Semnificaţiile pictogramelor:
Interdicţie: interzice operaţiuni inadecvate, pentru a evita
deteriorarea notebook-ului PC.
Atenţie: atenţionări pentru utilizator, pentru a evita eventualele
deteriorări. Vă rugăm să le reţineţi şi să vi le reamintiţi.
Important: informaţii importante, observaţii uzuale, definiţii,
cunoştinţe generale şi referinţe, etc.
Acest manual poate conţine menţiuni de alte mărci şi denumiri
comerciale, utilizate pentru a face referire fie la entităţile care au
drepturi asupra respectivelor mărci şi denumiri, fie la produsele
acestora. Producătorul neagă orice drept de proprietate asupra
mărcilor şi denumirilor comerciale care nu îi aparţin.
Informaţiile din acest manual pot fi modificate fără avertisment

Măsuri de siguranţă
1. NU apăsaţi sau atingeţi ecranul LCD. NU puneţi notebook-ul PC la un loc cu obiecte
mici, deoarece acestea pot zgâria ecranul LCD sau pătrunde în notebook-ul PC .
2. NU expuneţi notebook-ul PC la medii cu mult praf sau murdărie. Păstraţi mediul curat
şi uscat.
3. NU aşezaţi notebook-ul PC pe suprafeţe de lucru denivelate sau instabile.
4. NU aşezaţi şi nu scăpaţi obiecte pe partea de sus a notebook-ului PC. NU îndesaţi
obiecte străine în notebook-ul PC. NU închideţi panoul ecranului LCD cu brutalitate.
5. NU expuneţi notebook-ul PC la câmpuri magnetice sau electrice puternice; NU
aşezaţi dischete în apropierea notebook-ului PC sau pe acesta, deoarece datele de
pe dischete se pot pierde.
6. NU lăsaţi notebook-ul PC la soare şi mai ales în maşină, deoarece ecranul LCD se
poate deteriora.
7. TEMPERATURA SIGURĂ: Acest notebook PC trebuie folosit numai în medii cu
temperaturi cuprinse între 5°C (41 °F) şi 35°C (95 °F).
8. NU expuneţi la şi nu folosiţi notebook-ul PC în apropierea lichidelor, ploii sau umezelii .
9. Atenţie: risc de explozie dacă bateria este înlocuită cu un tip incorect. Aruncaţi
bateriile uzate în conformitate cu instrucţiunile.
10. Avertisment: presiunea mare a sunetului în căşti poate cauza pierderea auzului.
11. NU aruncaţi notebook-ul PC împreună cu deşeul menajer. Consultaţi reglementările
locale privind reciclarea produselor electronice. Va rugăm să reciclaţi bateria şi să
solicitaţi autorităţilor sau distribuitorului sfaturi pentru reciclare.
12. Notebook-ul PC şi adaptorul pot produce căldură în timpul funcţionării sau încărcării.
Pentru a preveni disconfortul dumneavoastră şi deteriorarea notebook-ului PC prin
expunerea la căldură, NU ţineţi notebook-ul PC pe genunchi sau orice parte a
corpului.
13. VALORI DE INTRARE: Consultaţi eticheta de pe notebook-ul PC şi asiguraţi-vă că
adaptorul de curent respectă specificaţiile. Utilizaţi numai echipamentele şi accesoriile
specificate de producător.
14. Verificaţi conexiunile dintre unitatea principală şi echipament înainte de a porni
notebook-ul PC.
15. Pentru a evita murdărirea notebook-ului PC, NU utilizaţi notebook-ul PC în timp ce
mâncaţi.
16. NU introduceţi în notebook-ul PC obiecte care pot duce la scurtcircuitarea sau
deteriorarea circuitelor.
17. Opriţi notebook-ul PC, dacă doriţi să conectaţi sau să deconectaţi dispozitive externe
care nu permit conectare la cald (en. hot-plug).
18. Deconectaţi notebook-ul PC de la priza de curent şi îndepărtaţi bateriile instalate
înainte de curăţare. NU îl lăsaţi la îndemâna copiilor.
19. NU dezasamblaţi notebook-ul PC; doar un tehnician de service autorizat trebuie să
facă reparaţii la computerul dumneavoastră. În caz contrar, pot apărea probleme, iar
producătorul nu este responsabil pentru daune.
20. Utilizaţi numai baterii aprobate de către producător, altfel pot apărea defecţiuni.
21. Notebook-ul PC are nişte foiţe de metal pentru a dispersa căldură. NU aşezaţi
notebook-ul PC pe obiecte moi (de exemplu: pat, canapea, poala dvs.), altfel
notebook-ul PC-ul poate deveni fierbinte şi va opri sistemul de operare.

