stairs and they ar e n ot carpeted, you sho uld operate the unit to see that the unit can detect the step without falling over the edge. It may beco me necessary to place a p hy sical barrier at the e dge to keep the unit from falling over the d ro p but make sure the physica l bar ri er is high enou gh so that you or a family membe r wi ll not trip on the ba rr ier and cause the mselves injury.

Do not open the equipment. Th e co mp onents inside the robot host are beyond repair by user himself. This product is only for domestic use, not su it ab le for industry or outdoor surroundings.

Any inconsistent operation with this guid e wo ul d probably cause serious damage to both human bei ng a nd t he
machine itself.
Power Supply for the Product

The power supply is from a Ni-MH chargeable bat te ry inside the host of the
robot and it is specially assigned with a charg in g bl ock to do recyclable charge.
Please double check the marked supply volta ge o n th e charging block and
make sure it is applied according to the instru ct ions.
Do not use the damaged power cord or plug, while co nt ac t our after-sales
service or find our authorized supplier to ma in ta in.
As the charging block is heavy, pl ea se never drag the block via pulling it’s
power cord.
● Remember never twist, swing or screw the powe r co rd e xcessively. Neither block it when close the door. Also we sho ul d no t put heavy things on the robot as well.
Do not let power cord touch hot or sharp surfaces .
Do not draw out the plug by pulling the cord.
Keep wet hands away from the plug or machine.

Pull the plug out of socket when you no longer use th e ch ar ging block for some time.
Use dry cloth to wipe the dust on the plug frequent ly.

The Spectrum of the Product Use
The robot is applicable to domestic sweepin g, i nc luding wooden floor, rubber floor, ceramic tile, linoleum and med iu m or s horthaired carpet. However, it is inapplicable to longhaired ca rp et .
It can not be used for the floor as below:
---- Hav e wa te r on the surface ( including flammabl e li qu ids) , such
as wet floor.
---- Ins id e to ilet, shower room or other humid situation.
---- Sta ir ca se.
---- The r oo m wi th furnace or flame.
The following objects are definitely forb id de n:
---- Not e xt in guished soot, burning cigarette butts or matc h, b ec ause
these objects would cause fire.
---- Sha rp o bj ects like glass debris, pin, paper clip, stones, gypsum, and large piece of paper. Thes e th in gs may block the machine.
---- Water or other kind of liq ui d, e specially detergent, kerosene, petrol, paint, alcohol, perfume, as well as c ar pet or floor cleaning solution. It would make the interior of the machine wet, so t ha t may cause short­circuit.
---- The t on er o f laser printer and copier which may bring fire and explosion.
Please keep the machine away from hot source su ch a s oven and fireplace, because the hot can distort th e cr us t.
● Do not use the machine in the surroundings with a ny e xp losion risk. For example, at gas station, oil depot, che mi ca l plant and so on.
Never use the machine outdoors. As rain or solid dust may get inside i t an d cause damage.
Do not repair or change any performance by your se lf .
Do not throw or bend the machine.
Do not dampen it, or else the short-circuit wou ld c ause fire or electric
shock accident.
Take care of routine maintenance and keep it in a cle an p la ce.
Do not expose the machine in the extreme hot or col d su rroundings. This
product is not allowed to long-time kept in the t em perature below zero or over thirty degree.
Do not keep the machine in the liquid or expose it to h ig h hu midity.
Do not place the machine close to burning cigar et te o r fire.

Take extra care of the robot when the first it work s. P le ase remove the
obstacles when it is beyond the robot.
Make precautions to solve the problem which m ay m ak e the cleaning in
trouble, such as:

---- The f la mmable object should be cut from the fire source.
---- Sor t ou t the tangled power cord on the floor.

