Easy to use/apply: 3MVHBTape is applied to the cleaned surface of the frame. The liner is removed and the metal skin is pressed against the taped frame.

Aesthetically pleasing: The VHB tape system of attachment provides a clean, smooth finish. Metal corrosion concerns are eliminated.

Long-lasting: Specially formulated adhesive and tape construction provides a strong, lasting bond between the skin and the frame.

Helps damp vibration: The viscoelastic properties of the foam core help damp vibration between the skin and the frame.

Resists environmental conditions: VHB tape withstand the cool temperatures and condensation of a refrigeration chamber.

Process

3MVHBTapes can be applied to the frame by hand. The liner is removed and the metal skin is pressed into place on the taped frame. A J-roller can be used to apply the appropriate pressure required to ensure good adhesive contact over

the entire skin/frame bonding areas.

3M warrants for 24 months from the date of manufacture that 3MVHBTape will be free of defects in material and manufacture. 3M MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from the use or inability to use 3MVHBTape due to misuse, workmanship in application, or application or storage not in accordance with 3M recommended procedures.

If the 3MVHBTape is proved to be defective within the warranty period stated above, THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY, AT 3M’S OPTION, SHALL BE TO REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE OF OR TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE 3MVHBTAPE. 3M shall not otherwise be liable for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential, regardless of the legal theory asserted, including, but not limited to, contract, negligence, warranty, or strict liability.
