PreventFire

Donotdryitemsthathavebeenpreviouslycleanedin,soakedin,or spottedwithgasoline,cleaningsolvents,kerosene,cookingoils,waxes,etc.Donot storetheseitemsonornearthedryer.Thesesubstancesgiveoffvaporsorchemical reactionsthatcouldigniteorexplode.

Topreventfire,donotuseheattodryitemscontainingplastic,foam rubberorsimilarlytexturedrubber-likematerials,oritemscontainingfeathersor down.UseAirFluff(NoHeat)only.

Cleanthelintscreenbeforeoraftereachload.Theinteriorofthe dryer,lintscreenhousingandexhaustductshouldbecleanedapproximatelyevery 18monthsbyqualifiedservicepersonnel.Anexcessiveamountoflintbuild-upin theseareascouldresultininefficientdryingandpossiblefire.SeeCareand Cleaning,page6.

Donotoperatethedryerifthelintscreenisblocked,damagedor missing.Firehazard,overheatinganddamagetofabricscanoccur.Ifyourdryerhas adryingrack,alwaysreplacethelintscreenwhenfinishedusingthedryingrack.

Keepareaaroundtheexhaustopeningandsurroundingareasfree fromtheaccumulationoflint,dustanddirt.