Fişa USB poate fi introdusă într-o singură poziţie. Forţând introducerea fişei
acesta poate fi deteriorat.

2 Întreţinerea notebook-ului PC
Notebook-ul PC este un aparat de precizie; folosirea greşită a acestuia poate duce
la deteriorarea lui.
2-1 Ecranul LCD
Ecranul LCD este componenta cea mai delicată a notebook-ului PC, fiind realizat
din sticlă subţire. Acesta poate fi spart prin impact exterior. NU zgâriaţi carcasa
notebook-ului PC, deoarece zgârieturile de pe carcasă nu pot fi remediate.
NU închideţi cu brutalitate panoul ecranului, altfel pot apărea deteriorări.
NU aşezaţi obiecte pe tastatură pentru a evita deteriorarea ecranului şi a tastaturii
în momentul închiderii panoului ecranului.
Înainte de a pleca în călătorie, aşezaţi notebook-ul PC în geantă pentru a-l proteja
de murdărire, apă, şocuri şi zgârieturi.
NU scăpaţi şi nu aşezaţi obiecte grele pe panoul ecranului.
NU zgâriaţi ecranul LCD cu unghiile sau cu alte obiecte dure.
Folosiţi o cârpă moale care nu lasă scame pentru a şterge notebook-ul PC şi
ştergeţi-l uşor pentru a evita deteriorarea ecranului LCD.
Închideţi panoul ecranului dacă notebook-ul PC nu va fi folosit o perioadă
îndelungată.
NU curăţaţi ecranul LCD cu produse chimice.
Ecranul LCD NU trebuie să vină în contact cu obiecte dure (ex.: nasturi, curea de
ceas).
Folosiţi o cârpă uscată moale care nu lasă scame pentru a şterge uşor ecranul LCD.
NU ştergeţi ecranul LCD direct cu mâna.
NU vărsaţi lichide pe notebook-ul PC deoarece componentele acestuia se pot
deteriora.
Închideţi uşor panoul ecranului pentru a evita deplasarea balamalelor şi clipirea
ecranului LCD.
NU curăţaţi touchpad-ul cu produse de curăţare acide şi NU stropiţi
notebook-ul PC direct cu soluţie de curăţare.
2-2 Bateria
Reciclaţi bateria şi solicitaţi sfatul autorităţilor sau distribuitorului pentru reciclare.
NU puneţi bateria în apropierea focului, întrucât poate lua foc sau exploda.
Bateria va face scurt circuit dacă este perforată sau reasamblată.
Intervalul ideal de temperatură pentru folosirea bateriei este cuprins între 20 şi 30°C.
Temperaturile mai mari sau mai mici scurtează durata de viaţă a bateriei.

