochette en l’alignant sur le côté
fermé de la pochette et en veillant à ce que les bords, à droite et à gauche
de ce support, soient égaux.
Insérez la pochette et son contenu directement dans la machine - avec le
bord fermé en premier (fig. 3).
Le document plastifié sort automatiquement à l’arrière de la plastifieuse :
posez-le sur une surface plane pour le laisser refroidir.
Lorsque vous avez terminé, éteignez l’appareil en positionnant
l’interrupteur sur "Arrêt ".
Ne plastifiez pas une pochette vide.

Plastification à froid
Branchez l’appareil à la source d’alimentation adéquate.
DocuSeal 40P: Positionnez l’interrupteur sur “Froid” (fig. 1).
DocuSeal 95P/125P: Sélectionnez le mode “Froid” et positionnez
l’interrupteur d’alimentation sur “Marche” (fig. 2). L’intérieur de la machine
devient rouge. Suivez le mode d’emploi inclus avec les pochettes
Adhésives GBC ou d’autres pochettes de plastification à froid et sensibles
à la pression.

• Wischen Sie es nur mit einem feuchten Tuch ab. Es dürfen keine Reinigungs- oder
Lösungsmittel verwendet werden.

• Stecken Sie das Gerät aus, bevor Sie es transportieren oder wenn es über einen
längeren Zeitraum hinweg nicht benutzt wird.

Zusatzinformation

kann bei den ersten Laminierungen leichte Gerüche absondern Dies ist
unbedenklich und verliert sich nach den ersten Arbeitsstunden.

Betrieb, Heisslaminierung
Schließen Sie das Kabel an eine geeignete Stromquelle an.
DocuSeal 40P: Stellen Sie den Schalter auf „2x125 mic. (TOTAL 250)“ (Abb.1).
DocuSeal 95P/125P: Wählen Sie die Einstellung 2x75 mic. (TOTAL 150) oder
2x125 mic. (TOTAL 250) aus,um das Gerät auf die Stärke der verwendeten Tasche
einzustellen. Bringen Sie den Stromschalter in die Position „An“ (Abb. 2). Das Innere
der Maschine glüht rot, sobald der Laminator die richtige Laminiertemperatur
erreicht hat.
Bitte achten Sie beim Einlegen des zu laminierenden Dokumentes darauf, dass das
Dokument so weit wie möglich an die geschlossene Kante anstößt. Der Abstand zwischen Pouch und Dokument – muß auf der rechten und linken Seite gleich sein.
Führen Sie die Tasche und deren Inhalt gerade in die Maschine ein, wobei die
gefaltete Kante vorausgehen muss (Abb. 3).
Der laminierte Artikel kommt automatisch an der Rückseite des Taschenlaminators
wieder heraus. Sobald sich die Tasche nicht mehr bewegt, legen Sie sofort den
laminierten Artikel auf einer ebenen Fläche ab und lassen sie ihn eine Minute lang
abkühlen, bevor Sie ihn wieder anfassen.
Sobald Sie mit dem Laminieren fertig sind, stellen Sie den Schalter auf „Aus“.
Bitte laminieren Sie keinen leeren Pouch.

Betrieb, Kaltlaminierung
Schließen Sie das Kabel an eine geeignete Stromquelle an.
DocuSeal 40P: Stellen Sie den Schalter auf „Kalt“ (Abb. 1).
DocuSeal 95P/125P: Bringen Sie den Modusschalter in die Position „Kalt“ und
stellen Sie den Stromschalter auf „An“ (Abb. 2). Die Maschine glüht dann rot.
Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen, die dem selbstklebenden GBC-Laminat oder einer
anderen, druckempfindlichen, nicht-thermischen Laminiertasche beigelegt waren.

DocuSeal 95P/125P:
Wenn der Laminator die Folientasche nicht ausgibt (Abb. 4)
