INSTALLATION
Installation – Air outlet version
This operation must be carry on by the service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
•The Hood is fitted with a system that allows the direction of the air outlet to be adjusted.
•On installation, the Hood is set up with the air outlet in the Top position
(fig.1).
•To modify the position of the air outlet, remove the Comfort Panel (see paragraph on Maintenance).
•Remove the Grease Filters (see the paragraph on Maintenance).
•Remove the profile after unfastening the 4 screws that fix it to the Hood (fig.2).
•Remove any Activated Charcoal
Filters (see the paragraph on Maintenance).
•By removing the 6 upper screws, the 6 rear screws and the 2 screws on the inside of the Hood, it is possible to turn the Motor Unit with the bracket attached so that the air outlet points to the side (fig.3).
•To direct the air outlet to one of the various sides (fig.4) unfasten from the inside the screws that fix the upper part containing the motor to the rest of the Hood.
•Turn the upper part as required, to the right or left, and then refasten the screws removed as above from the inside (fig.5).
•Replace the profile, using the 4 screws removed as above.
•Replace the filters.
•Replace the Comfort Panel.

Drilling the Support surface and Fitting the Hood
•The Hood can be installed directly on the underside of wall-mounted units

•Create an opening in the bottom of the wall mounted unit, as shown
(fig.1), leaving a distance of at least
20mm from the front.
•Fit the two hood support brackets (fig.2) using the screws 12a (3.5 x 16) at a distance B of min. 85mm - max.
165mm. The brackets must be fitted differently according to the size of the hood to be mounted.
•Remove the Comfort Panel (see the paragraph on Maintenance).
•Remove the metal grease filters one at a time, releasing the fasteners provided (see the paragraph on Maintenance).
•Remove the profile after unfastening the 4 screws that fix it to the Hood (fig.4).
•Remove any Activated Charcoal
Filters (see the paragraph on Maintenance).
•Insert the Hood until it connects with the snap-on side Supports. (fig.3)
•Lock it in position by tightening screws Vf from underneath the
Hood. (fig.3)
•It is now possible to fasten the hood to the wall-mounted unit using the screws 12a (3.5 x 16) provided.
(fig.4).
•Replace the profile, using the 4 screws removed as above.
•Replace the filters.
•Replace the Comfort Panel.

DUCTED VERSION AIR EX-
HAUST SYSTEM
When installing the ducted version, connect the hood to the chimney using either a flexible or rigid pipe ø 150 or 120mm, the choice of which is left to the installer.
To install a ø 150 pipe
•To install the dumper 10
•Fix the pipe in position using sufficient pipe clamps (not supplied).
To install a ø 120 pipe
•To install a ø 120 mm air exhaust connection, insert the reducer flange
9 on the dumper 10.
•Fix the pipe in position using sufficient pipe clamps (not supplied).
•Remove any activated charcoal filters.

RECIRCULATION VERSION AIR
OUTLET
•Cut a hole ø 125 mm in any shelf that may be posi-tioned over the hood.
•Insert the flange 9 on the hood body outlet.
•Connect the flange to the outlet on the shelf over the hood using a flexible or rigid pipe ø120 mm.
•Fix the pipe in position using sufficient pipe clamps (not supplied).
•Fix the directional grille 8 on the recirculation air outlet using the 2 screws 12e (2,9 x 12,7) provided.
•Ensure that the activated charcoal filters have been inserted.
Electrical Connection
•Connect the hood to the mains through a two-pole switch having a contact gap of at least 3 mm.