Battery Replacement and Disposal
● Take good care of the product and keep it beyond chil dr en a nd people who cannot judge danger nearby. Extra attenti on s ho uld be paid when the robot starts working.
You should g et t he p eople inside the room know that the machine is work in g to avoid man-made damage like damaging.
● Do not take robot as toy. Care fu ll y attention should be paid when child or pet is around.
The plastic package may bring danger of asphy xi a an d is supposed to keep away from children.
You should c on ta ct our after-sales when you want to change the batt er y. It will cause explosion if you use the wrong batte ry.
There is potential danger if you use other prod uc er 's battery and charging block, which is not within our warranty.

4.Robot Charging
Placement of charging block
Put the block at an even place and make the base perp en di cular to the ground.
Meanwhile, take a look at the marked electric it y voltage to make sure the
product is used under instruction.

There should not be any object at least 1.5 meter in front of the charging
block. Besides, anything with strong reflector is not supposed to stay ahead of
the infrared receiver. For example, ground glass, smooth ceramic vase and so
on. Otherwise, the machine shall not detect t he c harging block.
Tips: Plea se do not put the charg ing block to the staircase to avoid acci dental cases.
You need to charge the robot the first time it wor ks . Put away the full
charged battery for use to ensure its perfo rm an ce.
Charging duration should be around 4~6 hour s.
Charging is only allowed under the temperat ur e be tween 0 and 45 degree,
and extreme hot or co ld would extend ch arging duration or even cause the damage of the battery.
Tips:
To mak e sure the robot is w or king in saturation, we su gg est you to keep charging connected even though the charging indicator lasts lighting. At the sam e time, the system would trans fe r to weak current for supplementary charging.

According to ac tu al ground situation, robot can keep working for around 45 minutes after being charged full.
The capacity of battery, whic h is not used for long time, will get certain decrease, so the use time can be shorte n ac cordingly.

Automatic Cleaning Mode
Stat us instruction:
The details of three statuses mentioned as be ll ow ing:
Working status: robot is doing cleaning job
Standby status:
Case one: press button but without any oper at io n.
Case tw o: press button or any other button on host when robot i s running.
Case three: lift the robot.
Power off status: robot is not power o n, or under working or s tandby status, press button, robot is power off.

Fixed Point Cleaning Mode
Route description: under this mode, robot runs from inside in s pi ral way and focused on th e certain point to clean fo r one time. The cleaning coverage is a round shape with diameter of 1.2 meter.

Under this mode, robot he lp s to clean the corner of wall, table, sofa and bed where it is beyond the mode of automat ic c le aning.
The op eration of this mode takes around 25 minutes and then robot goes back charging by itself.
This mode is applicable to certain area with pl en ty o f dust.
Under common circumstance, the cycle of o ne fi xed point cleaning takes ar ou nd 6 minutes. During op er ation, if robot continually meets obstacle or detects st ai rc ase, it wo ul d shi ft to avoid obstacle and staircase, and then turn back to work under thi s mo de.
Intensive Cleaning Mode
Route description: go back charging before run off t he b attery.

When robot detects the low battery, it will go back charging automatically.
To make it easy for robot to search for charging bloc k, y ou need to put the
block back to the wall and make sure there is no obst ac le within 1.5 meters ahead of the infrared receiver. Check carefu ll y wh ether there is strong reflector in front of the charger, such as gro un d gl ass, smooth ceramic vase and so on.
It takes time for robot to seek the charger. Rob ot c an r eserve enough
battery to go back to the charging block.
If put the robot in a strait room, please make su re t ha t there is enough
space for robot to go back charging.
Robot can return to the charger if the ground sit ua tion is not too
complicated, Under extreme circumstan ce , such as, huge house, complex layout would bring diff iculty for robot to seek for charger. So, you should help to put the robot back to the chargi ng b lo ck.
Please take care of the first automatic cha rg in g, if you find the robot keeps turning in the certain area after trying seve ra l ti mes to seek back, you can help to place it on the charging block and look thr ou gh t he charging.
When the robot goes back charging, the main bru sh w il l stop working. And robot shall stay at the charger when it finis he s ch arging and it transfer to small currency to charge until yo u st art operating.
8. Appointment Timing

Under normal circumstance, time display o n LC D sh ows current time.

