I. Functions and features

1. Dashing profile

6.LCD display

The luxurious LCD shows many parametes as temperature and flux, and modes, operate with mechanical keys, facile to operate. And it shows error codes as well, which is pratical for maintenance.

7. Multi-protections for safer operation

●Automatic flameout protection: Water heater cuts off gas supply automatically if there’s accidental flameout during working so as to avoid gas leakage and ensure safety and reliability.

●Timeout protection

Gas supply is automatically shut off and the burner is extinguished after continuous use for 45±3min. If further use is required, please turn off the water valve, then re-open it several seconds later. By then re-ignition will be available.

●Air-blast combustion design: Exhaust all fume to outdoor with certified DC stepless fan for safe operation. ●In addition it has overheat protection, over-pressure relief, anti-freeze protection, fan stop prevention,

dry heating prevention and flue pipe blockage prevention to ensure water heater running in normal condition.

Standard mode: the default mode when first power on is the standard mode, if the water pressure is high enough, it’ll achieve the set temperature by gas modulation, if the highest heat-input failed to gain that temperature, the water flow will then be reduced.

III. Pre-operation preparations

Please refer to the following steps during initial use.

1 Please turn the water-in knob to the largest extent.

3 Please plug the power cable into the socket or turn on the power distribution box.

2 Open the hot-water faucet to check water flow-out then close

the faucet.

4 Please turn the gas valve to the largest extent.

Warning

•Please don’t spray the bursting hot water to human body or head when using sprinkler, before doing that you should check with hands to make sure the water temperature is proper.

•In order to prevent scald, please confirm the hot water temperature with hand before enjoying bath/shower in case that the machine just produced hot water a moment ago, because there’s hot water retained in the pipe.

• No people except for the user is allowed to change the temperature setting arbitrarily, the sudden spurt of hot water may cause scald, while it doesn’t feel good if water temperature suddenly turns cold.

. Handle

4.1 Hot-water output

●Press the power button on the control panel to turn the LCD on. The screen flashes to show 42 for 3 seconds (Default temperature setting).

●Open the hot-water faucet, the burner inflames automatically and hot water flows out. (For the first running, open and close the hot-water faucet repeatedly till water heater inflames, to discharge air residue in the gas pipe.)

●The faucet is recommended to be turned to large extent. Otherwise ignition may be unavailable, or it may be flameout during the cold-water mixing process.

●The water heater adopts new safe and gas-saving technology. Gas will be cut off automatically after water heater works for 45±3min without interruption. Then burner is extinguished. If more service is required, just close the faucet for several seconds and restart, re-ignition will be available then.

4.2 Water temperature adjustment

●If both control panel and wireless remote controller are connected with water heater, please confirm if priority indication lamp is on.

●Temperature setting range of water heater is 35-70 . When temperature is within 35-48 ,tap the temperature setting button to increase or decrease temperature, it actually switches by 1 /tap. Right after the completion of temperature setting, temperature icon flashes for 3 sec and then stays still. If temperature is within 50-70 , tap the temperature setting button to increase or decrease the temperature by 5 /tap. And when temperature setting completes, temperature icon flashes for 10 sec and then stays still.

●We suggest that user shall turn the water flow modulation knob to lower extent in winter and to higher extent in summer, so as to keep the water temperature in moderate range for your comfortable use.

●If temperature setting cannot be reached because it is beyond range of gas modulation, such case

(is common in winter) shall not be regarded as quality defect. Turn down the water flow to achieve the set temperature.

4.3Bathtub water fill-in(only for control panel and wireless remote controller)

4.3.1Pre-operation preparations

●Close the drainage port in the bathtub.

●Please cover the bathtub lid if mounted. (Open the lid up to let water in)

4.3.2 Please follow the below filling steps if control panel is used.

A. Press the power supply button on the control panel. Then panel flashes to show water fill-in at 42

●The water volume range is within 0-990L (unit:10L) according to desire.

●After water fill-in volume be set, LCD flashes to show current setting and fill-in temperature for 8 seconds.

D. Open the water-out valve

If the mixing valve is used, please turn to hot-water position.

E. Please close the water-out valve when the beeper starts to buzz, the buzz indicates completion

of set volume. By then LCD flashes to show current volume setting for 8 seconds. Please stop filling.

Special note:

The water heater is provided without auto reach-and-stop function.

Default volume setting is 100L.

V.Operation attentions

A.Keep room ventilated

Open the window to ventilate the room during application of water heater.

