Quietness
You may have heard that Bosch is the quietest brand of dishwashers in the U.S.* and that there is no quieter dishwasher in any Bosch price point. Maybe you’re not hearing anything much at all. That’s because with three layers of sound-muffling material—metal, cotton-fiber insulation, and heavy-
duty bitumen sheets—and our suspended, two-pump motor system that dramatically reduces vibration and noise, Bosch has created a kind of quiet that screams German engineering.
Engineering a quiet response
Quietest brand
Noise is measured in decibels (dBA).
A whisper is about 30 dBA, and a normal conversation is about 60 dBA. As the quietest dishwashers in the U.S.,*Bosch has a silence rating as low as 39 dBA, equivalent to that of a library. All Bosch quiet levels are certified by an independent lab.

Two-pump motor system
By using two small pumps to individually wash and drain instead of a single large one, vibration and noise are dramatically reduced.

Most water-efficient

ActiveWater™
Technology that utilizes design, water pressure and efficiency to turn two gallons of water into the cleaning power of more than 1,300.
Flow-through water heater
Bosch dishwashers channel 100% of the water through tight coils in a confined heating chamber, which heats the water quickly and efficiently.
Half-load
Use this cycle when washing small, lightly soiled loads that fill half or less of the
dishwasher’s capacity. The Auto cycle uses sensor decisions to dramatically reduce energy and water consumption.

Quality testing
100% of our dishwashers are tested at our New Bern, North Carolina, factory, and go through 485 individual quality control tests before being shipped. We test dishwashers through their traditional lifespan, up to 4,000 wash cycles, the equivalent of 10 years’ use.
Self-latching door
Keep the door at the position you want it when you open your Ascenta dishwasher or load your dishes. The self-latching door holds at any position, and
if your door is open at less than 20°, the door will automatically close and click shut.

ActiveTab® system
Innovatively designed and integrated into the middle of the dishwasher, ActiveTab helps dissolve detergent tablets more efficiently and effectively.
Water softener
The ADA compliant dishwasher has a water-softening system that softens the water to the optimal level and eliminates spots caused by lime deposits left behind by hard water.
Triple filtration system
The triple-filtration system uses a three-step process to remove even the finest dirt particles from the washing cycle, for sparkling-clean dishes and glasses every time. And all three filter elements are self-cleaning for worryfree operation.

Place settings
Bosch designs its racks to accommodate even the largest dinner parties, with most
models able to hold up to 14 place settings in one load.
RackMatic®
The RackMatic upper-basket height adjustment allows for one-step adjustment of the racks when loaded. The rack has two simple steps to enhance loading flexibility to accommodate large platters and tall glasses.
Silverware basket
The removable silverware basket can be placed anywhere in the dishwasher, adding
space for other items. Plus, the Duo-flex basket can be split into two pieces, placed side- by-side or back-to-back, for the ultimate flexibility in loading.