2-3 Tastatura
Tastatura este componenta cea mai folosită, direct cu ajutorul degetelor. Folosiţi o
mică pensulă pentru a o curăţa sau aer comprimat pentru a îndepărta praful dintre tastele
tastaturii. Umeziţi cu apă o cârpă moale care nu lasă scame sau o lavetă şi ştergeţi delicat
tastele.
Dacă se scurge apă în tastatura, circuitele nu vor fi deteriorate direct, deoarece
tastatura nu este alimentată cu electricitate. Însă poate fi afectată placa de circuite
imprimate, ducând astfel la defectarea tastaturii. În acest caz, contactaţi distribuitorul
pentru îndrumări.
2-4 Touch Pad
Când folosiţi touch pad-ul, mâna trebuie să fie curată, în caz contrar cursorul nu va
putea fi controlat.
Dacă touch pad-ul este murdar, umeziţi o cârpă moale care nu lasă scame şi
ştergeţi-l uşor.
Touch pad-ul este sensibil la presiune; NU zgâriaţi touch pad-ul cu obiecte dure şi nu
lăsaţi obiecte grele pe suprafaţa acestuia.
2-5 Alte accesorii
Urmaţi etapele de mai jos înainte de a curăţa notebook-ul PC şi accesoriile.
1. Opriţi notebook-ul PC. Deconectaţi notebook-ul PC şi toate dispozitivele externe de la
prizele electrice şi detaşaţi bateria instalată.
2. Folosiţi micul colector de praf pentru a aspira praful din orificiile fişei sau ale tastaturii.
3. Umeziţi cu apă o cârpă moale care nu lasă scame şi ştergeţi uşor suprafaţa
notebook-ului PC. Pentru a evita scurtcircuitarea şi deteriorarea notebook-ului, NU
lăsaţi să se scurgă lichid în acesta.
4. Porniţi notebook-ul PC numai după ce s-a uscat.
2-6 Dacă notebook-ul PC intră în contact cu apa
NU porniţi notebook-ul PC imediat.
Deconectaţi cablul de alimentare şi detaşaţi bateria pentru a opri notebook-ul PC, în
loc să apăsaţi butonul POWER pentru a-l opri. Deconectaţi toate dispozitivele
externe.
Vărsaţi apa din notebook-ul PC. Folosiţi o hârtie moale absorbantă sau o cârpă
pentru a şterge uşor suprafaţa notebook-ului PC.
Folosiţi ventilatorul pentru a usca notebook-ul PC şi accesoriile, apoi trimiteţi-l la
centrul de service pentru o verificare competentă.
NU folosiţi uscătorul de păr pentru a usca notebook-ul PC, deoarece temperatura
ridicată îl poate deforma.
NU puneţi notebook-ul PC în geanta murdară.

2-7 Alte observaţii
NU expuneţi notebook-ul PC la un mediu fierbinte pentru o lungă perioadă de timp,
mai ales în maşină. Altfel părţi ale notebook-ului PC se vor deforma.
Păstraţi datele pentru o posibilă utilizare ulterioară.
Reînnoiţi periodic hardware-ul sau software-ul pentru a vă menţine notebook-ul PC
compatibil şi stabil.
3 Notebook-ul PC în călătorie
Închideţi notebook-ul PC şi deconectaţi toate cablurile înainte de a-l muta. Urmaţi paşii
de mai jos dacă vreţi să vă luaţi notebook-ul PC în călătorie.
Atenţie
1. Încărcaţi complet bateria din aparat şi pe cea de rezervă.
2. Opriţi notebook-ul PC şi deconectaţi-l de la priza de curent.
3. Închideţi complet şi delicat panoul ecranului.
4. Deconectaţi toate cablurile de alimentare.
5. Deconectaţi toate cablurile.
6. Înainte de a pleca în călătorie, aşezaţi notebook-ul PC în geantă pentru a-l proteja
de murdărie, apă, şocuri şi zgârieturi.
7. Verificaţi dacă aţi luat bateria de rezervă, adaptorul de curent, cablurile de
alimentare manualul şi certificatul de garanţie. NU uitaţi parolele notebook-ului PC
şi ale dispozitivului de stocare a datelor (en: SSD).
8. Aflaţi ce tip de tensiune există în ţările pe care le veţi vizita. Notebook-ul PC are un
adaptor universal CA-CC, deci trebuie doar să cumpăraţi diferitele cabluri de
alimentare necesare pentru a-l conecta la diferite tipuri de prize sau hotelul vă
poate oferi cabluri universale care suportă şi tensiunea de funcţionare a aparatului
dumneavoastră.
Dacă luaţi notebook-ul PC cu dumneavoastră în maşină, NU îl lăsaţi în soare.
Aşezaţi-l într-un loc răcoros şi umbros.
NU scoateţi SSD-ul imediat după sau în timpul funcţionării. Setaţi notebook-ul
PC să intre în modul în aşteptare (en. standby) sau de hibernare, înainte de a-l
deplasa.
Conexiunea şi notebook-ul dvs. PC la Internet va fi întreruptă când sistemul
intră în modul de hibernare.