MAINTENANCE
REMOTE CONTROL
The appliance can be controlled using a remote control powered by a 1.5 V carbon-zinc alkaline batteries of the standard LR03-AAA type (not included).
•Do not place the remote control near to heat sources.
•Used batteries must be disposed of in the proper manner.
Cleaning the Comfort Panels
•Pull the Comfort Panel to open it.
•Disconnect the panel from the hood canopy by sliding the fixing pin lever.
•The comfort panel must never be washed in a dishwasher.
•Clean the outside by using a damp cloth and neutral liquid de-tergent.
•Clean the inside as well by using a damp cloth and neutral de-tergent; do not use wet cloths or sponges, or jets of water; do not use abrasive substances.
•When the above operation has been completed, hook the panel back to the hood canopy and close it by turning the knob in the opposite direction.
Cleaning of the Metal Cassette Filters
Alarm reset
•Switch off the lights and extractor motor.
•Press button T3 for at least 3 seconds, until the leds start to flash.
Cleaning the filters
•Thefiltersarewashableandmustbecleaned at least every 2 months of operation, or more frequently for particularly heavy usage.
•Pull the Comfort Panel to open it.
•Remove the filters one at a time by pushing them towards the back of the group and pulling down at the same time.
•Wash the filters, taking care not to bend them. Allow them to dry before refitting.
•When refitting the filters, make sure that the handle is visible on the outside.

Activated charcoal filter (Recirculation version)
The filter is not washable and cannot be regenerated. It must be replaced when
EN led S1 flashes or at least every 4 months.
The alarm signal will only light up when the extractor motor is switched on.
Alarm signal activation
•In Recirculation version Hoods, the
Filter saturation alarm can be enabled on installation or at a later date. Turn the Lights and the suction Motor off.
•Disconnect the Hood using the Main switch or the double-pole switch on the mains power supply.
•Restore the connection by pressing and holding T1.
•Release the button. All five LEDs are turned on.
•Within 3 seconds press T1 until LEDs T1 and T4 flash in confirmation: -LED flashes twice - Activated charcoal filter saturation alarm ENABLED.
-LED flashes once - Activated charcoal filter saturation alarm DISABLED.
Reset the alarm signal
•Switch off the lights and extractor motor.
•Press button T3 for at least 3 seconds, until the leds start to flash.
Replace the Filter
•Pull the Comfort Panel to open it.
•Remove the metal grease filters
•Remove the saturated activated carbon filter by releasing the fixing hooks
•Fit the new filter by hooking it into its seating
•Replace the metal grease filters.
Light replacement
20 W halogen light.
•Extract the lamp from the lamp holder by pulling gently.
•Replace with another of the same type, making sure that the two pins are properly inserted in the lamp holder socket holes.

INSTALLATIE

• De minimale veiligheidsafstand tussen de kookplaat en de wasemkap bedraagt 650 mm (sommige modellen kunnen lager worden geïnstalleerd, raadpleeg de paragrafen afmetingen en installatie).
•Controleer of de netspanning correspondeert met de spanning die aangegeven is op het plaatje aan de binnenkant van de wasemkap.
•Voor apparaten van klasse I dient u zich ervan te verzekeren dat het elektriciteitsnet in uw huis over een goede aarding beschikt.
•Verbind de wasemkap met de luchtuitlaat door middel van een leiding met een diameter van 120 mm of groter. De leiding moet een zo kort mogelijke route afleggen.
•Sluit de wasemkap niet aan op afvoerpijpen van rook die geproduceerd is door verbranding (verwarmingsketels, open haarden etc.).
•Als er in het vertrek zowel de wasemkap als apparaten die niet op elektriciteit werken (bijvoorbeeld gasapparaten) worden gebruikt, moet ervoor worden gezorgd dat het vertrek voldoende geventileerd wordt. Indien de keuken geen gat in de buitenmuur heeft om de aanvoer van schone lucht te garanderen, dient dit gemaakt te worden.
GEBRUIK
•De wasemkap is uitsluitend ontworpen voor huishoudelijk gebruik, voor het elimineren van kookgeuren. Gebruik de kap nooit op oneigenlijke wijze.
•Laat geen hoog brandende branders onbedekt onder de wasemkap
terwijl deze in werking is.
•Regel de vlammen altijd zo dat ze niet langs de pannen omhoogkomen.