Set Frequency and Cancel Timing
Tips:
Robot will turn to the automatic mode when the ap po in ted time coming.
If the robot is working under border mode or fixe d- point mode, when the appointed time coming, robot will not operate appointment cleaning unt il t he n ext time coming.

Host Cleaning
You should k ee p ro bot stay at charger even though it finishes charg in g, because it will change to small currency to sup pl em ent charging.
Charge the robot until full battery and put it ba ck t o th e package if you do not need to use it for ling time. Keep the package i n dr y surroundings to avoid sunshine or humidit y.
Turn off the power before cleaning the host.
Draw out the plug of charger before cleaning th e bl oc k.

Dust Box Cleaning

Do not use petrol or oil-like to clean the surfac e, w hile you can use water or neutral detergent to scrub. Make sure you us e dr y cloth to wipe, because any water is not allowed to infiltrat e in to the machine.
Please follow the belowing steps:

Sponge Filter and Dust Box Cleaning
Open the lock at the bottom of dust box.
Pour out the dust on sponge filter.
If there is too much dust
along dust box, you can put
the box under running
water to get rid of the dust
(make it dry under
sunshine for 24 hours). Put
it back into the host after
the box and sponge filter is
completely dry.

Sponge Filter Replacement
1. Open the cover of the Deebot, take out the dust box.
2. Push aside the lock catch of the dust box ,then open the dust box and clean it.
3. Extract the axle of the dust box’s cover.
4. Replace the sponge filter and fix the cover ,then put it back into Deebot.
Main Brush Cleaning
Undo the screw fixed on the main brush.

Remove the hair and dust which is in-between the belt.
Tips: Clean the main brush af te r it h as operated for 4 or 5 recycles.

Take off the frame of main brush. Take out one side of main
brush from the belt.

Rip off the hair on main brush (with equipped roll brush cleaning gadget to break off th e hair on main crush along the groove.
Wipe the dust on the roller and put it back.

Side Brush Cleaning

Side brush is a kind of easy wear part. We suggest you to check it every time it takes cleaning task. Please change it if nece ss ary.
Note
The host will alarm when the side brush tangles a nd t he lights.
Replace Sidebrush
Please remove the screws, and take out the side brush.
Please replace the side brush when it is destro ye d.
Driving Wheel Cleaning
Please use the roll brush cleaning gadget to re mo ve t he dust or hair on driving wheel.
If the wheel is tangled by hair or cloth, the host wi ll a larm and it will show on LCD as .
Up-ground Height Sensor Cleaning
Up-grou nd heig ht sens or
Up-ground height sensor is on the front botto m of r obot. It can detect the height difference withi n 8 ce nt imeters. We suggest you to wipe t he o pt ical board with dry cotton cloth after it finish es t as k to prevent the dust piling on it which would affect its perf or ma nce.
Please push the new side brush into the correct position.
Note:
Tight the s cr ews.
1. Turn off the power and remove t he t rash.
2. Invert the robot,and then put it on the even a nd c le an platform.
3. Use dry cotton cloth to wipe three optical b oa rd o f up-ground.

Dust Sensor Cleaning
The dust sensor is located at the front of dust entrance. It is able to detect the concentr at io n of dust so that it can choose effi ci ent mode to work. We suggest you to clean dust se ns or o nce you clean dust box to improve work effi ciency.
1. Turn off power.
2. Take out dust box and clean it.
3.Wipe the dust sensor with dry cotton cloth.

The robot will stop working and be alarm and tip so un d at t he same time. Please do as bellowing to solve the pr ob le m.

The trouble may be as follows:
1.It is tangled by power cord.
2.It is tangled by hanging curtain or fringe. Too many obstacles before the robot.