4 Noţiuni de bază
4-1 Conectarea adaptorului
Notebook-ul PC are un adaptor universal CA-CC, iar tensiunea de intrare permisă
de adaptor este de la 100V la 240V.
Urmaţi paşii de mai jos pentru conectarea adaptorului:
1. Luaţi adaptorul şi cablul de alimentare şi conectaţi adaptorul la cablul de
alimentare.
2. Conectaţi capătul de CC al adaptorului la mufa de alimentare a notebook-ului PC.
3. Introduceţi capătul de CA în priza de curent.
4. Înainte de a porni notebook-ul PC, asiguraţi-vă că toate conexiunile de mai sus sunt
corect efectuate.
NU deconectaţi notebook-ul PC în timp ce SSD-ul este citit sau scris,
întrucât acest lucru poate duce la pierderea de date şi poate deteriora
discul. Respectaţi paşi recomandaţi pentru închiderea notebook-ului PC.
Notebook-ul dvs. PC şi accesoriile pot diferi de imaginile arătate mai jos.
Nu este recomandabilă folosirea a două sau mai multor porturi USB pentru
conectarea de dispozitive mari consumatoare de energie (de ex. hard USB)
în timp ce unitatea este alimentată de la baterie.
4-2 Conectarea cablului de reţea
Folosiţi cablul de conexiune pentru a conecta UNITATEA la linia de reţea, după cum se
arată mai jos:

5-1 Pornirea notebook-ului PC
1. Deschideţi panoul de afişaj şi reglaţi unghiul ecranului LCD al notebook-ului PC.
2. Apăsaţi butonul pornire pentru a porni notebook-ul PC.
5-2 Reglarea luminozităţii ecranului LCD
Notebook-ul PC foloseşte o matrice TFT LCD activă şi totodată dispune de un port
de ieşire pentru conectarea unui monitor extern. Notebook-ul PC are o funcţie de reglare
a afişajului LCD cu ajutorul următoarelor combinaţii de butoane.

Ecranul LCD este confecţionat din sticlă şi poate fi deteriorat dacă notebook-ul
PC este scăpat sau dacă se loveşte de obiecte dure.
5-3 Funcţiile tastaturii
Notebook-ul PC are integrată o tastatură cu 78
taste.
Apăsaţi pe tastele marcate cu
numere/simboluri pentru a introduce tastele
dorite după pornirea tastaturii.
Apăsaţi <Fn+NumLk> pentru activarea
tastaturii numerice; indicatorul arată că
tastatura numerică este activă; apăsaţi din
nou tastele < Fn+NumLk> pentru a dezactiva
tastatura numerică.

Fiecare tastă de pe tastatură poate avea funcţii diferite în software-uri diferite.
Taste cu funcţii
Aceste taste marcate cu unele cuvinte sau însemne colorate au funcţii ce pot fi
activate numai prin apăsarea simultană a respectivei taste cu funcţii şi a tastei <Fn>.
<Fn>+<F1>：Activează sau dezactivează funcţia de cameră.
<Fn>+<F2>：Activează sau dezactivează WiFi.
<Fn>+<F3>：Porneşte sau opreşte difuzorul.
<Fn>+<F4>：Reduce volumul difuzorului.
<Fn>+<F5>：Creşte volumul difuzorului.
<Fn>+<F7>：Scade intensitatea luminoasă a ecranului LCD.
<Fn>+<F8>：Creşte intensitatea luminoasă a ecranului LCD.
<Fn>+<F9>：F11.
<Fn>+<F10>：F12.
5-4 Conectarea dispozitivului dotat cu HDMI
Conectaţi un capăt al cablului de HDMI la
portul HDMI al unităţii, iar celălalt capăt la portul
HDMI al dispozitivului, după cum se arată în
dreapta.
Înainte de conectare, comutaţi afişajul
dispozitivului digital în modul HDMI.
6 Upgradarea notebook-ului PC
6-1 Conectarea monitorului extern
Notebook-ul PC este dotat cu un port VGA pentru conectarea unui monitor extern
sau a unui proiector.
6-1-1 Conectarea unui monitor extern
1. Opriţi notebook-ul PC şi conectaţi
monitorul extern, după cum se arată în
imaginea din dreapta.
2. Porniţi notebook-ul PC.

6-1-2 Conectarea unei tastaturi şi mouse
Notebook-ul PC are integrată o tastatură cu 78 taste. Dacă doriţi să folosiţi o
tastatură sau un mouse extern, conectaţi tastatura sau mouse-ul extern la portul USB.
Când deconectaţi tastatura externă sau mouse-ul extern de la computer,
trageţi ferm de conector, nu de cablu, pentru a evita deteriorarea cablului.
6-1-3 Conectarea dispozitivelor
audio
La notebook-ul PC se poate conecta o
pereche de căşti, difuzoare sau un
microfon.
Difuzorul va fi oprit automat la conectarea unor căşti externe la notebook-ul
PC. Volumul foarte ridicat poate afecta auzul. Prin urmare, reduceţi volumul
înainte de a conecta căştile, apoi reglaţi-l la un nivel confortabil.

