BlueLocar Basestation Antenna Manual
Usage
The Antenna of the BlueLocar Basestation Locating System fulfills the purpose of receiving and sending data from and to other devices of the BlueLocar Locating System. Such a device could be a BlueLocar RAY or BlueLocar MARLIN.
The Antenna is connected to the Basestation with the included cable. Make sure the plugs are screwed firmly to protect the contacts of the plugs and sockets from corrosion. In case the Antenna is not connected properly and cannot operate as intended, the Basestation will sound a buzzer-alarm and display a warning on its screen.
To ensure good range and signal strength, make sure that the Antenna is mounted as high as possible and is not covered from any side. This ensures that the antenna can receive signals from all directions. The higher the antenna is mounted, the better the range of the locating system.
