Electrical Safety
•Before installing or removing signal cables, ensure that the power cables for the system unit and all attached devices are unplugged.
•To prevent electrical shock hazard, disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet before relocating the system.
•When adding or removing any additional devices to or from the system, contact a qualified service technician or your dealer. Ensure that the power cables for the devices are unplugged before the signal cables are connected. If possible, disconnect all power cables from the existing system before you service.
•If the power supply is broken, do not try to fix it by yourself. Contact a qualified service technician or your dealer.
Operation Safety
•Servicing of this product or units is to be performed by trained service personnel only.
•Before operating the server, carefully read all the manuals included with the server package.
•Before using the server, make sure all cables are correctly connected and the power cables are not damaged. If any damage is detected, contact your dealer as soon as possible.
•To avoid short circuits, keep paper clips, screws, and staples away from connectors, slots, sockets and circuitry.
•Avoid dust, humidity, and temperature extremes. Place the server on a stable surface.
This product is equipped with a three-wire power cable and plug for the user’s safety. Use the power cable with a properly grounded electrical outlet to avoid electrical shock.
Lithium-Ion Battery Warning
CAUTION! Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Green Server with High Expandability & Upgradability
Support Up-to-date Intel CPU
The RS300-E6/PS4 is built with LGA Socket 1156, support 45nm Quad Core UP CPU and dual-channel DDR3-1333, and it is also designed ready for next-gen
32 nm Dual Core UP CPU to allow effortless migration to Intel’s new platform and therefore prolong your investment. The ASUS proprietary CPU heat-pipe will deliver high thermal performance for stable computing applications.
High I/O Expandability
The RS300-E6 supports 2+1 I/O expansion slots in the 1U chassis, including one PCI-E x8 slot to support low-profile/half-length card, one PCI-E x16 slot to support full-height/half-length card, and another slot designed for ASUS optional PIKE card, which brings seamless upgrade to SAS storage and RAID protection.
Green Design with 80+ PSU & Intelligent Fan Control
With current trends leaning towards power efficiency, the RS300-E6/PS4 is equipped with 80+ PSU to reduce the power loss and power consumption, and save power bill for users. In order to upgrade from SATA storage to SAS directly, ASUS recommends customers to use its optional PIKE Upgrade Kit, which is compatible with IntelR
XEON 5500 & 3400 Series platform products. With PIKE, slim-sized and flexible storage options for customers can be achieved when upgrading directly to SAS
RAID with multiple I/O solutions, without sacrificing expansion capabilities. Now maximize your I/O performance and data protection in second!
Remote Management Solution °V ASUS ASMB4 iKVM
The optional ASMB4-iKVM upgrade kit provides remote real-time full control access to the system based on BIOS-level by keyboard, video monitor and mouse (KVM over Ethernet) from any local computer anywhere, anytime.
Save Effort with Auto-install CD
With the auto-install support CD, you don’t need to wait and click “next” step by step, as the user’s preferences are pre-configured in the CD.As well, the correct device drivers have been installed properly, and it’s not necessary to update device drivers in OS, which will save time and effort of MIS.