6-2 Accesarea meniului de setare BIOS
Parcurgeţi paşii de mai jos pentru a accesa meniul de setare BIOS:
1. Apăsaţi cu mişcări rapide butonul F2 în timp ce sistemul se încarcă, după care
sistemul va intra în „Setup Utility”, după cum se arată mai jos:
2. Apăsaţi tastele cu săgeţile stânga/dreapta pentru a selecta „Boot”, apoi apăsaţi
tasta Enter pentru a accesa meniul de mai jos:
3. Continuaţi apăsând tasta F10, după care va fi afişată o casetă de dialog în care
selectaţi mai întâi opţiunea „Yes”, apoi apăsaţi tasta Enter pentru a salva setarea şi
ieşi din sistem, după cum se arată mai jos:

Pentru a seta valorile implicite apăsaţi tasta F9, apoi selectaţi „Yes” pentru a confirma.
4. Nu este nevoie să schimbaţi ordinea de pornire, prin urmare apăsaţi direct tasta
F12 pentru a selecta opţiunea de pornire temporară după pornirea unităţii.
Versiunea BIOS trebuie actualizată din când în când. Imediat ce apar
discrepanţe faţă de manual, respectaţi funcţionarea efectivă.

7 Anexă
7-1 Soluţionarea defecţiunilor
Î1：Cum se opreşte notebook-ul PC atunci când sistemul nu poate iniţializa?
A：Apăsaţi butonul POWER şi ţineţi apăsat 4 sau 6 secunde pentru a opri notebook-ul
PC.
Î 2：Cum poate fi verificat notebook-ul PC dacă acesta nu poate fi oprit?
R：1. În cazul în care bateria este descărcată, conectaţi notebook-ul PC la o priză de
curent.
2. Asiguraţi-vă că sistemul de afişare video nu este setat în modul de monitor extern.
3. Asiguraţi-vă că indicatorul adaptorului este aprins şi că adaptorul este funcţional.
4. Scoateţi cardul micro-SD, precum şi orice alt dispozitiv extern.
Î 3：În cazul în care intră apă în notebook-ul PC
R：1. NU porniţi notebook-ul PC.
2. Deconectaţi cablul de alimentare şi detaşaţi bateria pentru a opri notebook-ul PC,
în loc să apăsaţi butonul POWER pentru a îl opri. Deconectaţi toate dispozitivele
externe.
3. Vărsaţi apa din notebook-ul PC. Folosiţi o hârtie moale absorbantă sau o cârpă
pentru a şterge uşor notebook-ul PC.
4. Folosiţi ventilatorul pentru a usca notebook-ul PC şi accesoriile, apoi trimiteţi-l la
centrul de service pentru o verificare competentă.
5. NU puneţi notebook-ul PC înapoi în geanta murdară.
Î 4：De ce sistemul nu poate reporni?
R：1. Daune la memoria externă sau încorporată. Dacă datele sunt salvate la o eroare
adresă de memorie, datele nu pot fi restabilite.
2. Dispozitiv extern incompatibil: Sistemul poate intra în modul standby din care nu
îşi mai poate reporni, atunci când un dispozitiv extern incompatibil este conectat la
notebook-ul PC.
3. Eroare de driver sau aplicaţie: Sistemul poate refuza să ruleze anumite fişiere
(formate de fişiere: .dll, .sys, .exe şi aşa mai departe) şi intră în modul standby sau
hibernare. Dacă aplicaţia incompatibilă este respinsă de sistemul de operare, este
posibil ca sistemul să nu mai poată reporni.
Î 5： Cum poate fi verificat un sistem care nu poate reiniţializa?
R：1. Deconectaţi dispozitivele externe şi dezinstalaţi driverele acestora.
2. Împrospătaţi (en refresh) sistemul BIOS
3. Împrospătaţi respectivul program.
4. Dezinstalaţi aplicaţia care a cauzat eroarea.
5. Reinstalaţi sistemul de operare.