B.Do not touch the fume exhaust pipe and/or surrounding parts to prevent scald from hot water when water heater is on or after work.

C.No outdoor use. This water heater is a product designed for indoor only. Don’t make it work outside because rainwater may penetrate the housing of the water heater and cause damage to it.

D. Countermeasures for abnormality

Please immediately close the gas valve and water-in valve if following abnormalities occurs during the water heater running. Find out the reason in accordance with statements in judgments and countermeasures of errors and abnormalities. If it’s unable to be solved, please contact our after-sale service center immediately.

E. Away from flammable matters

Gasoline, benzene and other flammable stuffs are strictly forbidden to be put near water heater.

F. Do not dismantle the water heater willfully

There are 220V electrical components and high-precision electronic components in the water heater, people except for authorized serviceman is not allowed to dismantle the housing to avoid electric shock and/or other unexpected loss.

G. Please close the gas valve after water heater stops.

VI. Anti-freezing attentions

6.1 If water residue is frozen in the water heater and no water flows out even if water-out valve is openning, please wait for natural defreezing.

Carefully check leakage of water-in and water-out pipes till water flows out from the valve. Then use the water heater as per correct operation procedure if no leakage is confirmed. To use water heater with frozen water residue can cause damage.

Damage from freezing is excluded from our warranty scope.

If water heater is to be idle for long term, please drain off residual water in pipes.

6.2 Indoor anti-freezing water heater is equipped with automatic heating unit to effectively avoid freezing. But please pay attention:

●Keep water heater energized. Anti-freezing function is not available without power supply.

●In extremely clod area , anti-freezing function is not available because electrical heating unit is not powerful enough.

●Anti-freezing function is only effective to water heater but not to water-in and water-out pipes.

●Only authorized servicemen and qualified personnels are allowed for installation to ensure safety, reliability and correct use.

●Installation must comply with regulations and rules by local gas governing authority.

●If water heater is installed and used with inconformed gas, fire accident and blast combustion may occur or incomplete combustion can produce CO that leads to poisoning.

7.4 Installation site

●Install the water heater at well-ventilated site. The flue must be fitted with fume exhaust pipe whose outlet is located outside. It is necessary to open the window or door for smooth ventilation especially when range hood is working at the same time.

●Make sure the water heater installation is definitely away from cabinet, closet, chest, cupboard, curtain or other flammable materials.

●Installation over cooktop or other source of heat is forbidden.

●It’s forbidden to install water heater near electrical appliances or flammable materials (as gasoline, organic solvent) & corrosive

chemicals (as alcohol and muriatic acid), for prevention of fire accident and corrosion to the machine.

●Please keep a distance of at least 20cm away from both sides of water heater to ensure normal working and easy maintenance.

7.5 Flue gas exhaust

●Optimum performance of fume exhaust is guaranteed with our exhaust pipe, which is special designed for gas water heater. Do not change the structure or shape of the exhaust pipe.

●The distance between installation site and terminal of exhaust pipe must be within confined range. ●Fore-end of exhaust outlet (terminal) must be exposed. in the open air.

●Front end of exhaust pipe must be mounted with 1/50 inclination downward. ●Please install the extending pipe with 1/50 inclination down the horizon. ●Do not place any hazardous materials near terminal of exhaust pipe.

7.7 Water heater installation

1.Drill the wall and insert 2xΦ8 expansion pipes as per the sketch map and the drawn pitch for suspending installation holes.

2.Fix the hanger support with 2xΦ4x50 wood screw to the wall.

3.Suspend the water heater on the hanger support.

Attention

The supporting wall bears a 16kg weight of the water heater, please take reinforcement actions in case of strength deficiency.

7.8 Fume exhaust pipe installation

7.8.1 Installation attentions

●The water heater must be mounted with fume exhaust pipe with ID Φ60mm/Φ100mm, please do not use fume exhaust pipe of other diameter.

●Fume exhaust pipe is allowed to have extension of 2m/1bent at most.

7.8.2 Typical installation case

●In order to settle the problem that fume exhaust hose is short in water heater installation, our company particularly offers two options for extension pipe, 500mm and 1000mm. If extension is required, please purchase it from local subsidiary or franchisor.

8.1 Non-error cases

8.2 When flame symbol on the control panel disappears

●During use if the flame symbol on the control panel disappeared, it means safety protection be activated. Display flashes to show the error code from E1 to E8. Then user can know the cause for error and/or abnormality according to the indicated code.
