ECOSYS is Kyocera’s proven printing technology that eliminates the expense and waste of conventional cartridge systems. ECOSYS is a breakthrough in economical, ecological, and system printing.
The drum, developer and fuser of the FS-1030D are designed for 100,000 pages. Due to the fact toner is the only consumable required, the ECOSYS laser printers can print at extremely low cost per page when compared against comparable products from other manufacturers. The high capacity toner cassette for the FS-1030D lasts up to 7,200 A4 pages (at 5% coverage) delivering a very low cost per print.

By adding the optional network card to the FS-1030D, administrators can integrate the printer effortlessly into the office network and operate it as a cost-effective workgroup printer.
The powerful PowerPC 405 processor running at 266MHz processes information rapidly, preventing bottlenecks and allowing better use of engine power so the FS-1030D prints at optimum efficiency. The generous 32MB standard memory is more than sufficient to master complex print jobs – even in duplex mode.