6. Trimiteţi notebook-ul înapoi pentru verificare.
Î 6： Cum se prelungeşte durata de viaţă a bateriei?
R：1. Reglaţi luminozitatea ecranului LCD la un nivel adecvat.

22. DO NOT press or touch the LCD Screen. DO NOT place the Notebook PC with
small items, they may scratch LCD Screen or enter the Notebook PC.
23. DO NOT expose the Notebook PC to dirty or dusty environment. Keep the
environment clean and dry.
24. DO NOT place the Notebook PC on uneven or unstable work surface.
25. DO NOT place or drop objects on the top of the Notebook PC. DO NOT shove any
foreign objects into the Notebook PC. DO NOT cover the LCD Screen strongly.
26. DO NOT expose the Notebook PC to strong magnetic or electrical fields; DO NOT
place the floppy disk near or on the Notebook PC, that may loss the data of the
floppy disk.
27. DO NOT leave the Notebook PC facing the sun as it can damage the LCD Screen,
especially in the car.
28. SAFE TEMP: This Notebook PC should only be used in environments with ambient
temperatures between 5℃(41℉) and 35℃(95℉).

2 Caring the Notebook PC
The Notebook PC is a precision device; the misuse of it may damage the device.
2-1 LCD Screen
LCD Screen is the most delicate component of the Notebook PC and it is made of
thin glass. It can be broken up by external abrupt force. DO NOT scratch the cover of the
Notebook PC, or the scrape on the cover cannot remove.
DO NOT close the LCD Screen strongly, or else damage may occur.
DO NOT place objects on the keyboard to avoid damaging the screen and
keyboard when you cover the LCD Screen.
Place the Notebook PC in carrying case to protect it from dirt, water, shock and
scratches before traveling.
DO NOT drop or place heavy objects on the LCD Screen.
DO NOT scratch the LCD Screen with your fingernails or any hard objects.
Use a soft and lint-free cloth to wipe your Notebook PC and wipe it gently in order to
avoid damaging the LCD Screen.
Shut down the LCD Screen, if the Notebook PC will not be used for a long time.
DO NOT clean the LCD Screen with chemical cleaners.
The LCD Screen DOES NOT come into contact with hard objects (E.g.: cloth button,
watchband).
Use a soft and lint-free dry cloth to wipe the LCD Screen smoothly. DO NOT use
your hand to wipe the LCD Screen directly.
DO NOT spill liquid into the Notebook PC as it can damage the components of the
Notebook PC.
Cover the LCD Screen smoothly in order to avoid moving the hinges and flashing
the LCD Screen.
DO NOT clean the Touch Pad with acidic cleaner or spray cleaning solution
directly on the Notebook PC.
2-2 Battery Pack
Please recycle the Battery Pack, and check with your Local Authority or retailer for
recycling advice.
DO NOT put the Battery Pack near or into the fire, or else it may cause fire or
explode.
The Battery Pack will short circuit if the Battery Pack is punctured or reassembled.
The ideal temperature range that the Battery Pack be used is between 20℃-30℃.
Any temperatures above or below this range will shorten the life of the Battery Pack.

2-3 Keyboard
Keyboard is the most often used component by finger directly. Use a little brush to
clean or a can of compressed air to remove dust from between the keys on the keyboard.
Moisten a soft, lint-free cloth with water or cleaner and wipe the surface of the keys
smoothly.
If the water seeps into the keyboard, the circuit will not be damaged directly because
of the no-power supply keyboard. But the deteriorate of the Printed circuit board will
occur and will result in malfunction of the keyboard. Contact your dealer for advises at
this moment.
2-4 Touch Pad
Keep your hand clean when using the Touch Pad, or else the cursor is out of
control.
If the Touch Pad is dirty, moisten a soft, lint-free cloth with water and wipe the
Touch Pad smoothly.
The Touch Pad is pressure sensitive, DO NOT scratch the Touch Pad with hard
objects, or rest heavy objects on it.
2-5 Other accessories
Following the below steps before cleaning your Notebook PC and the accessories.
5. Turn off the Notebook PC. Disconnect your Notebook PC and all external devices
from their electrical outlets and remove the installed battery.
6. Use the little dust collector to pump the dust from the slot of plug or keyboard.
7. Moisten a soft, lint-free cloth with water and wipe the surface of the Notebook PC
smoothly. DO NOT seep liquid into the Notebook PC in order to avoid shorting of
circuit and the damage of the Notebook PC.
8. Turn on the Notebook PC after drying it.
2-6 If the water comes into the Notebook PC
DO NOT turn on the Notebook PC immediately.
Disconnect the outlet cable and detach the Battery Pack in order to turn off the
Notebook PC, instead of pressing the POWER button to turn off it. Disconnect all
external devices.
Spill out the water from the Notebook PC. Use a soft and waterish paper or cloth to
wipe the surface of the Notebook PC lightly.
Use the fanner to dry the Notebook PC and the accessories, and then send it to
the service center for advice.
DO NOT use hair drier to dry the Notebook PC, or the high temperature may distort
it.
DO NOT place the Notebook PC into the dirty carrying case again.

