High-Precision ADVANCED Super Linear Converter

The DMD-1000 has been equipped with DENON's ADVANCED Super Linear Converter (ASLC) - a high accuracy D/A conversion system for maximum low level resolution and widest dynamic range. Found on Denon CD players, ASLC provides superb transparency and precise delineation of low level musical information.

Enhanced Dual-bit DELTA SIGMA 20-bit A/D Converter

The DMD-1000 uses a 64-times oversampling, enhanced Dual-bit Delta Sigma 20-bit A/D converter that features substantially improved dynamic range compared to the conventional 16 bit A/D converters used in other digital recorders for maximum signal to noise ratio.

discs that have been edited frequently. The total recordable time continues to decrease and it is no longer possible to completely fill the disc. The Disc Recovery function auto matically improves this situation so that most of the original recording time can be restored.

Auto REC Pause for Speedy Recording Operation

This function automatically recognizes a blank disc and sets the DMD-1000 in REC Pause (standby) mode. Simply insert a blank disc, and the recording operation can be performed immediately.

A Full Array of Input/Output Terminals

The DMD-1000's input terminals include two optical digital, one coaxial digital, and one analog input pair. The output terminals consist of one optical digital and one analog output pair.
