IMPORTANT: This unit is shipped WITHOUT GASO­ LINE or OIL After assembly, see operatiorr section of this manual for proper fuel and engine oil recommen­ dations,

NOTE: To determine right and left hand sides of your chipper-shredder, stand behind and face the hopper (engine is at the front of the unit)

Your chipper-shredder has been completely assem­ bled at the factory, except for the hopper assembly (hopper hood and upper leaf ramp section have been sub-assembled), upper guide assembly, chute deflec­ tor and the catcher bag. The hardware pack and safe­ ty glasses are also included in the carton.

The hardware pack contains the parts shown in figure 1 (shown full size).

Cut the corners of the carton. Remove ail packing inserts. Roll chipper-shredder out of the carton. Make certain all parts and literature have been removed before the carton is discarded.