2-7 Other Notes
DO NOT expose the Notebook PC in hot environment for a long time, especially in
the car. Or the parts of the Notebook PC will be metamorphic.
Keep the data for future possible use termly.
Renew the hardware or software termly in order to keep the Notebook PC
compatible and steady.
3 Traveling with the Notebook PC
Turn off the Notebook PC and disconnect all lines before moving it. Following the
below steps, if you want to travel with your Notebook PC.

9. Charge the Battery Pack and the spare Battery Pack fully.
10. Turn off the Notebook PC and disconnect from the wall outlets.
11. Shut down the LCD Screen completely and smoothly.
12. Disconnect the AC lines.
13. Disconnect all lines.
14. Place the Notebook PC in carrying case to protect it from dirt, water, shock and
scratches before traveling.
15. Check that you have taken the spare Battery Pack, AC Adapter, power lines,
manual and warranty card. DO NOT forget the passwords of the Notebook PC and
SSD.
16. Find out the voltage type in the countries you will visit. Your Notebook PC comes
with a universal AC-DC adapter, so you only need to buy the different power cords
to connect the different outlets or the hotel may provide universal outlets to support
your power cord as well as voltages.
If you drive your car with the Notebook PC, DO NOT leave the Notebook PC
facing the sun. Place it in the shady and cool area.
DO NOT remove the SSD immediately while or after operating. Set the
Notebook PC into the Standby mode or Hibernation mode, before moving it.
The connection between Internet and your Notebook PC will be interrupted
when the system enter the hibernation mode.

4 Getting Started
4-1 Connecting the Power Adapter
The Notebook PC comes with a universal AC-DC adapter and the allowable input
voltage of adapter is from 100V to 240V.
Following the below steps to connect the adapter:
5. Take the adapter and the power cord, and then connect the adapter with the power
cord.
6. Plug the DC end of adapter into the power jack of the Notebook PC.
7. Insert the AC end to the wall outlet
8. Check the connections above correctly before turning on the Notebook PC.
DO NOT remove the Notebook PC if the SSD is being read or written, that
may result in the loss of the data and the damage of the disk. Follow the
system steps to turn off the Notebook PC.
Your Notebook PC and the accessories may differ from the pictures
shown.
Not Recommended to use two or more USB ports for connecting the
removable devices with high power consume (e.g: USB hard drive) at the
same time when using the Battery Pack to power the unit.

5-2 Adjust the Brightness of LCD Screen
The Notebook PC uses an active matrix TFT LCD and provides a Display (Monitor)
Output Port to connect the external monitor. The Notebook PC supports the function to
adjust the LCD Screen through the following composite buttons.

LCD Screen is made of glass and may be damaged if the Notebook PC is
dropped or shoves any hard object.

5-3 Keyboard Usage
The Notebook PC’s integrated the keyboard
with 78 keys.
Click the numeric/symbol keys to input the
desired keys after starting the keyboard.
Press <Fn+NumLk> key to enable the
keypad, the light indicates that the
keypad is active; press < Fn+NumLk> key
again to disable the keypad.
Each key on the keyboard may have multiple functions in different software.
Function Keys
These function keys with the color word or icon sign means that their function only
can be activated when clicking the function key and the <Fn> key at the same time.
<Fn>+<F1>：Enable or disable the camera function.
<Fn>+<F2>：Enable or disable the WiFi.
<Fn>+<F3>：Turn on or turn off the mute.
<Fn>+<F4>：Turn down the volume.
<Fn>+<F5>：Turn up the volume.
<Fn>+<F7>：Decrease brightness of LCD Screen.
<Fn>+<F8>：Increase brightness of LCD Screen.
<Fn>+<F9>：F11.
<Fn>+<F10>：F12.
5-4 Connecting the HDMI-equipped Device
Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the
HDMI port of the unit, the other end to the
HDMI port of the device, as shown right:
Before connecting, switch the digital device
display to be HDMI mode.

