3 - SAFETY PRECAUTIONS MESURES DE SECURITE PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

		3-1.		WHAT TO DO
		READ YOUR USER MANUAL AND ALL SUPPLEMENTS (IF ANY ENCLOSED) THOROUGHLY BEFORE OPER-
		ATING YOUR UNIT.
	E	1.	WEAR CLOSE FITTING, TOUGH WORK CLOTHING that will provide protection, such as long slacks or trousers,
	N		safety work shoes, heavy duty work gloves, hard hat, a safety face shield, or safety glasses for eye protection
			and a good grade of ear plugs or other sound barriers for hearing protection.
	G
		2.	REFUEL IN A SAFE PLACE. Open fuel cap slowly to release any pressure which may have formed in fuel tank.
	L
			Always wipe unit of fuel or oil spills before starting. To prevent a fire hazard, move at least 10 feet (3 meters) from
	I
			fueling area before starting.
	S 3.		COMPLY WITH ALL FIRE PREVENTION REGULATIONS. COMPLIANCE WITH ALL LOCAL, STATE, OR FED-

HERAL LAWS IN THE UNITED STATES IS THE USER’S RESPONSIBILITY. Your unit comes with a spark arrester screen furnished in the user kit. Replacement spark arrester screen kits are available at your nearest McCulloch Authorized Service Center listed under “SAWS” in your Telephone Directory Yellow Pages.

4.TURN UNIT OFF before setting it down, and also before installing or removing attachments.

3-1. CHOSES A FAIRE

N		soulager la pression éventuellement accumulée dans le réservoir. Toujours essuyer le carburant ou l’huile ren-
C		versé avant de démarrer l’outil. Pour éviter les risques d’incendie, écarter l’outil d’au moins 3 mètres (10 pieds)
A		de l’endroit où le plein a été fait avant de faire démarrer le moteur.
I	3.	RESPECTER TOUTES LES REGLEMENTATIONS DE PREVENTION D’INCENDIES. LA CONFORMITE AVEC

SLES LOIS ET/OU REGLEMENTATIONS LOCALES, D’ETAT OU GOUVERNEMENTALES EST LA RESPONSABILITE DE L’UTILISATEUR. Un pare-étincelles est inclus dans le kit de l’utilisateur livré avec le souffleur. Des kits de remplacement de l’écran pare-étincelles sont disponibles auprès de votre Centre de réparation McCulloch agréé, dont vous trouverez le numéro de téléphone sous la rubrique «SCIES» des pages jaunes de l’annuaire.

4.ARRETER LE MOTEUR avant de poser l’outil, de même qu’avant de poser ou de déposer les accessoires.

3-1. QUE HACER

5.KEEP ALL SCREWS AND FASTENERS TIGHT and the unit in good operating condition. Never operate this equipment if it is improperly adjusted or not completely and securely assembled.

6.KEEP HANDLES DRY, clean and free of fuel mixture.

7.STORE EQUIPMENT AWAY FROM POSSIBLE IGNITION SOURCES, such as gas-powered water heaters, clothes dryers, or oil-fired furnaces, portable heaters, etc.

E	8.	ALWAYS KEEP the engine free of debris build-up.
N	9.	OPERATION OF EQUIPMENT should always be restricted to mature and properly instructed individuals.
G	10.	ALL PERSONS WITH RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS and persons operating blower in very dusty environments,
L		should wear a dust particle mask at all times. Paper dust masks are available at most paint and hardware stores.

	I	3-2. WHAT NOT TO DO
	S	1.	DO NOT USE ANY OTHER FUEL than that recommended in your manual. Always follow instructions in the
	H
			Fuel and Lubrication section of this manual. Never use gasoline unless it is properly mixed with 2-cycle
			engine lubricant. Permanent damage to engine will result, voiding manufacturer’s warranty.

2.DO NOT SMOKE while refueling or operating equipment.

3.DO NOT OPERATE UNIT WITHOUT A MUFFLER and properly installed muffler shield.

4.DO NOT TOUCH or let your hands or body come in contact with a hot muffler or spark plug wire.

