Curtain Rod Installation

The curtain rod cups are installed with (2) rod cups, (4) 8/32” x 1 1/2”
Phillips head screws, and (4) lock nuts

1) Mark and drill the location where you will be installing the cup holders.
This should allow the curtain to fall inside the threshold and hang just above the floor.
Apply silicone (silicone cauking with microban) to drilled holes on the shower wall,
front and back.

2) Put the 2 screws through the rod cup and then put the rod cup into place and hand
tighten the nuts on the backside of the unit.

3) Hold the rod cup with one hand and tighten the screws in place, keeping the rod cup
straight.

4) Cut the excess from the screws off the backside of the unit, so they do not stick out
past the nailing flange of the unit and apply silicone to the nuts.

5) Repeat for other rod cup.

6) The curtain rod can now be cut to fit the unit. Measure the inside of the unit, right
above the threshold.

7) Once the measurement is determined, subtract 3/4” off the total measurement.

8) Cut the curtain rod and snap each end into the rod cups.
