•During lighting and operation, this product can be a source of ignition. Never use the stove in spaces that contain or may contain volatile or airborne combustibles, or products such as gasoline, solvents, paint thinner, dust particles or unknown chemicals. Minimum clearances

from combustible materials: 24 inches from the sides and 48 inches from the top.

•Provide adequate clearances around air openings into the combustion chamber.

•Coleman® Liquid Fuel and gasoline are extremely fl ammable; handle with care. Fuel vapors are invisible, explosive, and can be ignited by ignition sources many feet away.

•Always fi ll outdoors.

•Never open a pressurized Coleman® fuel tank or fi ll fuel tank near fl ame (including pilot lights), or other ignition sources. It is normal for a pressurized fuel tank to vent a small amount of fuel mist when unscrewing the fuel cap. Be sure stove has no fl ame before unscrewing the fuel cap.

Other standards govern the use of fuel and heat producing products for specifi c uses. Your local authorities can advise you about these.

•This stove is a combustion appliance. All combustion appliances produce carbon monoxide (CO) during the combustion process. This product is designed to produce extremely minute, non-hazardous amounts of CO if used and maintained in accordance with all warnings and instructions. Do not block air fl ow into or out of the stove.

•Carbon Monoxide (CO) poisoning produces fl u-like symptoms, watery eyes, headaches, dizziness, fatigue and possibly death. You can’t see it and you can’t smell it. It’s an invisible killer. If these symptoms are present during operation of this product get fresh air immediately!

•For outdoor use only.

•Never use inside house, camper, tent, vehicle or other unventilated or enclosed areas. This stove consumes air (oxygen). Do not use in unventilated or enclosed areas to avoid endangering your life.

•Clean stove frequently to avoid grease accumulation and possible grease fi res.

•Check all connections for leaks. Liquid fuel present at connections indicates a leak.

WARNING

9.When stove is in use, all metal parts of the stove assembly and generator become extremely hot. DO NOT TOUCH.

10.Never place heavy or large capacity utensils on stove.

11.Keep out of reach of children.

recommend operating your new stove in a safe location outside your home to familiarize yourself with its multi-fuel operation before your next outdoor experience.

Helpful Hints

•Coleman® Liquid Fuel is recommended when using the stove in temperatures below 40° F or in high elevation.

•For best results, always use Coleman® Filter/Funnel Part No. 5103A700T.

•If necessary, unleaded gasoline may be substituted for Coleman® Liquid Fuel.

•Do not use kerosene in this stove.

To Set Up

Filling the tank

Always fi ll outdoors. Never fi ll tank, loosen or remove fuel cap while tank is on or attached to stove, near fl ame (including pilot lights), or other ignition sources.

■Close FUEL VALVE fi rmly. (Fig. 1)

■Close PUMP KNOB fi rmly. (Fig. 1)

■Remove FUEL CAP. Use a funnel or suitable fi lling device and fi ll with clean, fresh fuel.

■Replace FUEL CAP on tank and on fuel container. Tighten fi rmly.

WIPE UP ANY SPILLED FUEL AND DISPOSE OF IN A SAFE PLACE.

Pumping

■Place thumb over hole in pump knob and pump approximately 30 full strokes. (Fig. 7)

	■ Be sure FUEL VALVE is OFF
	■ Be sure FUEL VALVE is OFF	Leak Check
	(Fig. 4) and FUEL CAP is fi rmly	Leak Check
	closed (Fig. 5).

■ Make sure FUEL VALVE is fully “OFF”.

■ CHECK FOR LEAKS in one or more ways. Look for fuel mist or a wet appearance of fuel on surfaces. Listen for hiss of escaping gas. Smell for fuel odor. Never use a fl ame. Do not use if leaking. (Fig. 9)

Installing Tank

■Insert GENERATOR into large hole on front of stove and into mixing chamber above burner. Engage TANK CLIPS into slots on front of stove. (Fig. 10)

■Swing WIND BAFFLES out and insert the WIRE CLIPS into slots in ends of stove. (Fig. 11)

Lighting Main Burner

WARNING

•Perform leak test outdoors.

•Extinguish all open fl ames.

•NEVER leak test when smoking.

•Do not use the outdoor stove until connection has been leak tested and does not leak.

WARNING

•BURN HAZARD

•Never leave stove unattended when hot or in use.

•Keep out of reach of children.

NEVER FILL OR LIGHT STOVE INSIDE HOUSE, CAMPER, OR TENT.

■Close AUXILIARY VALVE (OR VALVES). Turn LIGHTING LEVER to UP position. (Fig. 12 & 13)

STANDARD VERSION STOVE:

■Hold lit match at MAIN BURNER before opening the FUEL VALVE. Open FUEL VALVE quickly, at least two full turns. (Fig. 14)

ELECTRONIC IGNITION

VERSION STOVE:

■Quickly open FUEL VALVE two full turns while rotating IGNITOR KNOB clockwise until stove lights. (Fig. 15)

CAUTION

A persistent high, yellow fl ame indicates fl ooding or a leak. Close fuel valve, let fl ames burn out and stove cool. Turn stove upside down to empty any fuel from burner and wipe dry. Review instructions and relight stove.