ONDERHOUD
•Alvorens onderhoudswerkzaamheden uit te voeren, moet de wasemkap uitgeschakeld worden door de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen of de hoofdschakelaar om te zetten.
•Voer het onderhoud van de filters altijd tijdig en nauwgezet uit,volgens de aanbevolen intervallen (Brandgevaar).
•Om de oppervlakken van de kap schoon te maken is het voldoende een vochtige doek en een neutraal reinigingsmiddel te gebruiken.
Het symbool op het product of op de verpakking wijst erop dat dit product niet als huishoudafval mag worden behandeld. Het moet echter naar een plaats worden gebracht waar elektrische en elektronische apparatuur wordt gerecycled. Als u ervoor zorgt dat dit product op de correcte manier wordt verwijderd, voorkomt u mogelijk voor mens en milieu negatieve gevolgen die zich zouden kunnen voordoen in geval van verkeerde afvalbehandeling. Voor meer details in verband met het recyclen van dit product, neemt u het best contact op met de gemeentelijke instanties, het bedrijf of de dienst belast met de verwijdering van huishoudafval of de winkel waar u het product hebt gekocht.

Installatie luchtafvoer
Deze werkzaamheid moet door de
NL technische servicedienst worden uitgevoerd, of in elk geval door een persoon met een gelijkwaardige kwalificatie om elk gevaar te voorkomen
•De afzuigkap is uitgerust met een systeem waarmee de luchtafvoer gericht kan worden.
•Op het moment van de installatie bevindt de luchtafvoer van de afzuigkap zich bovenaan (afb.1).
•Om de positie van de luchtafvoer te veranderen, moet het Confort Panel worden verwijderd (zie paragraaf Onderhoud).
•Verwijder de vetfilters (zie paragraaf
Onderhoud).
•Demonteer het profiel door de 4 bevestigingsschroeven aan de afzuigkap los te draaien (afb. 2).
•Verwijder eventuele actieve koolstoffilters (zie paragraaf Onderhoud).
•Door de 6 bovenste schroeven, de 6 achterste schroeven en de 2 schroeven in de kap te verwijderen, kan de motorunit met de beugel worden gedraaid en kan de luchtafvoer naar de zijkant worden verplaatst (afb. 3).
•Om de luchtafvoer naar de verschillende zijden te richten (afb. 4), moeten de schroeven die het bovenste deel met de motor aan de rest van de afzuigkap bevestigen, van binnenuit worden losgeschroefd.
•Draai het bovenste gedeelte naar wens naar rechts of naar links en schroef de eerder verwijderde schroeven weer vast (afb. 5).
•Monteer het profiel weer met de 4 eerder verwijderde schroeven.
•Monteer de filters weer.
•Monteer het Confort Panel weer.

Gaten boren in het draagvlak en monteren van de afzuigkap
•De afzuigkap kan rechtstreeks op de onderplaat van de keukenkastjes worden geïnstalleerd (min. 650 mm van het kookvlak) met de zijsteunen met klikbevestiging en de bijgeleverde schroeven.
•Maak een inbouwgat in de onderplaat van het keukenkastje zoals afgebeeld (afb.1) en houd een afstand van minstens 20 mm vanaf de voorkant.
•Breng de twee steunbeugels (afb.2) voor de afzuigkap aan met behulp van de schroeven 12a (3,5 x 16) op een afstand B van min. 85mm - max. 165mm. De beugels moeten al naar gelang de maat van de te
installeren afzuigkap worden gemonteerd.
•Verwijder het Confort panel (zie paragraaf Onderhoud).
•Verwijder de vetfilters één voor één door de haken los te maken (zie paragraaf Onderhoud).
•Demonteer het profiel door de 4 bevestigingsschroeven aan de afzuigkap los te draaien (afb. 4).
•Verwijder eventuele actieve koolstoffilters (zie paragraaf Onderhoud).
•Plaats de afzuigkap tot deze vasthaakt op de zijsteunen met klikbevestiging. (afb.3)
•Blokkeer de afzuigkap definitief door de schroeven Vf vanaf de onderkant van de afzuigkap aan te draaien.

•Nu kan de afzuigkap definitief aan het keukenkastje worden bevestigd met behulp van de bijgeleverde schroeven 12a (3,5 x 16). (afb.4).
•Monteer het profiel weer met de 4 eerder verwijderde schroeven.
•Monteer de filters weer.
