Important information

Please carefully read the following instructions and information before first using your new helmet. This helmet was developed for use with skateboards, inline skates, roller skates and similar groups, and manufactured according to state of the art. Despite maximum safety standards, serious accidents may result in injuries. In some cases, the impact may be so strong the helmet does not effectively protect the rider from head injuries.

Compliance with the requirements according to Annex II of European Directive 89/686/EEC (and subsequent amendments) as well as those of harmonizing technical standard EN 1078 was certified by the issuing authority TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH, Tillystr. 2, D-90431 Nürnberg, Germany, Notified Body No 0197.

Intended use

This product was manufactured for skateboarding, inline skating, roller skating and similar groups. It is not suitable for other sports or motorcycling.

Safety notices

•Never allow children to wear this helmet whilst rock-climbing or other activities where there is a strangulation hazard!

•The helmet must be firmly seated and the chin strap closed tightly.

•Do not shift the helmet toward the neck, as this will leave your forehead unprotected.

•Do not wear headgear under the helmet.

•Be sure not to restrict air circulation.

•Never modify the helmet, its structure or the individual components.

•Never paint the helmet and/or apply decals or labels.

•The impacts of paint, decals, cleaning liquids or other solvents can seriously impair the protection of the helmet.

•The helmet is intended to protect the head in the event of an impact. This protection is no longer warranted after just one (even minor) impact. The helmet must therefore immediately be replaced following an accident, even without visible damage.

•Never use solvents or abrasive cleaners containing petroleum to clean the helmet, neither inside nor outside. Always use a pHneutral detergent diluted in clear water; carefully rub with a soft cloth. Then dry with a lint-free cloth. The padding may be cleaned with a little soap, using a soft brush.

•Only use OEM replacement parts for your helmet.

Helmet sizing

•Measure the circumference of the head and select the helmet size accordingly. Try several helmets before deciding. Ideally, the skin over your temples moves along when wearing the helmet.

•Verify the helmet does not move much on your head even with chin strap loose.

•The chin strap must be closed firmly for a secure seat. It is fitted correctly when it is difficult to slide your fingers under the chin straps. However, you must still be able to comfortably breathe, swallow and turn your head.

•The helmet is seated correctly if it is tight, yet comfortable on your head (Fig. B).

•If the helmet is too large (wiggles, cannot be adjusted tightly enough) or too small (pinches, forehead exposed), please select the next larger or smaller size helmet.

•Never use the helmet if it cannot be adjusted correctly.

Adjusting the chin strap (Fig. C)

The general length of the chin strap can be adjusted with the loop. You may also use the strap divider clip to adjust the length of the chin strap. However, please be sure the strap divider does not bother you. We recommend positioning it at the end of the ear pad.

Headband width adjustment (Fig. D)

Use the wheel for variable adjustment to your head size to ensure the helmet is seated optimally. Turn the wheel clockwise to tighten the headband and counter-clockwise to loosen the headband.

Headband height adjustment (Fig. E)

The height of the headband system can be adjusted to fit.

There are 2 different height adjustments. Pull the headband system connection pins out of the locking points in the EPS shell. You can now attach the headband system pins in other locking points higher or lower. Push the pins into the locking points until you hear and feel them lock in. Both pins must always be locked in.

Maintenance and care

Regular maintenance and care contributes to ensuring the safety and preservation of the helmet.

•Always use a pH-neutral detergent diluted in clear water; carefully rub with a soft cloth. Then dry with a lint-free cloth.

•The padding may be cleaned with a little soap, using a soft brush.

Inner pads

•Hand wash below 30 °C.

Storage

Store the helmet in a dry, well ventilated location at room temperature when not in use. Avoid heat sources.

Disposal instructions

Please dispose of packaging and product in an environmentally friendly manner! Dispose of product through an approved disposal facility or through your local council. Please note the recycling regulations in your area.

The product was produced with great care and under constant supervision. You receive a three-year warranty for this product from the date of purchase. Please retain your receipt.