6 Upgrading Your Notebook PC
6-1 Connect the External Monitor
The Notebook PC supplies a VGA port for connecting External Monitor or projective
device.
6-1-1 How to connect the External Monitor

6-1-2 Connect Keyboard and Mouse
The Notebook PC’s integrated the keyboard with 78 keys. If you want to use the
external keyboard or mouse, connect the external keyboard and external mouse by the
USB port.
When you disconnect the external keyboard or external mouse from the
computer, grasp the connector, not the cable itself, and pull firmly but
gently to avoid damaging the cable.
6-1-3 Connect Audio Device
The Notebook PC can be connected
headphone, sound box and microphone.

The speaker will turn off automatically after connecting the external
headphone to the Notebook PC. Excessively loud volume could damage your
hearing. So turn down the volume before connecting earphone, and then raise
the volume to comfortable level.
6-2 Enter the BIOS Setup Menu
Follow the below steps to enter the BIOS Setup Menu:
5. Click F2 button quickly during loading the system, then the system will enter “Setup
Utility” as shown below:
6. Click the left/ right direction keys to select “Boot” and click the Enter button to enter
the below menu:

7. Proceed to click F10 button to popup the dialogue box and select “Yes” firstly, then
click the Enter button to save the setting and exit the system as shown below:
Click F9 button to setup defaults and select “Yes” to confirm.
8. There is no need to change the startup order and click F12 directly to select the
temporary startup option after turning on the unit.
The BIOS version would be updated occasionally. Once there is difference
from the manual, please be subjected to the actual operation.

7-1 Troubleshooting
Q1：How to turn off the Notebook PC when the halted system cannot warm boot?
A：Press the POWER button and hold 4 or 6 seconds to turn off the Notebook PC.
Q2：What can I do if I cannot turn on the Notebook PC?
A：1.If the power is low, connect to the electric outlets.
2. Check that the video display system is not in the external monitor mode.
3. Make sure the indicator of the adapter turns on and the adapter works well.
4. Remove the U disk, SD card and any other external device.
Q3：If you dropped water into the Notebook PC
A：1. DO NOT turn on the Notebook PC.
2. Disconnect the outlet cable and detach the Battery Pack in order to turn off the
Notebook PC, instead of pressing the POWER button to turn off it. Disconnect all
external devices.
3. Spill out the water from the Notebook PC. Use a soft and waterish paper or cloth
to wipe the surface of the Notebook PC lightly.
4. Use the fanner to dry the Notebook PC and the accessories, and then send to the
service center for advice.
5. DO NOT place the Notebook PC into the dirty carrying case to again.
Q4：Why the system cannot recover?
A：1.Damage from External memory or built-in memory: If the data are saved to an error
memory address, the data cannot restore.
2. Incompatible external device: The system may enter the standby mode and
cannot resume, when the incompatible external device is connected to the Notebook
PC.
3.Error from drive program or application program: The system may refuse to
operate some files (file formats: .dll, .sys, .exe and so on.) and enter the standby
mode or hibernate mode. If the incompatible application program will be refused by
the operating system, the system may fail to recover.
Q5：How to check the system which cannot recover?
A：1.Remove the external devices and their device program.
2.Refresh BIOS system
3.Refresh the appropriate program.
4.Remove the error application program.
5.Reinstall the operating system.
6.Send back the Notebook PC for checking.
Q6：How to prolong the life of the Battery Pack?
A：1. Adjust the brightness of the LCD Screen to proper level.
2. Turn down the volume.
3. Make the appropriate setting in the Power Management menu.

Q7: If the image isn’t clear
A: Check that the lens is clear or not, if not, clean with the soft cloth.
Q8: If the mobile moves slowly
A: The camera needs some light when gathering the data and the speed will be slow if
the light condition isn’t good. Please adjust the screen position of the Notebook PC or the
position of the user.
The image display also shall be slower by the heavy loading for the system when
the many applications are running. Please close the unused procedure.
Note:
Q7 and Q8 are the questions when you are using the camera for video capture,
conferencing, and chatting.
