This guide describes the Content Engine models listed belo w.
The CE-511 and CE-566 are configured for A C-input power and have a single
AC-input po wer supply.
The Content Engine comes with an integrated dual-port Ethernet controller . This
controller provides an interface for connecting to 10-Mbps, 100-Mbps, or
1000-Mbps networks.
Content Engines have two 10 BASE-T/100BASE-TX/1000B ASE-TX Ethernet
ports with RJ-45 receptacles. Both Ethernet ports support autodetect speed mode
and full-duplex operation, which enable simul taneous transmission and reception
of data on the Ethernet LAN.
In addition, the CE-566 is configured with one Ultra320 low-voltage differential
(L VD) small computer system interface (SCSI) connector for attaching the Cisco
Storage Array. The SCSI adapter is install ed in Peripheral Component
Interconnect-Extended (PCI-X) slot 2 on the back panel. (See Figure 1-2.)