The warranty applies only to material and workmanship and does not apply to misuse or improper handling. Your statutory rights, especially the warranty rights, are not affected by this warranty. With regard to complaints, please contact the following service hotline or contact us by e-mail. Our service employees will advise as to the subsequent procedure as quickly as possible. We will be personally available to discuss the situation with you.

Any repairs under the warranty, statutory guarantees or through goodwill do not extend the warranty period. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Repairs after the warranty are subject to a charge.

Pomembne informacije

Pred prvo uporabo nove čelade pozorno preberite naslednje napotke in informacije. Ta čelada je namenjena uporabi na rolkah, rolerjih, kotalkah in podobnim skupinam ter je izdelana po

najnovejšem stanju tehnike. Kljub najvišjim varnostnim standardom se lahko pri težkih nesrečah pojavijo poškodbe. V določenih primerih je lahko trk tako silovit, da čelada voznika ne more učinkovito zaščititi pred poškodbami glave. Skladnost z zahtevami iz Priloge II evropske direktive 89/686/EGS (in poznejšimi spremembami) ter s harmoniziranim tehničnim standardom EN 1078 je preverila in potrdila pooblaščena organizacija TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH, Tillystr. 2, D-90431 Nürnberg, Nemčija, številka priglašenega organa 0197.

Predvidena uporaba

Ta izdelek je namenjen osebam, ki se vozijo z rolkami, rolerji in kotalkami, ter podobnim skupinam. Ni primeren za druge športne zvrsti ali motoriste.

Varnostni napotki

•Otroci ne smejo nositi čelade pri plezanju ali drugih vrstah igre, kjer obstaja nevarnost strangulacije!

•Čelada se mora dobro prilegati in podbradni trak mora biti trdno zapet.

•Čelade ne potiskajte na zatilje, saj v tem primeru čelo ni zaščiteno.

•Pod čelado ne nosite drugih pokrival.

•Prepričajte se, da kroženje zraka ni ovirano.

•Na čeladi, njegovi strukturi ali posameznih komponentah ne smete opravljati nikakršnih sprememb.

•Čelada ne sme biti prebarvana in/ali polepljena z nalepkami ali etiketami.

•Laki, nalepke, čistilne tekočine ali druga topila lahko resno zmanjšajo zaščitni učinek čelade.

•Naloga čelade je, da ob trku zaščiti glavo. Že po enem samem (četudi lažjem) trku te zaščite več ni mogoče zagotoviti. Po nesreči je treba čelado takoj zamenjati, tudi če ne kaže vidnih znakov poškodb.

•Čelada se ne sme niti od zunaj niti od znotraj nikoli čistiti s topili ali abrazivnimi sredstvi, ki vsebujejo petrolej. Za čiščenje vedno uporabite pH-nevtralno čistilo, razredčeno z vodo, in previdno drgnite z mehko krpo. Nato površino obrišite do suhega s krpo, ki ne pušča kosmov. Oblazinjenje se lahko očistiti z nekaj mila in mehko krtačo.

•Za čelado uporabljajte le originalne nadomestne dele.

Izbira velikosti čelade

•Izmerite obseg glave in nato izberite ustrezno velikost čelade. Preizkusite več čelad, preden se odločite. V idealnem primeru se koža na sencih premika skupaj s čelado.

•Prepričajte se, da se čelada tudi brez trdno napetega podbradnega traku le malo premika po glavi.

•Za varno pritrditev čelade je treba trdno zapeti podbradni trak. Podbradni trak je pravilno zapet, če pod njega le s težavo potisnete prst. Kljub temu mora trdno pripeta čelada še vedno omogočati udobno dihanje, požiranje in vrtenje glave.

•Čelada je pravilno pritrjena, če na glavi sedi trdno, a kljub temu udobno (slika B).

•Če je čelada prevelika (če se premika in je ni mogoče dovolj trdno pripeti) ali če je premajhna (pritiska, čelo ni zaščiteno), izberite naslednjo večjo ali manjšo velikost čelade.

•Če čelade ni mogoče ustrezno prilagoditi, je ne smete uporabljati.
