Application Method

3MFastbondContact Adhesive and 3MScotch-Grip Contact Adhesive can be spray, brush, or roller applied.

Key Application Requirements

Ideal for bonding decorative laminate to particleboard for kitchen and commercial countertops, table work surfaces, building panels and trade show displays.

Water-based systems offer:

Non-flamability in the wet state

Fast initial bond, allowing most parts to be handled immediately after bonding, thus helping expedite production and lower costs

High coverage - gives three to four times the coverage of a typical solvent-based contact adhesive

Post-formable - compatible with most current manufacturing processes

Solvent-based systems offer:

Broad substrate adhesion, including many metals

Fast drying - bonds are typically made in five to ten minutes

Excellent creep resistance

Moisture resistance
