Easy to use/quick to apply: 3MVHBTape 4929 is applied to the cleaned


top surface of the rack and pressurized. The liner is removed and the taped


rack is pressed onto the cleaned glass door.


Aesthetically pleasing: The VHB tape system of attachment provides a clean,


smooth finish to the finished refrigerator assembly.


Long-lasting: Specially formulated adhesive and tape construction provides a


strong, lasting bond between the rack and the glass door.


Withstands environmental conditions: VHB tape maintains its holding power


even in the cool moist refrigerated environment.


Helps damp vibration: The viscoelastic properties of the foam core help damp


vibration between the rack and the door during repeated closures of the door.

Surface Preparation

IPA/Water should be used to clean all surfaces to be bonded. Abrasion is sometimes suggested, depending on the adhesion level determined in testing. Testing for adhesion levels is very important.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from the use or inability to use 3MVHBTape due to misuse, workmanship in application, or application or storage not in accordance with 3M recommended procedures.

If the 3MVHBTape is proved to be defective within the warranty period stated above, THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY, AT 3M’S OPTION, SHALL BE TO REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE OF OR TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE 3MVHBTAPE. 3M shall not otherwise be liable for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential, regardless of the legal theory asserted, including, but not limited to, contract, negligence, warranty, or strict liability.
