If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug

in any way.

Important safeguards for all electrical appliances

Handy hints

For best flavor, store coffee beans in an airtight container.

Grind coffee beans immediately before brewing.

Grinding times will vary depending on amount and grind fineness.

To ensure optimal grinding performance, allow Coffee Grinder to cool for at least 2 minutes between uses.

Coffee flavor and strength is a personal preference. Vary the type of coffee beans, amount of coffee and fineness of grind to find the flavor you prefer.

To grind amounts not listed on controls, select the next closest amount.

The Conical Burr Grinder will not grind food that is sticky or extremely hard ie. chocolate, cheese, whole nutmeg, candied fruits, etc.

The Conical Burr Grinder will not make pastes of any fruits, seeds or herbs ie. curry pastes, nut batters.

The grind (for espresso machines)

The coffee must be finely ground, but not too fine (the correct grind should look gritty, like salt or sand).

If the grind is too fine, the water, when brewing, will not flow through the coffee even under pressure (this grind looks like powder and feels like flour when rubbed between fingers).

If the grind is too coarse, the water, when brewing, will flow too fast through the coffee too fast, preventing a full flavored extraction.

Care and cleaning

Do not immerse Grinder, Power Cord or Plug in water or any other liquid. Do not fill the stainless steel Grinder Base or Grinding Chamber with water or any other liquid.

1.Unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.

2.Remove Bean Container by turning counterclockwise to ‘Align’ symbols, then lift straight up.

3.Remove the Ground Coffee Container by pulling out from the left-hand side of the Coffee Grinder.

4.The Removable Ground Coffee Container, Bean Container and Lid should be washed in warm soapy water, rinse and dried thoroughly.

5.Wipe base with a damp cloth. Wipe exterior of unit with slightly damp cloth. Polish with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasives.