5.VEILLER A CE QUE TOUTES LES VIS ET PIECES DE FIXATION SOIENT BIEN SERREES et que l’outil est en bon état de fonctionnement. Ne jamais utiliser l’outil s’il n’est pas correctement réglé et solidement assemblé.

6.VEILLER A CE QUE LES POIGNEES SOIENT PROPRES, sèches et non souillées de carburant.

7.ENTREPOSER L’EQUIPEMENT A L’ECART DES SOURCES D’ALLUMAGE telles que chauffe-eau à gaz, séchoirs à linge, chaudières à mazout, radiateurs portatifs, etc.

8.GARDER TOUJOURS le moteur exempt de débris.

9.L’USAGE DE L’EQUIPEMENT doit être exclusivement confié à des personnes mûres familiarisées avec son fonc-

		10. TOUTE PERSONNE AYANT DES PROBLEMES RESPIRATOIRES et toute personne utilisant la souffleur dans
	A	une environnement très poussierèux devrait porter tout le temps un masque de protection anti-poussière. Des
	N	masques en papier sont disponibles dans la majorité des quincailleries et des magasins vendant des outils et de
	C	la peinture.

A 3-2. CHOSES A NE PAS FAIRE

	I	1.	NE PAS UTILISER DE CARBURANT AUTRE que celui recommandé dans le manuel. Se conformer aux

			instructions de la section Carburant et lubrification. Ne jamais utiliser d’essence qui n’est pas mélangée à de
			l’huile pour moteur à 2 temps, ce qui causerait des dommages irréparables au moteur et entraînerait l’annulation
			de la garantie du fabricant.
		2.	NE PAS FUMER lors de l’approvisionnement en carburant ou pendant l’utilisation de l’outil.
		3.	NE PAS UTILISER L’OUTIL NON POURVU DU SILENCIEUX ou du capot silencieux correctement installés.
		4.	NE PAS TOUCHER ou laisser les mains ou une autre partie du corps entrer en contact avec l’échappement
			chaud ou le fil de la bougie.
		5.	MANTENER APRETADOS TODOS LOS TORNILLOS Y SUJETADORES, al igual que la unidad en buenas

Ñ3-2. QUE NO HACER

O1. NO UTILIZAR NINGUN OTRO COMBUSTIBLE que no sea el recomendado en el manual. Se deben seguir

	gasolina a menos que esté mezclada en forma adecuada con lubricante para motor de 2 ciclos. De lo contrario

2.NO FUMAR al estar reabasteciendo de combustible o mientras está operando el equipo.

3.NO OPERAR LA UNIDAD SIN EL MOFLE y si el protector del mofle no está bien instalado.

4.NO TOCAR ni dejar que las manos o el cuerpo entren en contacto con el mofle caliente o con los alambres de la bujía de encendido.

5.DUE TO THE DANGER of exhaust fumes, never operate blower in a confined or poorly ventilated area.

6.NEVER POINT BLOWER in the direction of people, animals, buildings, automobiles, or windows, etc.

7.DO NOT operate unit without inlet cover installed to prevent contact with impeller.

	E	8.	DO NOT set a hot engine down where flammable material is present.
	N
		9.	DO NOT OPERATE UNIT FOR PROLONGED PERIODS. Rest periodically.
	G	10.	DO NOT OPERATE UNIT WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.
	L	11.	DO NOT ADD, REMOVE OR ALTER ANY COMPONENTS OF THIS PRODUCT. Doing so could cause per-
	I		sonal injury and/or damage the unit voiding the manufacturer’s warranty.
	S	12.	DO NOT operate your unit near or around flammable liquids or gases whether in or out of doors. An explosion
	H		and/or fire may result.
		13.	DO NOT WEAR loose clothing, scarfs, neck chains, unconfined long hair, and the like. Doing so could cause
			injury associated with objects being drawn into the rotating parts.
		14.	DO NOT refuel a running engine or an engine that is hot.

C	11.	NE MODIFIER OU RETIRER AUCUNE PIECE OU COMPOSANT DE CE PRODUIT. Ceci pourrait causer des
